hello everyone today i'm making lasagna oh welcome it's one of oppa's favorites hello to the people oh my god you didn't know you're not on your face isn't on just your voice to say hello good morning everybody okay i was busy making him some coffee coffee now okay i've got some oil in my pan nice and hot i'm gonna add one large onion chopped up hmm okay next i'm going to add um i'll be right back okay guys i'm back um i had to sneeze you you weren't gonna get me again with that sneeze okay so now i'm gonna add my one kilogram of mince okay hang on again guys okay all cleaned up all cleaned up so i'm just gonna without moving it too much i'm not gonna stir yet let's just just go for five to ten minutes and we'll be right back okay guys about five minutes in and i'm just gonna add my this is six cloves of garlic chopped up you can of course um before you add the mince you can add your tomatoes and your tomato face and puree this is entirely up to you i'm also going to add a teaspoon of salt this is two heap tablespoons of black pepper just keep you know teaspoon of italian herbs mixed italian herbs freshly chopped parsley i don't have basil so the dried basil is in the in the dried herbs okay i'm just going to lick that dough for a bit i don't want to disturb it too much anything brown a bit at the bottom okay okay now i'm going to give it a stir and break it up a bit it already smells so good now lasagna i don't make a really often this is a treat a once in a while treat it's quite decadent guys this recipe and i always serve it with a nice crisp and fresh green salad just to break that richness of the meal itself this is one of oppa's favorites so he's very excited very very excited okay and it's gonna go for another 10 minutes okay guys it's 10 minutes in and i'm gonna add this is three large tomatoes that i've peeled and put in the food processor and blended it you can use canned tomatoes if you like i didn't have so i'm using fresh tomatoes and this is 240 grams of tomato puree okay 50 grams of tomato paste uh someone asked them what am i don't you cook with tomatoes tomatoes for africa and three heap tablespoons of sugar nice stir see i haven't added any water yet oh this is going to be so good okay now i'm just going to allow this to really just concentrate a bit more i'm not going to add any water as yet i'll probably do so in the next five to six minutes then i'll add the water and my heat is on medium to high okay okay guys it's been about 10 minutes i'm just gonna taste a bit of the sauce to see if i have enough seasoning if i have enough salt or if i have enough sugar okay here we go yeah perfect please at the stage you taste your food and then you can decide for yourself if you want to add more sugar or more salt but this is perfect for my test okay you can see it's nice and thick so now i'm gonna add about a cup of water and then i'm gonna just let this simmer on the other side on the other cooker for about 20-25 minutes and in the meantime i'm going to make our sauce okay guys i'm back man sorry i got a call i had to think the score was very very important okay i'm gonna make a quick white sauce now remember lasagnas you get a lot of different recipes and some ask for a bechamel sauce the one with the flour then you can do your layers with ricotta cheese and the list goes on wonderful wonderful recipes this one is what's convenient for me okay so i've got elite in a hall sorry one liter one liter and a quarter right of milk here we go and then i got six tablespoons of corn flour and in it goes oh yeah okay and this is a teaspoon of white pepper you can use black pepper of course you see and then i'm going to use just a half a teaspoon of salt a teaspoon of mustard this is optional okay if you don't have the mustard don't throw it in it's just a personal preference and nutmeg just a quick rating of nutmeg okay here we go makes all the difference now i'm going to stir this well and then i'm going to put it in the microwave and then every two minutes i'm going to stir with my whisk until it's nice and thick and then i'm going to add 120 grams of butter and a few and a bit of uh cheese okay and we'll be right back okay okay guys so now the sauce is done i just remember if you want the sauce to be thicker just add extra two tablespoons of corn flour or less milk the quarter cup of malt just take it away okay i'm gonna add the butter melt it in with that just remember with corn flour it does pull stuff a bit more as you let it stand okay and now this is a cup of the mature cheddar cheese it goes in as well oh i'm missing everywhere okay and now the next step is where we're going to assemble and layer the lasagna then the oven is preheating at 180 degrees celsius and it will bake for about 50 minutes depending 50 to an hour but i'm going to cover it with foil for the first 40 to 45 minutes and then just let it bake after that i'll remove the foil and then let it bake until the the cheese is nice and golden brown look at that okay and we'll be right we'll be right back okay guys i'm ready now to assemble okay now it's the mince mixture i'm just gonna put a little at the bottom and make sure that your mince mixture is liquid any day this allows for the pasta to cook through and just spread it out this is just the bottom layer there we go quick and easy just the pasta don't dry out so you put a thin layer at the bottom okay [Music] now i'm gonna put okay let's do it this way slightly overlap that's fine there we go and next small the mince mixture spray it out there we go everywhere see this is a nice large one and you can make this ahead of time cool it off completely cover it you can freeze it then thought overnight and then bake it it's entirely up to you and now i'm gonna add the cheese no no first the white sauce i mean the cheesy sauce look at that okay not too much oopsie oopsie the cheese i forgot to tell you guys i added a little bit of mozzarella cheese to this as well i did yummy in my tummy but more oh yeah need to wipe my hands okay now i'm going to put some mozzarella slices i'll show you the one layer and then i'll do the rest and when i'm done i'll show you the final covering of the foil see that's the mozzarella makes it nice and cheesy when you cut into it and this is a bit of the this is a uh all together about three cups of mozzarella mozzarella and the cheddar cheese and this is 200 grams of the mozzarella just a little bit over there we go okay here we go so the cheese is full the last layer and now we're going to repeat the whole process and we'll be right back guys i'm gonna pour the rest of the sauce over cheesy goodness waste spread it out nice over everything and if you want you can let this sit for about 10 minutes before putting it in the oven just so the pasta can soften up soften up a little bit okay the rest of the cheese remember this is a mixture of mozzarella and very strong cheddar cheese hmm there's a lot of cheese inside gonna be that nice stringy cheese it was peachy and then some black pepper some chopped parsley you can if you don't have this you don't have to do this so the next step is we um i'm gonna take it out of the oven and then remember i'm gonna put the foil on okay into the oven for 40 minutes 45 minutes take it out take off the foil put it back in the oven 15 10 minutes till the cheese is nice and golden brown then you let it sit for 15 minutes to 20 minutes before you dish up and while that happens i make my nice green salad and then i'll show you how i dish up yet these guys just came out of the oven nice lasagna i made a nice green salad there with dressing and another tip is if your filling goes all the way to the top put a piece of baking paper over before you put on the foil or let it bake and then after you take it out with a foil remove the foil and then add your cheese okay and if you want to make a smaller one simply half the ingredients and there we go look at that yummy in my tummy now it's still hot so you won't get squeezed but perhaps i can show you if i just dish it goes right through there we go look at that look at that yummy in my tummy look
