right waiting the ecology to pepperiness them anyway they were married our pleasure to welcome them back now as newlyweds Kirk Cameron Oh Chelsea Noble [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I could remember when Kirk used to come on the show with his mother yeah but a couple of times in the background Chelsea would just happen to be here so we knew the things in the later stages of one of the career yeah well so we check out the ring first oh yeah he designed it too yeah look how that soon after you started dating did you know that you wanted to marry this lady oh gosh pretty soon after I mean it was it wasn't too long six months or so let's go right to the beginning she joined the show while it was in progress right right right so did you notice her right away well how could miss did you say mama did you say mommy look good good remember I came on the Cinnabon how many years ago was occurred I came at visited to school in the schoolroom we did the huh each I was 15 15 15 didn't join the show - what two years ago right three years Donna's just reoccurring character yeah by then you were what 19 had pulsating reads they set the stage I apologize so then what happened Kirk you notice Chelsea well we'd work together for Oh a few months before and then we just kind of hit it off and became real good friends did you ask it started I mean you're working with someone I'm kind of what I would I was a little nervous I think at first and I would kind of ask her to go out with me and a whole bunch of friends all right you know so it was like a good plan yeah I think women and then if she ever said yes I'd be happy to go then I'd call up all my friends and invite come on guys you got a community that told you oh you got her involved first right yeah you should come yeah but we just spend a lot of time just talking with each other and I think the thing that happened was we just found that we we had the same values and especially in that town in that business some are just real life it's hard to find something to do who really lives for the same things and you've always been very close to your family and you upstate New York yeah what's her labor that time chica taco cheektowaga chick one of the places you've never played read yes Buffalo but we were there this past summer yeah yeah ton of wonder we were it so was it a formal proposal here did you formally ask this woman for our hand in marriage yeah I just I come from the kind of place we get married once yeah and it I wanted to make sure that I did it right because I was only gonna do it once so I got down on my knee you got on a knee oh yeah I don't see what way did this happen oh I've been through see the worst I have a little fun with this or not the weight of the night it was that on my favorite restaurant it's a an old Inn near where I live outside of Buffalo and it was after Christmas and before New Year's you were spending the Christmas holiday spirit was there now there were there are other people on the restaurant you've got on an eat in the restaurant you didn't invite him the waitress must have been alarmed something he ate know that people had cleared out yeah pretty much the only ones left is another two but also don't you always feel that people love love people love to see only see something like that in a restaurant you start to cry I went to an airport and people are kissing goodbye you cry I thought I look I go up to my car you gonna be all right and you cross the world she bothers a lot of people trying to say goodbye to one another and she's got a nose right in so they didn't say yes right away yes just like that there was no Christ well no and then you went home and told your parents well they all knew she knew so their way you gotta make it formal right I had my oh yeah absolutely now had your dad passed away at this time Chelsea yes so you didn't couldn't ask you heard dad right so did you go to my mom my brother my best man in the wedding oh is that right yeah oh that's terrific and what was it like planning for the wedding and getting it done oh it's like a bar right now terribly exciting and exotic and once once we were married it was so much a big relief and you didn't have a time for a big honeymoon you went to a little Inn in Vermont no go to Vermont and we started the show Kurt the first episode was a week after the wedding but it was really nice we went up to Vermont what mountain biking and a little cozy end up in Vermont Oh Bob Newhart's yeah they're everywhere it's charming so now has it affected the way you act together in the stores because in the series of course you're not married right what's it like to be married and yet to be flirting with one another in the series and carrying on at all it's a lot I mean it's it's great because it's kind of a you're able to kind of look back on knowing how you used to feel not used to feel but how [Laughter] stayed right out of that when I get serious then I lay up because I know better no we don't exactly in the beginning and you can kind of look back and say oh gosh I remember that feeling so well and it's something that you can really relate to I think it just brings a sense of reality to your characters are characters are very different than we are in some ways but it really it gives a lot of life to playing those characters because there is a chemistry you know there is something real and so it it makes it more exciting for us and hopefully for people who are watching they see something between Kate and Mike that is believable you know it's real sure this year on I just want to say that this year on the show Kate and Mike are definitely a lot more together than they were in the last couple they're in love at this point right it was on again off again this year work together and it's a lot more serious and we're also gonna be on Saturday night so if people want to tune in and see us no Saturday night they're moving into Saturday nights right it may be added they've added up a new character Leonardo DiCaprio who a homeless key right and he's he's wonderful he's really great and new writers and producers and there's new like an alright I'll still they're still there now what do you do about the ring when you know you're acting in the part of a single walk because you've made a vow to one another not to take your wedding rings off right wait if we felt that it just means everything to have a wedding ring on and I we didn't want to take it off if we didn't have to so we just unfortunately were able to cover it up and the cameras couldn't see it so what masking paper was pin about a clear gloves a lot it's cold in Vermont like kinda gold band aid oh we come back we're gonna take a look at the clip from the show and visit some more we'll be right back with the Kirk and Chelsea still crying post with the wedding pictures and follow that right yeah we haven't even seen our wedding picture we've got them still in little negative form yeah did the paparazzi basically spoiled the day for you cuz I know you went to great pains growing pains to to make sure that it was as private in this do they find you when she kataka oh yeah they did yeah Alan conversation they weren't bad and I thought my brother was gonna you know kill some people the first day but he calmed down and we sort of talked to some of the people who would come in and just asked if they wouldn't mind if they took pictures but if they could just be respectful of you the ceremony itself and we had no problems I mean it was pretty yeah people it was really no problem at all what about your fans how do you know he had legions of his young girls you know girls wearing baseball hats us at alleycat what do you think how do how do they feel about this they're losing you Kirk well no no no no you know I think most everyone that I've talked to his it couldn't be happier really I mean I think yeah I feel like because I was on the show there's a lot of support um they really liked our characters together we got really positive mal I was kind of scared at first of what the reaction would be about on I think they kind of got to know us together and everybody's just been very supportive and happy for you yeah like you said people I think people love to see love so I think definitely now do you gonna have a big family how many kids you think seven eight maybe 900 talka there's a lot of there's nothing I could think of that I would love to be more than that I'd an other than a husband and doing that or fewer change better that they've been a few yeah we're gonna just enjoy this time right now and see what happens we have travel plans and just kind of enjoy being married right now well should we take a look at a clip now in this season you are teaching huh right how do you at a youth center Mike's volunteered teaching at this Center and Chelsea still acting now in this particular scene Chelsea has pulled Kirk out of the class he's teaching to get his opinion on what she should wear come on why don't we roll that David [Applause] isn't it funny how the man changes his tastes about what she wears yeah you got a movie coming out this this year as well right it's called honor bright and it's a movie for television it's gonna be honest you did together right yes we weren't planning on doing anything before the wedding I really needed that time but um this script came along um it's just so heartwarming and we read it and we just there's no way we have to do that's real special story it's like a hallmark type Christmas story oh great so it'll be on a Christmas time obviously yes or no now we know that you guys like to cook because it's how you do right so Gilman has run out Gilman always looking at very small expensed yeah Thelma found these out of sale in the somebody schoolyard is something I don't know but anyway we want you to wear this apron from now on you don't have to admit this is a yeah yeah and that's a real nice addition to their website sure you guys may have gotten probably thousands of dollars worth of gifts and this is our contribution to their happiness what do we have oh this is what you wear all the time when you cook how tasteful now why would she'll see want hair on her chest that's like an Elvis thing it is Elvis cilia and here's your little mitt where is the romance in your soul and that's the best we could do I guess how now are you giving your own presence yes this is something that Gelman got thank you I think passing it on here anyway guys thanks so much everybody's really happy for you
