familiar sights and sounds from last year's services i'm thrilled to have you welcome sharon and bob miller i've known them and their wonderful family for years and they've always been so supportive you by the abuse of power for all these o god of mercy forgive us pardon us grant us atonement the sin we have committed against you by hardening our hearts the sin we have committed against you by profaning your name the sin we have committed against you by disrespect for parents and teachers the sin we have committed against you by speaking slander the sin we have committed against you by dishonesty in our work and the sin we have committed against you by hurting others in any way for all these o god of mercy forgive us pardon us grant us atonement shimakolenu says hear our voices god amplify our prayers let's take a moment and if you feel comfortable close your eyes take a deep breath bring your awareness to your heart to your divine human heart think of someone or something that makes your heart open wide maybe it's a beloved pet a baby a favorite flower with each breath allow your heart to bloom and to shine with each breath let your heart become brighter like a lighthouse generously sharing light with all who need it see if you can allow your heart to become even brighter more open as we share this light with those who can use our prayers feel free to say their names
