Las Vegas Spring 2021 | What Is It Like Right Now? | Food & Drinks | Caesars Palace Stay!

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] well good afternoon my friends i hope all of you are having an awesome fantastic day i am not in florida anymore i am in vegas las vegas nevada and boy it feels good to be back in the city of sins there's there's not going to be any sins on this trip i am here on a family vacation just to hang out and enjoy spring break and definitely show you what vegas is like right now post pandemic or well we're still in a pandemic but it's post pandemic now and things are reopening and honestly just from the airport here to caesar's palace it pretty much looks normal so i'm very eager to show you everything there is here in vegas that is currently being offered i want to eat a lot of good food i hope you guys are ready because i am so ready i am so excited i feel refreshed let's go do this before we go have some fun i want to show you guys a very quick room tour like i said we are staying here at caesars palace we are staying in the octavius tower you have the front door right here adjoining room and look at this bathroom wow very fancy i love the walk-in shower here it is very spacious you also gotta love the privacy here that is a plus his and her sinks look at this jacuzzi man that looks nice you have a mirror here hey guys and right outside of the bathroom you have a closet with your hangers ironing board iron from the closet and your main entrance in the bathroom you have your bedroom with two queen size beds nice little tv i know we're in vegas i know we're not in disney anymore yeah all of this is very tempting but yet very expensive but look at this the fridge is stocked you also have a very nice couch but look at this view whoa it is a little overcast today it was raining on the flight in i have always wanted to stay here at this resort as the hangover is one of my favorite movies of all time then over here you have the link you have harris the venetian the palazzio we are in a very good location and then you have the high roller right here which i definitely want to do at some point okay that was my quick room tour so i was able to go on open table which is an app that you can make dining reservations with i highly recommend download opentable before coming here to vegas i was trying to make a reservation at hell's kitchen and mr chow both of them are full for my stay looks like hell's kitchen is only open a few days because of the pandemic but i was able to score a gordon ramsay pub and grill reservation here at caesars palace so we're gonna make our way down to the lobby and have some fun okay we made it downstairs i am now in front of mr chao i really want to eat here don't follow trends be yourself mr chow they have masks available just in case you forget yours or need one that's nice and there's also plenty of hand sanitizer there's also plenty of ground markers as we are heading through the casino right now it looks like this is a kind of a quick service location but it's not open right now without getting too close all of the table games have plenty of plexiglass around them look at this sign everyone at the table games must wear masks i have made it outside to the front entrance and the first thing i am seeing look at these fancy sports cars that's parked here in the front oh man i have always wanted to drive a lamborghini whoa pork hashtag like a caesar there's more whoa and here we are i am very excited to eat here check out some of the merch that you can buy i like this kitchen apron oh also look at this one it's raw if you guys want to check out the menu and follow along scan this qr code with your phone for my appetizer i got the wedge salad which looks delicious and then for my drink one of chef ramsay's favorites the rosemary manhattan gordon ramsay's favorite chicken sandwich i believe it is a little spicy but look at that gordon ramsay's pub and grill was fantastic i have a lot to say about this restaurant but it's a little loud so i'm going to talk more about it when i get back to the hotel room the theming throughout this resort is very mind-blowing i like it very much but next up we're heading to the forum shops i was really looking forward to checking out the atlanta show here but right now the atlanta show is temporarily out of service because of the pandemic and social distancing oh there's like a giant vegas shop over here a fat tuesday i'm heading to nike first dang this is a giant nike store two stories hopefully they have my shoe size because i can never find my shoe size i wear size 15 so it is a little harder to find at times [Music] oh yes they had my size [Music] the lights are starting to turn on on the strip right now but i am back in the hotel room i took a little bit of a nap because i'm very tired from the flight from florida over to nevada a three-hour time difference but i feel good now i want to talk about our lunch from earlier oh my goodness it was fantastic i have nothing to say i enjoyed every single bite especially that wedge salad it was amazing the chicken sandwich was pretty delicious it had like a spicy kick to it towards the end the rosemary manhattan oh my goodness it was so good normally i don't really care for manhattan's the service and the guest service is amazing there by the way but our server told us it's more like a old fashioned and if you guys have been watching the channel for some time you guys know how much i love old fashions and wow we may have to go back there but there's just so much food that i want to try here in vegas i just don't think i have enough time but the food so far amazing but we're going to freshen up head back downstairs for some more fun disney follows me everywhere i go they have disney lounge flies here wow i like this denim mini one [Laughter] all right i have made it back downstairs here at vanderpump cocktail garden if you would like to check out the menu here is the qr code for my drink this evening i got the cold blooded it is blood orange old-fashioned bourbon fresh blood orange and bitters it looks really good [Music] [Music] [Music] i have made my way to the strip and look how beautiful it is outside today it's very nice a little chilly but nice as we're making our way over to the paris we made it look at this view anyways we are having breakfast this morning at mon amy gabby a classic french bistro i hope i said that right if you guys want to check out the menu here's the qr code we're kind of outside but not really also there's plenty of plexiglas around us i got a very nice cappuccino but look what my nana got wow that is ginormous compared to mine my breakfast has arrived i got the grilled prime steak and eggs platter with three eggs your way hash browns and this was 29.95 i really enjoyed breakfast this morning i normally don't order steak and eggs for breakfast but i'm glad i did today it is really cold and windy today i highly recommend this place they offer breakfast they offer lunch and they offer dinner a really good form of transportation here in vegas is the deuce especially if you don't have your own car this bus will take you all throughout the strip it will take you to the outlet mall and also downtown vegas we usually do that every family vacation but since we're still in the middle of a pandemic the deuce is pretty crowded so i think we're just going to uber everywhere else we go [Music] if you would like to do some shopping when you're here in vegas i would really recommend come check out the miracle mile shops here at planet hollywood i'm going to do some shopping and the first store that caught my eye was lululemon oh yes next up sunglasses everything in the store buy one get one free one thing that i really enjoy about vegas is all of the shows however right now there's not a lot of shows going on like there's no cirque shows which those shows are the best but smaller shows they're starting to return the raiders have an entire store for raider merchandise after some time gambling and shopping we made it back out to the strip i made it inside of the bellagio probably going to do some more shopping oh very nice in their casino they have a hand washing station it's crazy to see so many mountains off in the distance now back at caesar's palace we're going to hop in an uber and head over to the stratosphere but look at this hell's kitchen i still cannot find a reservation the nearest one is april 21st so just about a month away i may have to settle on a t-shirt for this trip i've made it to the end of the strip and check out this new archway here city of las vegas very nice and here we are at the strat aka the stratosphere i don't know why they changed it i was talking with my uber driver he said they changed it about eight months ago it's time time to head up all the way to the top well dang it seems to be a little busy just like that i was able to bypass that line and i bought my tickets online i came back up to the room for a little bit to just recharge i got some starbucks to wake me up and look at this you are here mug i like collecting these i just found out something very interesting you can bring your dogs here you're allowed two pets or two dogs per room and i believe the size of each dog has to be under 50 pounds i thought that was pretty interesting to know here we are at the link there's chewbacca right over there as well we're going to head to the high roller and who knows what else there's a pretty long line at the moment i'm going to try to buy my tickets online just like that luckily i already had the ticketmaster app on my phone i got them wow it's pretty big in here very spacious i'm excited this is going to be a lot of fun this screen is pretty cool because it will tell you the time and also the elevation right now we're at 177 right there is the venetian and then you have the wind i've always wanted to stay at the wind maybe in the future and then you have the golf course right here this view is so cool we are almost to the very top but look at this you can see the airport more mountains [Music] [Music] [Music] almost to the top our elevation 542. 550 feet up we are higher than the eiffel tower well the one in vegas and also the statue of liberty over at new york new york you do share the capsule with other parties or families but this capsule is so big you have plenty of room just about a 30 minute ride also the employees will clean each cabin after each use the next stop on today's adventure brings us to i love sugar here's a quick look at the menu so many options these are each 42 dollars by the way looks like you can get gummy bears with vodka in it or tequila [Music] okay [Music] so [Music] oh my goodness this drink is ginormous i decided to go with the high roller margarita cheers that's a drink that is a very strong but it's delicious is it too strong for you yes when you're done because trust me there's no way you can eat all of these gummy bears they actually give you a bag here to fill it up and bring it home this place is awesome you will walk out of here with a great buzz i promise you we just about finished it bacon cotton candy okay look at the eiffel tower i heard hex is another good restaurant to go get some food [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] yes we got to see the water fountains here at the bellagio live in person it's crazy to see what water fountains can do for entertainment the fire has started here at hell's kitchen i'm going to pop my head inside of the restaurant just to see if there was any last minute cancellations i found the t-shirts i like this one i may go with this one lots of options here they have a little bit of everything well i did ask and they had no last minute cancellations let this be a lesson learned when you guys come to vegas make sure you have your dining reservations looks like usher is coming here to caesar's palace opening july 2021. i made it back up to the room it was a very fun but very long day we had dinner at cafe americano and that restaurant is located downstairs in the main lobby it was pretty good i had the cuban sandwich very good french fries very good so it got the job done i'm still a little sad slash disappointed about the stratosphere but it is what it is we still had a very fun day and i am very tired man this time change has really messed up my sleep schedule i do want to talk about the room really quick so so far the beds are very comfortable i do like the space in this room and the noise level very quiet also since we are on the topic of how is las vegas right now i will say 95 of the time everybody is trying to keep their distance everybody seems to be wearing a mask but today since we you know we walked a good amount around the strip i did notice some people not wearing a mask but luckily it was outside we kept our distance so i will say for the most part you don't have anything to worry about i think the most you have to worry is outside when you're walking up and down the strip but when you're inside each resort or each casino it's mandatory you have to wear a mask and the employees will tell you to put on a mask so nothing really to worry about when you're inside of the casinos or the [Music] resorts [Music] good morning my friends we are up we had breakfast it is now time for my massage here at the spa here we go looks like we are heading upstairs i'm passing by one of the wedding chapels here at caesars very nice ooh there's a smaller chapel i'm about to get my massage i do have to keep my face covering on at all times it is really nice in here i just got done with my amazing massage i went with the hot stone massage for 50 minutes oh man i needed that i've been under a little bit of stress and that was much needed i feel like a brand new man that massage was amazing on backup in the room i was filming on the gopro i am now using the big camera anyways the game plan for today is to go to the start of the strip and enjoy those resorts and restaurants and who knows what the day will bring it is my last day here so we got to take in as much as we can let's go do this you definitely see so much weird and odd things on the strip here in vegas i mean some very odd scary things at times oh very nice they have added a target on the strip that's pretty cool right next to the ross honestly this is the most cleanest i've seen the strip like as we're walking to the front of the strip i just see so many employees from the resorts cleaning the sidewalks and sanitizing as i'm passing by new york new york i heard the roller coaster going i want to do it but i don't think i'm allowed to film i've done it a few times in the past it is really fun [Music] currently here in vegas and i'm sure pretty much all over the world right now buffets are not a thing and i read online the only buffet that is available right now in vegas only one and that buffet is off the strip hopefully buffets return in some form pretty soon but who knows one thing that i really appreciate over here at the excalibur the luxor mandalay bay they're all connected inside so you don't even have to walk outside i'm inside of the luxor aka the pyramid i've been hearing this place is pretty haunted i don't know by the way carrot top is performing so if you want to see a show that's a good one to check out there's titanic bodies lots of things to do in this resort and here we are at mandalay bay i am starving so i'm going to have lunch here at house of blues for my appetizer i got the texas barbecue chicken wings and for my entree i got another wedge salad and street corn house of blues here at mandalay bay was very delicious i highly recommend you know it's crazy because i have not had one bad thing this entire trip everything's been very delicious okay we are making our way out of the excalibur oh there goes the coaster we are now heading to new york new york that looks so fun and then after new york new york we are heading over to the mgm grand i'm going to stop in hershey's chocolate world because i noticed the statue of liberty made out of twizzlers wow now that is very very impressive now i would definitely wear this reese's t-shirt that is my favorite candy of all time 24.95 i was just upstairs i am now downstairs and holy cow look at this reese's brownie sandwich whoa peanut butter brownie with reese's pieces cookies and cream brownie oh man now we're talking if you would like to you can create your own candy bar wrapper now that's different you can get all kinds of candy including all the different kinds of hershey's kisses oh my goodness you can get a hershey's milkshake that reese's peanut butter milkshake looks delicious and that cookies and cream you can also get a jolly rancher slush oh geez look at this peanut butter cheesecake passing through the mgm grand as we are watching a little bit of march madness a few hours later i went back up to the room and took a very nice cat nap but now i'm all alone i'm gonna head back over to the link i'm gonna eat some in and out and then i also want to go over to the venetian to check out the cake boss bakery if you guys watch cake boss you guys know what i'm talking about it's gonna be fun dang there's a white castle here on the strip that's a game changer decisions decisions [Music] all right let's head inside the venetian one thing i'm already noticing here at the venetian a lot of the stores are closed they have not reopened looks like the gondolas are running i wish bianca was here i would love to do this with her i totally did not know buddy v had a restaurant here it looks really nice in there but i found the big shop there's a little bit of a line but honestly i was expecting it to be much worse i got pretty lucky the bakery closes in about eight minutes so i hit it just in time i got a red velvet cake slice and a cannoli i'm looking at the mirage i think the volcano may go off as i'm seeing a conjugation of people also there's treasure island i'm now back at the link for some dinner at in and out but i do want to say next time i come to vegas i would love to stay here at the link what they have zip lining here unfortunately it's closed today due to weather i've made it to in and out the demand for in and out is just crazy people go nuts over this place and i don't blame them
