I only started watching basketball around 2014, and so my favorite player was (and still is) Stephen Curry, who was rising to prominence at that time. But my cousin (who's one year younger than me) has always been watching nba since the 2000s, and his favorite player was Kobe. While I have never watched any games that Kobe has played in (only highlights), I still understand just how talented this player is, and just how much of an impact he has left to the NBA and to people all around the world. It saddens me greatly to know that such a phenomenal person - a great player, great father, great person, with great work ethics, has met with such an unfortunate accident. My condolences are with his family, and may he and Gianna rest in peace.
