Kpop Idols UNC0MFORTABLE With Their outfits

while wearing outfits if you're uncomfortable well is it that easy hi everyone in today's video I'm going to be talking about k-pop idols struggling or feeling uncomfortable with their outfits a quick disclaimer please do not hate the stylist I know I heavily criticize the stylist but I don't want to discredit all of their work when k-pop idols do fun signs at the mall there are cameras on every floor which means there are photos taken at every angle I find it hard to believe that a stylist wouldn't know this but twice definitely know this which is why they looked very uncomfortable with their outfits some of the members went as far as covering themselves with their hair their hands and even fun gifts you [Music] not only that but when they were performing some of the members were blankets around themselves so that no one was able to take photos while this made them feel comfortable they weren't able to do the dance properly yes the office did much the summer concepts but the stylist should have considered the environment that they were going to be in if being a stylist means just cutting the long dress shots then sign me up sorry but there's no creativity in that and in Kay stylist didn't know it's not a dress if all you can see is the safety shots it's just a long top with regular shots I've noticed that Sun is the one that mostly gets the shortest and tightest outfits which is never comfortable when performing but of course there are still other members that get short dresses or short skirts [Music] now this outfit right here is still uncomfortable however there is one thing that I like about it and that is oftentimes stylists will put a slit on the side of tight dresses and tight skirts and what this does is that it prevents the outfit from riding up this allows the idol to dance more freely but no matter how many slits you have if the dress is shot it will still ride up and let's not forget when the stylist did non dirty on this one [Music] this is a problem that many kpop fans have complained about a many k-pop idols have shown discomfort and that is wearing thin outfits in harsh weather conditions when the subject of being uncomfortable is brought up red velvet's irene is one idol that many people think about because she often looks uncomfortable and seems to always struggle with her outfits [Music] there are male community websites that share zoomed in or slow down shifts of female idols dancing the gifs are very unflattering and can make any female feel uncomfortable one Jeff in particular of Irene became viral is clear she saw the Jeff because ever since then she became more self-conscious when dancing [Music] since joy is the tallest member at the beginning of red Velvets career joy used to wear double layered skirts this was saw that the skirt was long enough and it was very thoughtful of the stylist but these days it feels like joy is getting the most ridiculously short and tired con face okay it's bad enough that she's wearing a dress that stole shots and tight but why did she have to wear those uncomfortable shoes why couldn't she wear the same style as other members why's her shoes built like a rich his nose [Music] mom online stylus was heavily criticized for not giving some of the members safety shops many kpop fans think that this was purposely done as a way to gain more more land more attention and popularity now these are just assumptions made by fans and i cannot say that these are facts but think about it the members that were given the uncomfortable outfits were the visuals of the group pushing that assumption aside another incident that made funds very angry was when former member yoni wore shorts that were extremely small it was so small that you could see the imprints on her skin she may have been given a smaller size so that the shorts would appear well fitted however wearing clothes that is too small fear can be very dangerous g'friend don't appear to have many uncomfortable outfits but their fans did criticize the stylist for giving the members skirts that were shorter than their safety shots and here are some incidences where the members were struggling with their outfits [Music] while look at this dress and you know it's not suitable for stage performances [Music] as you can see her strap is loose and she is constantly pulling it up [Music] since we are on the topic of outfits not fitting very well here are more examples [Music] [Music] [Music] it appears that every group has one member that's always given the most shortest or tightest dress [Music] for the most part like pink do care outfits that suit them very well but there are some instances where they wear outfits there are two shots in 2080 Melon Music Awards black Binks outfit was very stunning however they seem to be uncomfortable with those outfits Rosie had a wardrobe malfunction and jenny was seen struggling with her shots [Music] anyways one of those groups that had a major concept change in order to gain popularity just last year a way was criticized for sexualizing regular jobs which is a concept they've been doing for many years the problem lies with whether the members are comfortable with this because there are moments where the members are spotted feeling uncomfortable with their outfits [Music] groups that come from small companies or that are not very popular and most likely to get the worst type of outfits many believe that this is a tactic to gain attention and popularity [Music] so why wear an outfit if it's uncomfortable it really isn't that simple Alice is a member of hello Venus and she requested an outfit change because her outfit was hard to perform in her company ignored her request there are exceptions but for the most part idols don't have a choice in what they wear this isn't about shaming idols for wearing revealing clothes nor does it mean that these idols mentioned in this video wouldn't wear these clothes in different situations if idols had more say in what they were I think would see more confidence on stage their idols that show this is possible FX's amber Jana and Jessi to name a few but I'm going to talk about one group that really embodies the confidence in fashion it doesn't take a genius to know that I was talking about mamamoo and remember when I said there are exceptions while mamamoo is one of those exceptions they participate in some of the decision-making when it comes to outfits they're a group that is all about confidence and losses not only breaking beauty standards but she's also creating her own there's this incident where many people think that Sola is uncomfortable with her outfit but that's not the case because she had a saying what to wear and look how confident she looks it was just when she went up to collect her award she caused her blazer I guess this is more to do with like respect and just to avoid negative opinions because you know how the public is and then there's membrillo who is very confident in her own modest way her nickname is conservative moon and she doesn't like to expose herself because she believes that you can still be prettier even if you don't want to show skin [Music] it must be easy to just point the finger and blame the stylist but in the industry like kpop everything is so fast-paced and there's so much pressure who's to say someone isn't telling them what to do which is why I want to end this video by actually praising a stylist the stylist I guess the most praise is lovely stylist not only does lovely stylist give the members safety shots but she goes that extra mile and gives them under skirts this gives the members more freedom to dance rather than focusing on their outfits when performing on stage and I wish this would be incorporated more into idols outfits [Music]
