Learn Water Towers in Under 3 Minutes [Satisfactory]

hey yo and welcome today we are looking at how to build a water tower but more specifically how to generate a ton of head lift in our pipe network with as few pumps as possible but before we dive in what is a water tower in satisfactory it's really just a section of pipe connected to your network in a really tall loop one side has pumps to add the head lift and the other side acts as a return pipe that connects at the bottom just before the first pump and this loop can be as tall as it needs to be some people will put a buffer on the top but i don't recommend it because it's an extra thing to fill with fluid before your pipe network's flowing properly and you don't actually need it for the head lift to work so let's put this into practice here we have a ready to go wet concrete factory we have 12 refineries and each refinery takes 100 water so each three refineries will use up one fully filled mark one pipe we are filling four lines of water with the 300 water necessary and each one has a dedicated fully overclocked water extractor providing that 300 water the only thing this factory is missing is enough head lift for the water to reach the top of these pipes so let's start with making the tower we'll create a pipe junction at the bottom to feed our fluid network into later and then we'll run two pipes up to as high as we want to go and connect them add however many pumps as you need to reach the top with head lift and in our case that's just one and that's it for the tower part now in order for this to provide head lift to the whole network we need to connect it all together this does have the side effect the fluid will distribute as evenly as possible so factor that in if you aren't using or expecting full pipes next connect the pipe network to the tower and presto head lift achieved if we head up to our refineries now we can see them starting to come to life we still have one major thing to watch out for because remember when i said we only needed one pump because we could see the indicator reaching the top well it would seem the indicator is a dirty rotten liar because some of our refineries are getting starved if we look at the top of the water tower the flow rate is also all over the place so how do we fix it we'll add one extra pump near the top even though it said we didn't need it and if we recheck the top bend it should be at 300 flow consistently now pipes can still be a little wonky so it might not be perfect but i can tell you for sure this helped a ton for consistency in this factory and that's it for today if you found this useful hit that like button so that more pioneers can find this and if you feel like saying hello drop by the stream links in the description until next time
