LANDING YOUR FIRST KICKFLIP!

hey guys so we're here today with Esteban and he's gonna learn how to do it so you got Ollie's frontside 180 backside 180 pop chef French chef okay but we're up to the kickflip you've been working on kick those for how long two months okay I saw you try one and it looked like you were really quite close so let's see what you got good do another one good that's really close here try try doing it like this you're going to purposely step off with your back foot and just leave your front foot on like that so leave that keep that front foot high there you go there you go now once you're there all you have to do is the exact same thing only one more step and it's bend that back knee whoo you got this yeah there it is there it is all right you got it you got that right here boom I've been feeling you're going to land this one right now yes yes clicking wrong when you when you feel like you're starting to flicker on the thing that you do is you go back to this step because it forces your front foot to flick correctly and bring it up so try that a couple times good that looked a lot better we just got to keep your front foot high do it again good now land it right here so close you got it yeah well once you like are in the mindset of I'm going to put everything together and land it sometimes it changes a little bit and that's where it's just go back get comfortable get comfortable then be like oh got it okay that is so close it's just really a point of practice for getting your legs used to doing that motion okay oh that was it right there oh man you got it right here whoo dude you're so close oh man keep that front foot up up up above it yes that was amazing that was amazing does amazing that's amazing so what is what like help I think yeah yeah yeah it's the most common thing to like foot down and get the board away from you so you just handle that and that practice step is the way to do it practice practice practice practice practice cool that was awesome you killed it so thanks a lot for coming out thank you for learning kickflips thank you for watching please subscribe like leave a comment below definitely check out skateboarding made simple it's available on all these platforms ibooks rail skateboarding calm and google play it's the most comprehensive video we've ever made and it teaches skateboarding better than anything else out there you won't be disappointed you
