typing officer down oh we're back okay I'm gonna help me do we lose like eight million people I'm sorry it's my first day guys it's my first day not everything is gonna go smoothly guys oh my god we're back should I go back to Ableton speed hold on the media my little thing way back we're back so guys tell me this if that happens to me if my [ __ ] comes down like y'all are still in the chat and then if and I come back on and you're like everything straight it's not I got to start a new one per se okay I'm sorry um where was I what was my last words I don't even remember that I thought I just ruined I was like me and I'm verify me what was the last thing I was saying we about to cook up make good music okay okay the point is I want to dispel all this [ __ ] about like my beats aren't good enough if I use the loop or I'm not a real producer if I [ __ ] got something from somebody else or I'd use this let me tell you what a real producer does a real producer does whatever the [ __ ] they can to make the best song possible if you're in the room with the artist and you have enough like of an advantage to listen to what they're saying and have them telling you [ __ ] in this and that like then you really really got to do anything you can to bring the people who can do [ __ ] that you can't do to the table so for me if I'm sitting with someone and especially if it's someone impatient or somebody who cut down I don't have a lot of time with and charge your laptop I got 66% shut up for me if I'm with someone who's impatient and I got to make them something real quick yes I'm gonna reach for a loop obviously cuz if I sit there and scroll through presets or scroll through a bunch of different sounds and this and that wine it'll either distract them and they won't know what they want or - it'll just bore them and me trying to figure out which omnisphere bank I need to load up to play this melody that's the amount of time you could lose interest you know what I mean so if you pull up a loop real quick in two thousand 18 or 19 you would just pull up a flew real fast and then put a two eights under it and put a clap on it and it's like okay boom they're interested boom they're [ __ ] with it so for me I think using a loop or using something that it's just one tool you know I mean I've been playing instruments my whole life but do I play guitar and all my beats know do I call guitar players to come play on my [ __ ] a lot of the time yes I picked the best tool for the job and so if you're making a beat with a loop is it gonna be the most interesting thing you've ever made or is it gonna show people how good your melodies are and either [ __ ] no not necessarily but he's probably gonna get the job done way faster then you're trying to figure out a chord change when you only got 10 minutes so now that we've thrown all that [ __ ] mindset out of the way about it's not good enough for it's boring or this or that when you are making a beat with a sample or a loop or this or that you got to keep it interesting so the point about keeping it interesting is say I got a simple sound and I got three or four drum sounds how the [ __ ] do I make this so someone doesn't want to turn it off after they've heard it 50 times because the best-case scenario is you play a beat for someone and they like your beat right so then they're gonna put it on and then you're gonna write to it or they're gonna start punching in right away and if they sit there and gotta listen to that beat a hundred times 150 times like it better have some variation to it it better not just be those that same drum loop with that same sample or no drums drums blah blah blah that's gonna get boring and it's gonna get old and they're not gonna feel as confident about what they're doing because it's gonna be too repetitive so if we're making a beat that that's simple I'm gonna just start with something from my computer how do we keep it interesting I'm gonna make something real quick and then I'm gonna take you through what I would do and by the way I don't [ __ ] know the answers I don't have a system this [ __ ] doesn't work necessarily I'm just telling you what I think I really think that there's ways and there's tools and there's little things you can do to keep [ __ ] fire for three minutes at least with very few sounds you know Nina I don't think there's anything [ __ ] wrong with that I think it's a tool you got to have in your back pocket like the what's the biggest song I produced in 2019 toes 4d baby that beat was I about seven eight minutes to make that beat you can ask cash money ap the story Cash Money ap was standing four feet away from me the whole time we were in there we were playing beats back and forth and he was like no I just want you to cook up so he started cooking up the cash money was playing some loops he was doing some drums now I was playing some loops doing some drums whatever and I went by this one whistle sample the whistle from toes he heard he was like yeah that's it put that in there did the initial 808 pattern and it was the just that 808 and I think it's a rim I can't remember if it's like a wood block but it's some [ __ ] like that I just did the initial pattern and then I did one other 808 with a clap so there was like this one 808 with a rim another 808 with a clap and that's pretty much all I had and Cash Money started to do some headphones and he was like now who did that as too much and we both looked at each other we were like okay I guess he doesn't want anything on this beat and that beat was about four or five minutes into making it he was like okay load it up that's the biggest song I did last year we could talk about all these cool things and all these other projects if you want to talk about numbers and what works I made a thing off a whistle loop of my homie whistling and we had about six minutes to make it so don't dispel using something no splice doesn't make you a piece of [ __ ] no cuz your friend play the keys and you didn't play the keys you not the best producer you know I mean like just do what you have to do in the moment to make the best thing you can for somebody and a lot of times if you can get this out of your mind that you're not doing the right thing or you're not doing something that's good enough for this or that your creative process is gonna be way easier you shouldn't have a lot of rules for yourself when you open up Ableton for the first time because that shit's gonna make you not want to create if you can't use this hi-hat and you can't use loops and you can't do this on this it's your melodies like [ __ ] all that [ __ ] who's the best person for the job what's the best thing I need today you know I mean that's it I'm not gonna do the right thing changing my preference I'm working at 10:24 cuz [Music] was papi what's my favorite bar in that and Jack song is uh I we used to share a connection never liked it then wearing stretchy yeah I love that you go to the you go to the Jack Harlow what's poppin video and the first comment on it is what's it called it's like came here to hate left impressed I love that okay we got a little simple I don't know why I always pitch it down people talk about this on the cave and I make a beat I literally just like it's more interesting to me when I change the pitch so right when I drag something in I usually change the pitch but also what I'm thinking about is what we were just talking about this at the normal pitch at zero that sounds cool but say I want to go to a different part of the beat and I want to do this later in the beat I want to bring it down an octave or I want to do the opposite bring it up an octave that's normally why I pitched it you see how the high one feels a little artifact being kind of shitty and weird the low one was fine if I take it and I move the whole sample down three down four down five semitones then when I pitch it up an octave it's not so tinny and harsh and this and that that's really why I do it cuz I know whatever I'm using especially if it's a loop especially if it's on the cave especially if it's one of these type of things I'm gonna hear that same sample a million times so I'm definitely gonna use octaves that's gonna be the first thing I think of so let's say we just do that minus four so then when we go an octave up which is eight still a little shitty but not as bad and we could process it okay so now let's say we got these two sections we got it octave up and got octave down first thing I'm gonna do probably is just process the sample a little bit so it's not so corny obviously everyone I'm gonna go RC 20 so maybe I'll just try a different one I really like this cassette [ __ ] that's the first one I'm giving you I mean move it over so you can [ __ ] see it it's called cassette it's Bob waves Factory this is the first piece of game I know a lot of you [ __ ] know a lot of you don't know it and we're still using the RC 20 so let's start it for the beginner beginners I just like to set cuz it's not RC 20 there's a million different ways you can take process I used to use J 37 and do a bunch of other [ __ ] RC 20 isotope vinyl there's a bunch of different ones but really when a lot of people use the same plug-in or whatever for a bunch of different months you start to hear it and it starts to sound like RC 20 so really cassette even though all you [ __ ] ready ass producers in the comments already know about it average kid is barely even on RC 20 if that this is the one I'm [ __ ] right now Melo my harsh is going to be the perfect preset which is the first preset for [ __ ] this high one because obviously it's harsh it's really over [ __ ] took out a lot of that bull [ __ ] I might nama leave the spread [ __ ] up spread is with and when I say spread I'm just talking about this button right here that's the width that's if it's all the way over here in the stereo or it's just right here in the middle of the speaker by the way if you feel like you're the you're the go and you only came here to learn how to make melodies or record guitars or do vocal processing all that [ __ ] I'm gonna get into the crazy [ __ ] once the subscribers and all that starts if you subscribe to me then I know you're here for beat breakdowns and beat reviews and this [ __ ] in that [ __ ] that's when we're gonna go super in detail this is my first stream we're gonna keep it light if you mad that you already know what Cosette is stupid and then just drag this bar down so that they can see your your your transposition oh you can't see that that's really low sorry I'll do it for y'all is that better you can see there now okay boom another thing I noticed what people's beats a lot um people are doing [ __ ] like master Chainz putting limiters on their master Channel Pro l whatever the [ __ ] I don't think the answer is to make your beats really loud if they're not loud the answer to me is let me make every beat as loud as Ableton or fruity loops or whatever your program is let me make every be as loud as I possibly and so the way I work is I turned my speakers up pretty [ __ ] high so [ __ ] sounds big to me but at the same time like I can see like okay these samples right here at minus-9 that's not gonna give me enough room for my 808 it's just not like I'm gonna bring this down literally to over here and I still know especially from the producer who gave me this keyboard - 14 - 15 I'm still gonna be able to hear these pianos super [ __ ] well when my 808 comes in and my 8 away it's gonna be the biggest thing by far so now that I turn that down so much I need some love on my speakers but make sure like whenever you play your beat and your beat is completely finished and you got all your drums in it the loudest part of your beat shouldn't be in the red but it should be right there you should see this little bottom part of the master sound like you should see over here like just about in the red when you play it you know what I mean it should be like right at the top then you know you're getting as much out of your DW as possible and you don't need to put a limiter or some other [ __ ] in your beats whenever your beats get played trust me there's gonna be speakers okay just to [ __ ] get something in here to account gonna do a quick hat I'm really on this four intact Cash Money kit this week because my name is in it and they made a Kenney beats 808 but the problem is the [ __ ] Kenney beats anyway is the worst 808 in the pack and four intact [ __ ] set me a DM trolling me let me show you real quick cuz I hit him up and I was like oh thanks for including me but I was kind of like why is my 808 so weak listen how bad my 808 is like the [ __ ] that's my 808 like I couldn't get like this one you know they mean that couldn't be the Kenny 808 like this is the Kenny 808 the fun soul is evokes more intact except me in the do have me honestly mad cuz I know people gonna hear this 808 be like is that really the one kin uses and that's just garbage bro but regardless I really like their kid there's a lot of [ __ ] in it and I wouldn't just say that I really just like it a lot by the way I don't do this all the time I'm not a weird OCD about it but you don't you Tunney 808 it's not the only thing you know what I mean like your snare can be in tune your hi-hat can be in tune it's exact but when it is sometime it kind of kind of sits tips what is that cheer so we just cheer me on okay like that typing I know yard that typing that was come on give me a little love for the role that was hard I was just I always I don't know why I do this bout we just play in a basic pattern to start with so we got something easy honestly when I'm when I do high patterns I don't know what I'm really thinking about I'm just trying to give myself a couple random little like rhythmic things to jump off of I usually will go back at the end and like edit my hats or like take certain roles out or certain pieces but like I always give myself just like a couple random things in the Hat pattern when I start honestly if you look at the Hat sample in the [ __ ] window in the bottom you see right here how it starts right when it [ __ ] starts that means your hats not really bouncing like that if you look in the [ __ ] sample you see how far the sample is off the grid you don't need to match your sample but you can see like there's a little bit of distance there that means it's kind of leaned behind the beat so it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to maybe take your hat back a little bit I like my hat back even more probably in the sample but now listen where it sits if you can hear the difference so yes that whole pattern is back a little bit just it's it's a little better if the sample was leaning forward and the sample was a head I might just put it on cuz then it's gonna still be behind the sample and they're gonna have a little friction but not too much you know what I mean you want to have some bounce in your beats especially when they're these simple ass beats which is [ __ ] trap drums in them or whatever you know they have to have a little pocket you can also do that over here what's the [ __ ] [ __ ] this thing people like doing this thing over here I don't really [ __ ] with that thing I don't know I just it's not because it doesn't work or anything I just don't use it it confuses me I always forget about it it's weird most people do a clap or something I'm just gonna do an 808 pattern just because it keeps it interesting for me oh yeah I'm supposed to FaceTime Jetson during this log because he has something to send me but I don't know what the [ __ ] it was [Music] I don't know I just hear it in my head and I just [ __ ] let's talk drum selection let's talk snare selection let's talk why you pick us out you pick if you're working with a certain person and you know they're comfortable in a certain set of sounds the first beat you make for them the first thing you make in front of them or whatever you might stick to a sound palette or a kit or whatever you know kind of works for them but in general if I'm sitting here and I'm making a beat and it's not for anyone specific and I'm just figuring it out I'm always trying to pick something that's gonna be interesting right now who is cheering me I don't even know what that means I'm always gonna try to pick something that the first time someone hears that snare come into the first time some here's the 808 or that kick or whatever it gets a reaction and if it's a typical peer clap wheezy clap metro clap something you gotta offer edit that is from a big [ __ ] song you know or whatever it might work cuz it'll make them comfortable but it's not gonna garner a crazy reaction so you don't ever sit here and [ __ ] pick snares for two hours trying to get something weird for no reason but if you're scrolling kits and you find something interesting it's like put a note on it remember what it is and you don't I mean use it in the second half of a beat or whatever put on top of one of those boring claps and it might just be like the thing in your beat that stands out [Music] [Music] yeah I'm gonna break my [ __ ] that shit's annoying by itself but watch I guarantee with it's gonna be interesting I stop stacking drums for a long time I was just picking the best sample I could and using a sample at a time when I would make beats like this but honestly over time I've been stacking my drums again just to get textures that people don't have or just to someone said that clap is Ashley your [ __ ] twitch account is Ashley let me be bro it's my first day can I just [ __ ] stupid I'm really just using that weird that Hasbro stated to a she clap I'm gonna use that as like my reverb for this bigger snare so then they just kind of hit together and no I'm not gonna swing these the way I swung the hats for now I'm just gonna leave them how they are so I could see how the kick moves with them and this and that and then we'll start doing alright so once you have the basic loop which I'm not quite at yet but I'm almost at once you have the basic blueprint start talking about sequencing and more processing and transitions and how to make this boring loop turn into something somebody's gonna walk or it's gonna feel good for somebody why that sheers turn the cheers off very sweet calm stupid okay okay okay okay I'm gonna just make myself intro right now because I'm feeling bored with it already for my intro obviously it's like the same thing but let's just pick something different let's go change the spread maybe make your mono take this [ __ ] down and you already know whatever time I'm on yeah I'm putting seagulls in the intro say something to me how many plaques you got okay then we're leaving the seagulls okay okay [Music] already I don't like my pattern so instantly I just want to edit my pattern because it's not coming in how I need it to [Music] [Music] [Music] so kind of get my pattern right you see how it kind of changed up right here and I just found this extra pattern or something that I have before started falling together I'm gonna take that pattern I'm gonna just make that the second half so now really there's an A and B section to this beat so where when this should come in it's a different drum energy than when this come in so really this whole loop too long so let's just get rid of some time [Music] [Music] starting to find I think for me when like patterns are really simple and patterns are really easy the first thing that I know is going to get a reaction that if someone is where you leave your drum drops where you leave your pauses obviously any [ __ ] fourteen-year-old with a splice account can come make this pattern real quick do a little 808 roll whatever the [ __ ] I think where you leave a snare out where you leave a hat out where you drop your 808 pattern completely all those little things start to be the pockets you know what I mean we not in this to make the gnarliest pattern we're not in this to make [ __ ] like shock someone with how crazy you know what I mean our 808 mill my fault I'm sorry twits stupid all right let's get back to what is a cheer bro what I did so loud cuz I got to speak I got to [ __ ] up so every time stop what do you mean money why are y'all people just keep cheering and it's louder than the because I got the speakers up so loud so every time someone shows me that [ __ ] hurts my stuff is that everything on Twitch has a weird term for it if it was money it would just say money what do you mean Cheers what is cuz it doesn't say Tony gift it Oh let me just my on Ableton screen okay boom boom boom can we change the noise with it like the sound that the cheers gives or something odd it sounds like a [ __ ] flip phone text tone oh that's the same one eros God if I could use the cheer as a sample I would somebody send me the Semyon m4a you guys love that [ __ ] whoa no no no wait till someone does it that's so funny that's not even the real one oh my god that's so annoying that you play in there they're doing it that's so awful I'm not now you can't leave that there is this to annoy if I'm trying to do make a B and that keeps coming up what's that noise what was that I'm pitching my [ __ ] hat sample to this for you what about an effects sound I'm big on effects sounds on the one don't do them too often do that [ __ ] like every 16 bars or something like that you don't need to be doing of like a big room or some stomp or whatever the [ __ ] every single one you know you mean every four bars where do you look for effects in my experience the best effects even the best perk and [ __ ] it always comes from some weirdo SoundCloud Paul do y'all know hope let me show you look how long my Ambro if I even move my foot a little bit I can stop cheering if I if I even move my foot a little bit I kicked that thing every goddamn time um okay Park sounds I was about to give you our kid let me give you all a kit real quick let me go to Ableton are we back we back I really like this one [ __ ] kit that it's from a kid who has like 2,000 followers on Twitter and I linked him with splice like I called the dudes from splice instantly and I was like yo whoever this kid is you got to let him put [ __ ] on here he's fire it's called AI ni X OLS wel Samba in zox well I don't know what the [ __ ] I would show it on the screen but actually I'll pull it up so you could see um yes ah like here I'll type it I'm a type it I'm a type I will put in the chat SWV oh yeah so all's all's well is one half of the kids who made it so maybe it's any and all's well but yeah Oh el all's well that's the kid bro I'm telling you maybe you already hip to this maybe I'm late I don't know but I got this kit because some kid DM me and was like yo you put me on to 808 one time I'm trying to pay it back I really liked it I like I just like his 808 samples and sure he doesn't you know me I'm not big on the sidechain 808 [ __ ] not to say that it doesn't work for some people I don't sidechain my 808 ever at all but he has some samples in the key [Music] [Music] this one let me show you I'll show you a beat I made I'll show you a beer I made we want his 808 said I really liked a lot I made this you know what I have to [ __ ] around and do a section with that you know a in this beat but yeah that's a kid I wanted to bring up because it's random I don't Rose not necessarily like a rap producer he might be I don't know he's bros like 16 but it slaps you know what I mean like all his [ __ ] all his sound choices in there all the little things and they were really cool really different that's where I really find most of my perk and most of my effects sounds he happened to have really good 808 in his kit but there's just a lot of like kids who might make like even [ __ ] that's a little more EDM you like think about like medicine I know all his shits on splice now but like Sakura bursts there's another kid who awesome like Unruh you know own room I don't he might be on splice but like there's a bunch of kids who are putting out different kinds of music you know I mean these kids aren't necessarily making rap beats like they're not trying to get cardi placements or they might be but the [ __ ] that they put out is very different and there are sound kids to me just are the most like I don't know interesting but those kids also like are the producers producer so if you put out a kit and you use somebody else's 808 or you're claiming that you had a sound first or this - that those are the type of guy who's gonna let you know like no it's not your EDA way I looked at the metadata you're capping also count is like my favorite right now not as I've used them in the cave like four times but I use them in real life all the time but count is like so inspiring like if you don't feel like making beats today or you don't feel like doing anything while you in the house like go watch counts Twitter for like 15 minutes even if you don't listen to like Dilla type [ __ ] his [ __ ] is just hella inspiring and he has really good kids too and he gives free sounds out all the time but yeah that I'm not really getting this leaving I know we're making like some typical rap [ __ ] right now I'm not really getting the perks and stuff I would use for beats like this from the o-z kid kids or the tech kits you know I mean I'm probably looking in other weirder places kit wise I don't know if that's helpful I hope that's helpful field recorder like Monte to get sounds I'm getting an Opie one this week in the mail Monty's gonna teach me how to use it on streem so if you ever wanted to learn some Monty [ __ ] we're gonna do that this week that's not in key another thing we should talk about if you want your bass to hit people talk about the side chaining your K limiting your master all this different [ __ ] to make your beats hit for me one thing a lot of people aren't looking at is a lot of like different sounds in your beat or getting in the way of your 808 that you might not think so for example this sound right here this is a little effects on them on the one or whatever [Applause] you know you don't think that that little high noise with a bunch of reverb on it is gonna get in the way of your 808 you want to see something crazy I know this one specifically so I know it's gonna do this but a lot of these are like this look it look at how much under 100 Hertz you see all this and that's a real high weird effect sound you know what I'm saying like that's some [ __ ] that literally is supposed to just be like some 10,000 Hertz like flourish type [ __ ] you got so much [ __ ] in your beat that's literally fighting you believe me none of this it's not even down here but another thing I love this EQ I use Pro q3 for everything it's like a cheat code cuz lift lick it if you want to figure out what's [ __ ] [ __ ] up in your sample all you do is hold your mouse over the EQ curve and then the EQ curve stays you see this boom and then you can literally just take any one of these notches angry nut [ __ ] down that was drastic if you'd already used Pro Q 3 you might already know this I might not be telling y'all [ __ ] anything this [ __ ] at the bottom this zero latency [ __ ] it comes on zero latency like every time you open Pro Q 3 it's just gonna be set to zero latency what you think probably is a good thing it'll make your computer run faster this and that what it's not doing is cutting that like EQ cut this really harsh EQ cut that you're doing if you leave it on zero latency a lot of [ __ ] is still making its way out of there I'll prove it to you I'm cutting that [ __ ] much harder I shouldn't be feeling I shouldn't be seeing any of this at all right because I'm doing a hard ass cut so why would I have any of that if you put these other modes on instead of the zero latency [ __ ] natural phase linear phase that I see some of y'all talkin it talking about it in the comments that [ __ ] is something that like I was with mix byali who does kendrick [ __ ] maybe three am i back are we back we're back tell me if I'm bet I can't never tell if this is back are we good can y'all see me all right we're back we're back um you know I'm a little stressed can y'all give me one second just give me one second I kicked this thing one more time I swear to god I'm a cry I just got it no don't touch you're gonna get it Aaron's gonna knock it out make sure bro mission bro I'm [ __ ] ready straight okay um that is not a chronic cough it was a different kind of cough I love cigarettes I've actually never had cigarette my whole life we were talking about eq's we were talking about this little [ __ ] button on the bottom mixed by Ollie was telling me like bro I used to I did so many mixes without knowing I had to change that [ __ ] and once I started doing it everything sounded ten percent better fifteen percent better if you if you change that setting and you just listen on really loud speakers say it's a sample of your beats so you cut all the lows out of the sample of your beat and you change it from zero latency it's a natural face the linear phase and you listen to it I'm like big big big speakers you'll see like holy [ __ ] it's literally doing a way better job at getting rid of all the [ __ ] I'm trying to get rid of that was a big piece of game for me cuz if you want your 808 to be the only thing down there why the [ __ ] would your effect sounds be given off all this low-end I get that [ __ ] out of there no my [Music] [Music] I hate this higher this is how the yes or no okay so already all you all you really see me doing is like taking these little simple pieces I have and just like chopping them and leaving room in this Annette no after this like weird ass intro we need something to just a hit super hard right out the gate so that's why right now I'm just slowly you see me taking [ __ ] down so you taking my hats down taking the sample down taking the snares down leave it out this one snare till here I think I was just looking for a kick forgot you know what's one of the best cakes of all time hold on let me go about to give you one about to give you one if you want to know one of the greatest kicks of all time let me get a frog in the comments I just also put a frog I like that we get a frog in the comments if you looking for kicks right now looking for a Grammy nominated platinum kick let me get a frog real quick bow it's not enough frogs that's only one verified frog that whole time we're the very flap that we're my staff members that I need more frogs but let's stop playing games with me I didn't come on this life to play games if you want these kicks we're gonna need ball do big ok one of my favorite kicks ever of all time let me find what kitty thinks I don't know what [ __ ] kids in it's the O's II do by [ __ ] kick from it I might be sicko mode kit Ozzy sicko mode kit the o z do buy [ __ ] kick all right no more frog there's too many products we overloaded it we just wait to bro this is worse than the cheers please no bro can you all stop I already gave you the I all there's more verify it's coming in no no no not that [ __ ] eros now there's no cheer sound go back to the volcania I think that was the best one no cheers sound is just depressing because now they're cheering and I don't even hear nothing I don't know what okay how do the kicks it well good question but first the Dubai [ __ ] kick if you have a lot of Ozzy kits then just search in your [ __ ] finder just search Dubai [ __ ] y'all are ruining the chat with the frogs what are these are guy I was like nah it's gonna get cleared up I'm so scared now every day of my life how did let me go back to the beat stop stop but it's the same guy doing the [ __ ] bits the cheers stop and just do bit exposed but I think I'm fine Wow Wow he's got splinter someone donated $5 to show your room I'm not chugging your Balanta I will have a panic attack also you know how much makes it pissed stop with the [ __ ] bits all right we're supposed to be making a beat let's go back to the [Music] we're gonna have to we're gonna have to turn it off like there's no way how am I supposed to talk do you all want me to talk about you want me to talk about this beat or like Mickey Beats or Carmack's in here what did Carmack say shut the [ __ ] up what did Carmack say though what at Carmack's I can't find it put your bit minimum higher oh we can put the bits all we're gonna bout to go with high bits cotton bro make it higher so little kid just bitten where is Carmack oh shut the [ __ ] up it's the whoever the homie MCL is you really trying my patience big guy I gave you all a kick drum I literally gave you all a kick jump for frogs and you this is how you're gonna treat me oh we've been on your fork oh my god what's goose that's what you went with you went to sign up for a twitch account and you said I'm gonna go with watch the couch I hope your mom sees your [ __ ] login on your laptop when she goes to [ __ ] Clorox wipe it and what's go pops up and you got to have a conversation about why that's how you're representing yourself on the Internet in 2020 when we're going through a [ __ ] pandemic I hope you're happy with yourself relax with the bits what a comment say Erin flee Erin I saw your quarantine you got it pop in here house I don't even have this to do miles I gotta wipe my way into you God guys all right Harris make this [ __ ] make this [ __ ] silent airs overall you want to help your bits now MCL you think you're a funny guy brought about the snap it's my first day at which I can't even make it the robot frogs is my least favorite part the regular frogs I was [ __ ] with you're gonna wipe your way to me yeah make it a thousand bit limit how much how many bit like where does a bit even a quake whoa somebody donated $1 let's [ __ ] go subscribe me I'm [ __ ] with you thank you for that $1 also that that $1 sound made me feel good the bit sound just makes me feel bad okay I don't I know you hear the seagulls and I'm leaving them in the beat so could [ __ ] suck it and start your own stream and I'll raise you some followers that's a lot I don't even know how to do it I turn my own stream off four times [Music] [Music] I just pinched all my drums all the time up down all around I really never leave my drum sounds where they came from no one wants eros freestyle eros you're not freestyling I know you see it in the comments no it's not happening eros in the case he really is in the booth right now we turn the mic on not letting her spit if y'all knew errors you would know he's not ready [Music] bro I was my my plan was like come on do a little quick keep it moving I turned the [ __ ] off like five times this [ __ ] cheers [ __ ] threw me off I had to take an intermission it's like I didn't I don't think I was ready for twitch is really what it was like I had my [ __ ] [ __ ] set up like I got my stream deck and all my like twitch [ __ ] but I don't think I was prepared for twitch also by the way when we were talking about high hats being late sell late my [ __ ] high hat is I think as a rule open high hats can be even later so if you're gonna swing your hat I'd say you could swing your upper hat way [ __ ] more no Eris's broke Aris is not trying to murder this beat airs [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] okay so what am I doing here I'm [ __ ] this blue get born to me I'm sick of the [ __ ] piano [ __ ] I've been listening to it for a bunch the beats pretty much already there I can go play this right now four key o'clock and we're gonna go up and he's gonna make it sound way harder than it sounds a little [ __ ] like this will just make transitions and stuff a little more interesting for me when you do a drum drop me just leave it on that last piano note after where we at right here in the beat thirty Seconds forty seconds like it's gonna get old took a piece of it chopped it up an octave put it on another track that has a different setting on a different [ __ ] vinyl filter whatever so it sounds different for two seconds and then when we get back to this other octave like it's a little more interesting [Music] and then I chop the beat into itself and normally when you do a beat chop like that it's good to put a little separation between them it kind of gives it like that like you restarted the play button kind of feel and I think I like that that restart [ __ ] right here - a little chop me go is no label to chop detail maybe already doing all this [ __ ] but I just get myself a couple different settings a couple different filters you know what I mean couple different octaves take one pattern that's initially boring change it up there's only melodies from it that only happens like two times in the beat now so it's more refreshing it's gonna come in and be a moment that's like oh my god it's gonna bring the speaker's up somewhere different besides that fling it just rides I don't know why I started thinking about Dolph and I started thinking about key Glock and like simple like I don't know like Memphis type [ __ ] whenever I was making it so I just started just keeping pattern simple just like thinking three six [ __ ] like I said my hats are a little late my open hats are super late I know these snare samples aren't perfect yeah see there's some those are do some movement in there so I like how those sound boom boom boom but the kicks coming in the kicks going out this and that like you can obviously do early in a minute so it's the same thing if you keep going maybe I'll take this intro section all the way back but like you see what I'm saying taking these little drum drops [ __ ] with your mixing as you're going doing the EQ to get all the [ __ ] out of the way so that like you're eight away can hit your kick in here give me that balance and you're the balance between you see my kicking my eat away to slappy barely in the ridge [Music] because ableton so clean and people always [ __ ] on you for not like being on some pretty loop [ __ ] or this or that I think leaving it a little bit like touching red here and there this and that and the reason it's touching red is when I go up higher with 808 note the higher 808 notes always like really push everything for me making sure like I touch the red a tiny bit gives it a little bit of grit and especially on the beat like this like I know I can allow for that if I'm making something pretty with a bunch of guitars and like first something like more pop-oriented or more singer/songwriter I'm never gonna want to be in the red but when your 808 goes up a little bit like oh I didn't even get in the red there right there it just cuz the cake is hitting on top of that and it goes up and no but you know what I'm saying it's okay it's okay to touch it but you don't want to be sitting there with your [ __ ] master channel just red red red red red red whenever your kick comes in or whenever your 808 hit too many times in a row like it's gonna [ __ ] it up [Music] we've been on your own oh [ __ ] your time this [ __ ] is easy well speakers am i using I'm using focals my speakers are cheap honestly I wish I could show you them well nah my speakers don't cost a lot of money I've been sent free speakers ever since I started to cave people get airs will you come out here for two seconds people are just I'm so you can they can just look at you oh my god say that says whatever say this as first just sit behind me so they could just look at you so they stop talking about you but the twitch stress right now my speaker's my speakers are cheap I feel like obviously I know people who were like like Benny Blanco the biggest producer ever ever ever like biggest youngest pop producer in the game bro uses KRKs and he only wants to use KRK
