- Today, we're gonna draw love. (romantic jazz music) Have either of you ever been in love before? - Uh no. - I haven't. - I go to school everyday with lots of people I love. - Do you love Ethan? - Yes. - And do you love Helena? - Not really. Sometimes she'll be mean to me. - Have you ever been in love Koji? - Yeah I've been in love. Yeah. Couple times. - With who? - With a girlfriend. - What was it like? - It's pretty weird. It's like you feel tingly. Butterflies and stuff you know? - This is gonna be hard. - I'm thinking of hugs. - Of hugs? - For love. - Okay. So that's like, here's one person and here's another person. - Just emoji head. - Oh like an emoji head that's like doing. What's the face like? Meh? Like that kind of? - Yeah. - [Interviewer] What part of the body is love? - The blah blah. - Can you point where the blah blah would be on my body. - Right here. - It's right where? - There. - There? I think that's where your intestine is. So that looks like that. In your stomach. - I love burgers and fries. - Burgers and fries? Okay we'll make some burgers and fries around this heart. What do your friends look like? - The one I really love has curly hair. - Oh okay. So we want curly hair. - Curly short hair. - What do you think love sounds like? - Because I'm scared of it. - What's so scary about love? - Plop, plop, plop, plop, plop. - So they're like little bubbles? - Yeah and when it pops whoever is near them is in love. - [Interviewer] Who do you think is blowing the bubbles? - Cupid. Like when he has his bow and arrow and then shoots it and whoever hits it is the first person they think love. - Oh cupid. - It's like a baby with little wings. - If love were a food. Ernie, what do you think it would be? - A lollipop with a scorpion inside it. - A scorpion looks like that right? - Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. - What do you think it feels like to be in love? - Like I'm marrying someone right that second. - It makes my whole body all red and stuff. - It's Sprite. - Okay, Sprite comes in a can then right? - Yeah. Because it makes me tickle. - And is that what love feels like? - Yeah. - Yeah if love were a season what do you think it would be? - Spring. - Spring? - I mean Fall. Because you get to see all the leaves falling. Leaves kind of have designs on them. Sometimes kind of like coats. - If love was a shape what do you think it would be? - A heart. - Like a real heart? - Yes. - Like the kind we have in our bodies? - Yeah. - So I think it's kind of like that. Right? Does that seem right to you guys? - No. - No? - [Interviewer] This is what a really heart looks like. - Ew it's gross. - Did you make that a broken heart? - No it's thunder. - Oh, it's thunder. Why did you put thunder on the heart? - Because thunder scares me. Are you scared of love? - No I don't think so. I don't think love is anything to be scared of. - It is really. - It is really scary? - Yeah. - Do you love your mommy? Your daddy? Or Spiderman the most. - Daddy. - Daddy. - You think mommy's face looks happy? - [Ernie's father] She looks real happy. - No she doesn't. She looks angry because I chose you. Or I could love mommy. - [Ernie's father] You're playing games with our hearts buddy. - I like both of you. Mommy and my daddy. - Mommy and daddy. - Yeah. - What do you think of that? - Good. - Good do you wanna show the camera? You can tell them what we just drew. - Yeah. - Okay. - This is what love is. - Cupid and my mom fell in love and now my dad's running away. - I'm scared. - Love is a lollipop with a scorpion! - [Interviewer] Ernie do you love Koji? - Yeah. He's awesome. - You're awesome. - I love you Ethan. - I love you Helena. - I love you mom. - [Mother] I love you. - [Father] You gotta say it back. - I already said it to you. - Hey I'm Koji the illustrator thanks for watching.
