Kick & Ban Embeds | Discord.js v12 tutorials

hello guys welcome back to another video today and in this video we're just gonna make our band clear and kick command embeds so make sure to watch the previous video and i'm going to be uploading one video per week so let's get into this sleuth the first thing we're going to do is we're going to do our band command so we got to make four embeds for this so simply what we can do we can come up here do a const capital d for discord equals require parentheses use discord.js now we got our main factor done so we can do we can do um for the author we can do const yourself your equals new discord dot message embed parentheses now we can do set description parentheses now we can do you can not kick yourself we can quickly format it and it's gonna work so we can inside of the if author or we can delete everything inside these parentheses and we can do your now we can quickly just copy this and we can paste it four more times so one two three four formatted again now we need to name them different so we can do ban not in and mention so ban in nope ban this cannot use this because it's not we can do that that should work yep then we can do guild right here yep we can do yield right there and we can do mention right on the bottom one now what you want to do is you want to come right here we can copy this delete it we can put it in this one right here now this is the i cannot ban that member where did go sorry guys all right it's right here so we can for this one we can do it's going to be ban now in this one we can copy everything delete it and this one's going to be that so we can paste it right there now right here where we deleted it we can put that and the word that right there now we can copy all this delete it now in this one we can paste it i need to quickly just put in the parentheses we need to delete that so we need to modify it a bit all right there we go that works now so we can do guild rates here now we need to copy this paste in here oh paste it in there and then we can put mention right here now our band command is done so now we can just quickly copy all this since it's same for our kick command so we can come down here now we need to do const discord equals require parentheses discord.js now you cannot kick yourself [Music] all right so in our band command this needs to be banned now we can go back to our kick command now you cannot kick that member 666 alright successfully kicked that user is not in guild to kick now our kick command is done almost we got a copyright here well we can delete this but it's your this one is successfully kicked so it's this one and it's going to be that and i cannot kick that member it's going to be ban or we can change it to kick doesn't matter then mess this one which is that user isn't in this guild it's going to be guild now the last one which is this one right here we can do mention now just for the time of this video so it goes a little bit quicker i'm just doing one word but it is severely better if you do like for this one new embed or it can be like just something like your embed it's just a lot better to do it that way i'm just doing it like your all just one word so it's a lot easier but i do recommend doing it where it's like your embed like i'll show you what i mean so we can do it like this right here where it says embed at n because it's a lot easier to do it like that like that now we need to come up here and do yours so we're going to quickly do that with band also so your band that guild mention now we need to do your user that ban guild now it's a lot easier to read after we do mention there now for the last one which is clear it's going to be kind of same it's going to be the exact same so we can do cons discord because require now we can do um um const amount embed equals equals new discord dot message embed there we go now we can do set description is going to be right here so we can just copy this paste it in now we can copy this right here paste three more times so one two three it's gonna be one more then one more sorry about that now that we got that done this needs to be changed to real embed max embed least embed then it needs to be success embed can be lower case doesn't really matter now that we got all that pretty sure that is all yep that is also we can delete that last one right here now we just want to copy this one i'm making up the words by going to what the message says so this one it's gonna be real embed you can name it whatever you want though i'm just doing it based off the text it says in the message now this one needs to come right here now we need to do this one and paste it right here now all we have to do to come up to the very top one this is a mount embed this one right here is real embed right here is max embed this one is least embed and then this one is success embed now they are all three of these are done it's going to be the same process for all you got to find discord then you could you can just do concept name right here equals new discord embed then set description whatever you really want so we can quickly save this restart a bot and go over to discord now we can start doing all of our things so the first thing we're going to do is our clear so we need to do all four errors then the real one so clear high then clear zero clear 200 then clear now we can do clear 10 oh clear 10. there we go now successfully deleted undefined so now that's going to be a issue so we can just copy this the success embed and since it needs to be underneath here and enter here and paste it right there now we can save it clear and redo our restart about we can do clear 10. now it will work now we need to do our kick so our kick command is gonna have a total of four errors also so we can do kick all right so we get an error right here tag is undefined so we like the previous one we can copy it now we can come underneath here we can just right this one is the that embed so we can just come right here and paste it now we can clear and we need to do the same thing for our band command i'm right around here format it save and restart robot now we can do kick ban ban viper so that did not work because we need to move it down user embed is not defined for our band line 26 user embed so we moved that embed your band guild mention you're [Music] sorry guys i'm trying to figure this out what i changed it to because i'm not okay so looks like i accidentally changed to that so con member equals message.guild.member so that just me needs to be like that clear there okay now it should work there that user is not killed perfect kick viper all right same thing for the other one maybe yeah it's the same thing for the other one for some reason i did user embed which i don't get why it's doing why i did that but yeah it just needs to be the same for this one quickly do that and then there now it all should be working so we did those two errors now we need to do we did that one that one works that works that works now we need to just do and ban now we can do kick that person quickly invite them back because i know they're going to be wondering why i kicked the oh wait no did not kick them did i kick them no it did not so all right let me quickly figure out the problem and i'll be right back okay guys so a few things i've found out my problem here needs to be user and then ban right here an hp user also but what i also did is i moved every single const embed to their spot so now we can save these both after my mistake and now what we can do is mean to kick at my friend now it he's kicked so i'm gonna quickly invite him back so i'll be right back now that he is back we're going to do the ban on him ban hammer on him oh wait nope sorry ban that's there now that he's banned there he is unban his user or no all right i forgot but we haven't made that yet that'll be next video so we need to manually come back to here revoke ban and i'll quickly invite him back
