hi guys right now today it's really sunny i'm in a great mood because i love sunny weather and i know that some of you guys have watched my uncle roger video and have asked me to do another reaction video so i am going to do one today this is probably going to be my last reaction video to uncle roger so i hope you guys don't mind but i'm just gonna do this one right now which is the let me see now the uncle roger hates jamie oliver fried egg i actually really don't like gordon ramsay i know he kind of scares me so i don't wanted him so i'm going to do roger and jamie oliver's video and i haven't watched this yet apparently he doesn't like it based off the title so i'm going to see how this goes hope you enjoy and let's get into it okay one two three oh didn't record yet okay next time and nephew out there it's jamie oliver making egg fire rice jamie oliver is professional chef very established every i remember back when i was in prime squads to always watch food cooking shows and jamie oliver was always my favorite one because he was always so nice like i love watching nice chefs there's another one called i think huey i think and he was like super lovely i think his motto was never trust a skinny chef and i still love watching them like that was so fun so i'm really excited to see how jamie oliver brings this one to life everybody know him so uncle roger think this one is gonna be good i've been to many of his restaurant before we start with your niece and nephew please smack the like button now like you slap a bag of rice don't make encourages that smack like button now let's start the video egg fried rice it's an absolute classic and i've got a two second intuition and i already see sauce pan hi wear your wok jamie egg fire rice need to use wok because you need to walk hey since i'm korean we don't really use walks so this is something that i don't really use do you guys use walks at your house i i'm pretty sure you would if you're chinese i'm just assuming but i don't actually have used a wok before many people asking uncle roger what is wok hey it is the breath of wok when you cook with wok the wok give the food flavor get the wake no such thing as sauce pan hey jamie you have 25 cookbook but you can't afford one you one work for free jamie no problem i absolutely love making this recipe yes you could do this as a side dish no trouble at all but actually it's heading towards being a really beautiful wait wait wait why would you have fried rice as a side dish that's like the main dish it's not like panchan or something like korean side dishes what dinner so wait yes you could do this as a side dish jamie says egg fire rice is side dish growing up when my mom made me egg fried rice that is the main dish yeah my mom oh mom this egg fire rice is only side dish where the main dish where the main dish i would have been beaten to death i finally slice this up and as this pan gets nice and hot i'm going to go in with one tablespoon of olive oil and what one tablespoon of of what gonna go in okay let me just say that jamie oliver is looking good like he looks so young so healthy i thought he would age a lot since i watched him for over 10 years but he looked actually pretty good like the same with one tablespoon of olive oil olive oil for egg fried rice who use olive oil for egg fire rice why are you making salad olive oil is like white people oil not suitable for asian dishes like egg fire rice and i'm gonna go straight in with the onions and we'll get them sizzling straight away no no no no no spring onion is garnished it's garnish you put spring onion as the last thing oh my gosh this is not going well but at the same time i don't use like i don't specifically use different oils i use grapeseed oil sunflower oil olive oil for all my dishes like i didn't know there's a big difference think in your meal not the first thing in the frying pan hi we'll get them sizzling straight away no you don't sizzle spring onion nobody says so spring onion if you cook spring onion now it will wilt it wilt this should be garlic first step should be garlic this first three step all wrong already i thought you professional chef you have website and everything uncle roger don't even have website and uncle roger know you up and then oh my gosh this is not going well at all what is going on i've got some packet pre-cooked rice yes you can cook your packet this guy owns so many restaurants and he still can't be bothered to make his own rice packet rice imagine if you go to japanese restaurant and you ask for noodle and the chef gives you instant noodle that is what this guy is doing rice white rice 12 minutes but for stir-fried rice you have to drain it and chill it uh i'm trying to justify why it's doing packet rice and i can see why because the the market in general for james oliver would be for caucasian or people that don't have rice cookers at home so i can kind of justify that compared to being like why is there not a rice cooker because a lot of people don't have a rice cooker if you don't invest in one and it's not like a huge popular thing in general populations i don't know you have to chill it he correct but don't don't drain rice uncle roger made a whole video 12 million view now of antihersha draining rice don't drain rice but chill rice correct 45 second in first thing he got correct so for me that feels like a good cheek you can hear it sizzling you hear sizzling i hear my ancestors crying it's hot it's furious we're just gonna toss it around right then oh uncle roger i don't like the look of this i think it's doing okay i mean from the beginning it was going bad but it looks somewhat like fried rice he's taking ingredients from this drawer and this drawer looks so white because asian ingredients never come in jar you ever notice that asian ingredients always come in plastic bag or bad packaging if your packaging look this nice nice jar nice bag over there that is not asian ingredient next ingredient i have this in my home all the time now chili jam it's what i tell you it's not asian ingredient what he doing with chili jam let's see brilliant for cooking it's got heat but it's also got the sweetness and it's gonna come oh no it's like putting a sweet chili oil in your food girl don't neglect no no no no no no no no putting jam in one this is disgusting who put gem first of all what is chili jam uncle roger no fresh chili chili oil chili flake never heard of chili jam is this how you treat white people to eating chili you give them fresh chili they go no no no i don't actually like chili give them chili jam and they go oh oh my gosh have you guys tried chili jam before because that's like literally the first time i've ever heard of chili jam leaf jam is so weird thing to use jamie do you know about sriracha this is asian chili just use this no need to use jam what are you gonna put in there next peanut butter okay why do you go bake p b and j egg fried rice how many think can a chef get wrong in one weejo hi yeah two nice teaspoons go in to our pan and then just start tossing again it tossed very pope but he tossed all the wrong stuff all style no oh by the way fun fact you know that sriracha actually hasn't done any marketing they just do it through word of mouth how crazy is that also this looks this does not look like fried rice it looks way too green substance that'll start to coat every single rice grain and it'll shine in the most beautiful way and then just give it a little splash of water wait what what no in the middle of cooking you put water oh no we're having the same reaction if your rice too wet you up but if your rice too dry you're also up at this stage just push the rice up the side of the pan like that and then straight into the middle we're going to crack in two beautiful yeah i feel like it tastes so off like having just green stuff no oil or olive oil and jam like with water that tastes so weird for free range eggs okay okay the egg look good egg look good and then it's time for the last ingredient which again to a lot of people he reaching for that shelf again uncle roger don't think it's gonna end well uncle roger just don't like that shelf i think it's wrong shelf for egg fire right maybe during filming they put the wrong shelf there and jamie's like oh you bought the wrong shelf what i do now and the filming people are like we don't care just use whatever i feel like uncle rod is so popular because his reactions are so dramatic like they make it even funnier the shelf people is a bit of a new ingredient tofu top firm silken tofu tofu why are your tofu in juice box who makes a tofu capri sun when uncooked asian market always come in plastic bag plastic seal wrapping no tofu look like juice box what are you going to poke straw and drink your tofu 50 grams and what you can do is just break this up no no no oh my god that's so weird what on earth a silk insert oh my goodness this this is it's like when you're playing um as a kid you play with it and then you add like the grass and water and you just mix all together it just feels like it's that kind of energy with this video customer this video so many sad things happening he wastes the spring onion he wet the rice and now he tear apart the tofu like paper i don't know if i am not a fan i really expected more from jamie oliver but this is so weird to me like nero stop uncle roger can go on this depression is too much i want chunks of egg and i want little bits so the nice thing about this stir-fried rice is it's kind of random yeah random what'd he say the nice thing about this stir-fried rice is it's kind of random random is not compliment you make food for your fan one day and your fans say why your food so random and jaime say oh my god so random gonna start restaurant i agree this is so random for once all three of us agree with the same thing season with a little salt give it a little toss salt again no msg but ankura to talk about msg too many weejo now mix it all up and then we're ready to serve get a bowl put a little oil this guy loves olive oil like how auntie hersh i love colin he put olive oil on everything do you shower with olive oil also don't go get massage from jamie oliver he will put olive oil in your bowl most dishes and that kind of street food which is beautiful it's often associated with being unhealthy this i mean it actually looks pretty decent i wouldn't say no if i look good i'll be like oh it looks like like semi-asian fried rice i will probably still eat it no offense has been made to be healthy if by healthy you mean disgusting then jamie you are right you could have that as a meal i think it's the time to have a little this rice looks so wet look at this you can see your reflection inside mulan is going to start singing when you see this rice so silky and delicious looks fantastic and it's really good fun to make jamie is professional chef all the step he messed up i feel like that would taste so boring and i don't think it's healthy like you have rice um spring onions chili jam oil and eggs like that's not healthy and i think it'll taste good as well does this guy hate rice or something what else have he done with rice oh this guy i think he just hate rice in general maybe he's sponsored by potato company uncle roger don't like this jamie
