Rion's TV good morning hey guys welcome to Rion's TV, I'm Rion, Seeeno Gaooo! So this is the second day of Kyoto if you haven't checked the first day of Kyoto please check that video so today I'm planning to go to our Arashiyama and also the Nishiki market anyway hope you can see how the kyoto town looks like right now so before going out let's eat breakfast yesterday I bought a salmon raw and flake "Shake and Ikura" also Ebi mayonaise Onigiri which I couldn't eat it, oh hold on one second, I don't have a drink so let me go to buy drink there is a small vending machine at the hotel aisle so I went there to buy it so I got a drink it's cafe latte relax coffee it was 140 Japanese yen oh I believe we bought this at the supermarket 80 Japanese yen but you have to spend money bring the travel so it's okay so those are my breakfast today this is shrimp mayonnaise onigiri which I bought it yesterday at 7-eleven mayonnaise with onigiri it matches perfectly if you haven't tried it at least you'd better tried it once next Salmon and ikura onigiri this one has no seaweed it's a bit special style rice have light soy sauce flavor really good with Salmon and Ikura it's so good and loving it, so sweet that was really good like fast actually I have to leave here in 50 minutes so yeah well it's totally mess right now let me prepare ah yes I made a time I'm in front of Kyoto station right now yeah such a big station and then I've seen many travelers but, seems like a ghost town right now really less people anyway I'm planning to go to arashiyama today so let's go arrived to Kyoto station right now from here to arashiyama it takes about 15 minutes by train and 25 minutes walking, yes a lot of working in Kyoto by the way it's 11:10 from JR Kyoto station to arashiyama you need to use Sagano lines you just need to turn left and keep straight it's really simple to find the trains, so number 32 this is the train to go to saga Arashiyama by the way compared to yesterday it's a bit crowded it's 11:13 let's see how long it takes, let's wait! alright so seems like we arrived to saga arashiyama station what a beautiful place well it took about 15? 17? minutes I think Not far at all, so let's go to Kagetsu-kyo bridge let's go so after you get out from the station you have to go south gate that means turn left and keep straight, we could enjoy that training over there but unfortunately it's not working today let's go so we are here right now and we are heading to this Togetsukyo bridge this is the really popular spot let's see how crowded it is let's keep walking compared to yesterday seems like more people here huh I thought it could be less people it's not only for the travelers but I've seen like many locals anyway let's keep walking so this is the rental cycle place the operation time is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the price is 1000 Japanese yen for a day, it's the standard bicycle, also they have a luggage storage service 400 Japanese yen per item per day however they close today it's okay maybe next time and also I feel 1000 Japanese yen for bicycle it's expensive all right so let's keep walking there are many signs on the street so probably you will not get lost here if we keep straight we will get to Togetsukyo bridge but let's check the bamboo globe first this is a really popular bamboo street in arashiyama this place was packed by so many travelers but now as you can see really quiet Wow look at this "Renta Saikuru 100 Yen" it means rental bicycle is only for 100 Japanese yen but seems like they are not working anymore I guess it's a really old one maybe before this place gets popular because imagine if you have to pay 1,000 Japanese yen at the station and then this place only 100 Japanese yen yeah they would increase the price I believe as you can see it's really peaceful place nice so I came back to this place again there was a really nice bamboo forest next let's go to Togetsukyo which is a really popular bridge so let's keep walking in this morning it was cloudy but now it's a beautiful sky compared to other street there are many people walking here but still really less they still have kimono rental too, for student 2,900 Japanese yen but the regular price is 4900 Japanese yen it's nice huh my goodness it's really hot today yeah I saw the news today's highest temperature is about 32 degrees it's really hot so this is a really popular spot Togetsukyo bridge the real photo spot is going that way I wanna take a thumbnail so let's go this way Wow look at the water and the bridge and the mountain! it's green! I love this place I really feel Summer has came so this is the really popular bridge Togetsukyo bridge to be honest I've seen this place many times on TV but this is my first time to come over here yeah that's right I was born and racing Osaka Kyoto is just right next to Osaka but that's the honest opinion from locals well if I ask my friend I think my local friends neither well I have been to Kiyomizu dera temple many times but somehow this Togetsukyol bridge is not that match oh maybe for foreigners bamboo forest and this Togetsukyo bridge it's really popular, but for locals if you go to kind of countryside in Japan probably you can find really similar place like this that's my honest local opinion however again I was born in the raised in Japan if you are the travelers from foreign country definitely you should visit this place anyway let's go to check next place well to be honest I was thinking of trying something to eat However, those places are really expensive that's right even the cucumber costs 250 Japanese yen yeah,, let me find something yeah let's keep walking well I found something that affordable and interesting let me try this Shiso juice it's 300 Japanese yen it's a bit expensive but still affordable well I think I haven't tried the real Shiso drink so let me try that speaking Japanese this looks really cute speaking Japanese we have a place to drink too, nice ! I was really thirsty well I was expecting more sour taste but yeah this was really good for drinking it's kind of sweet but then later I can really smell the Shiso flavor it's nice and it looks cute too and also there's an AC you can cool it down it's nice loving it if you are thinking of coming to arashiyama in summer season yeah make sure hydrate yourself it's gonna be really hot, even it's June the highest temperature is about 32 degrees so I think it's gonna be like a 40 degrees Wow actually I did realize that there's a second floor too and you can sit down in a table it would be much much much cooler but anyway I don't wanna stay in the restaurant so it's okay all right so let's keep walking well after Shiso drink still I'm thirsty and I found this vending machine which is cheaper than usual it's only 100 Japanese yen sweet, I'm thinking of drinking Japanese cider or a cream Ramune Cream Ramune sounds more interesting so let me get this so let me try it Saiko well it's really difficult to explain the taste it's kind of like a creamy ramune soda by the way if you don't know what the Ramune soda well I have made a video explaining about Ramune and also the Ramune drinking tips so please check that video I think station is almost there so let's keep walking so for the next place let's go back to the Kyoto station, alright so let me sit down, still more people compared to that time I came here however you know I can find sheet easily so let's go back to Kyoto station arrived to Kyoto this time it was a rapid train much faster it's 1:53 right now we're heading to Nishiki Ichiba well I believe there will be really less people compared to usual but let's see so after came back to Kyoto station we have to take that Karasuma line subway so that way let's keep walking so arrive to Shijo station right now Nishiki market is almost there I think we have to walk about five minutes from here not that bad okay so let's get out from the station and the let's walk to the Nishiki Ichiba market I believe there will be real less people well I really wanna try the street food at the Nishiki market but because of the situation I'm not sure but anyway I want to share how it looks like after the covid-19 so let's get there anyway after get out from the exists just keep straight find exit number 16 that's the closest way to get there yeah that's right I just asked the guy in the station I'm pretty sure the information is not wrong! well this aisle is kind of scary okay seems like I have an apple store where is the Nishiki market hold on wait I can smell something good where is this smells from oh by the way the Apple store was closed until recently I think they start the operation yesterday I believe a lot of people waiting but still only few people can get into the store and then other people have to wait outside the store seems like after you get out from the exit number 16 you have to keep left and Nishiki Ichiba market it's just over there all right so all right so arrived to Nishiki Ichiba market yeah that's the entrance so if you have visited here maybe you know that it's really crowded I think it's still much better compared to usual however for me it is really crowded I believe from here I'd better wear masks I think still, I'd better not to eat there anyway let me show you guys how it looks like let's go this Nishiki Ichiba market is one of the most popular market in japan this place has over 1200 years history nowadays you don't see much fish stores but originally this place was a fish market there is Kuromon Ichiba fish market in osaka however it became a big tourist trap this Nishiki Ichiba market seems like still remaining local atmosphere so I like Nishiki Ichiba market better from here I can smell the Senko smell you know usually during the summer festival we smell this smell yeah, I knew that there is a temple probably I'm gonna come back this place and then I'm gonna make a livestream for a food tour or something you know since it's a really tiny Street and there were so many people I don't think I should try some street food there yeah maybe next time so this is how the Nishiki Ichiba market looks like well actually yesterday you know I went to the Kiyomizu dera temple right but I kind of forget to visit the one important place that I really want to share so maybe I'm gonna go back to the kiyomizu dera temple let's go back to the Kiyomizu dera temple actually I really want to use the train but I think if we use the train it would take so long time so let me give it up I will use the bass so from the Nishiki Ichiba market, just get out, go south and turn left then you will find a bus station over there try to take the buss number 207 then you can get to the Kyomizu dera temple sorry guys I change my mind you know if we take a bus you can go to the kiyomizu-dera tempel however you know it's just a 30 minutes walking distance and also I found Kamogawa River which I wanted to take a photo so I've decided to walk you know let me grab some coffee and then let me walk beside the Kamogawa River there is a McDonald but since I don't use the bus let me grab something more luxury I'm not sure if it's luxury for you guys but for me yes it is luxury drink Doutor!! this is really popular cafe in Japan usually they are cheaper than Starbucks but this is really good my favorite drink is this one the honey cafe au lait this one is really good, let me make it "to go" 390 Japanese yen I will get the large size because I am thirsty so let me grab some so this is a drink it's 400 Japanese yen this one has a really nice honey flavored cafe latte loving it it's about 30 minutes walking from here so let's keep walking, for me with this cafe latte 30 minutes walking is like a nothing but let's see what I say after 30 minutes waiting so yep this is a Kamogawa River we can walk here Kiyomizu dera temple is over there so let me go down to the riverside by the way you see those restaurants we can eat and watch the Kamogawa river drinking beer during the summer season that's the perfect thing to do here however seems like those restaurants are closed all right so let me take a rest it's still June but it's really hot so if you are coming with kids probably you'd better take a bas or training for sure or maybe taxi speaking of this Kamogawa river you don't see many people today however this place is really popular for dating couples, can you see the people over there, like them many people are sitting this Riverside well even for me when I was a high school student I came here for summer festival Matsuri and sit down beside this Kamogawa river alright so I walk all the way down do you see over there yes that's a place where I was sitting and talking so I came down all the way down all right, so let's keep walking well almost there you see that temple over there yes that's the destination huh alright so finally arrived this is the higashiyama, and that's Yasakno Tou this is a really nice photo spot definitely you can feel the Kyoto atmosphere I wanted to take a photo here that's why I came here well Kiyomizu dera temple is just over there but actually yesterday I visit there so let me show you guys this neighbor let's keep walking by the way I really regret that I didn't trash this around this area so hard to find a trash can so if you would love to take photo and then you are coming here make sure before you get here trash the stuff that you want to trash otherwise you have to walk around here and then you can never find a trash can by the way this is a really popular spot for the Japanese Instagramers there is a really popular coffee store and then after buying that coffee come over to this place and take a photo it is really colorful so let me show you guys a little bit maybe you guys will understand why this place is popular for the Instagramers as you can see it is really colorful so seems like each Bowl have people's wish so this is a really popular coffee store, anyway let's go back to the station since I was too tired I've decided to take a bus it was really easy and comfortable so even if you don't like walking but you want to visit Kyoto don't worry about it the price is only 170 Japanese yen it's not bad at all it's 4:33 right now that's really quick alright so I came back to Kyoto station so from here let me show you guys how to get back from Kyoto station to Nankai Namba station let's keep going after you enter the JR you can take train from number 4 or 5 Kyoto line to Osaka Oh seems like a lot of people I thought it's gonna be less by the way even we don't use the Shinkansen if we use the special rapid training this one we can get back to Kyoto to Osaka station in 30 minutes which is pretty fast of course the price is much cheaper compared to Shinkansen let's get into the train after arrived to Osaka station takes subway from Nishi Umeda station to Namba Station it's a little bit long walk but it's simple enough and also this is the cheapest way to get there Seems like compare to JR line, much less people and then after get out, you can see the sign, that's right this is Nankai line that we want to go so go that way let keep straight if you don't like walking you can use the mido suji line it's a bit expensive but less walking and here we go, this is the entrance of Nankai Namba station so many people here all right so finally you came back Nankai Namba station it's 5:50 it was along trip I walked so long but it was really fun and also I could save money, alright so this video pretty much that's it hope you enjoy the video and this video can help your next Japan travel please subscribe to my channel and turn on your notifications so that that you will not miss my new video and the surprise livestream if you liked the video please share the video with your friend more power to the channel more videos stay safe and happy so see you in the next video!
