ko is a truly interesting character in the valorent universe it is the only agent that is fully machine and has nothing to do with humans well that's just his appearance because if you dig deeper into his origins you'll find that he has more in common with other agents than you might think and that's what we're going to do today we're going to delve into the lore of ko and go through different aspects of his persona to review his significance in ballarance history so without further ado let's get right into it [Music] let's start with where ko comes from in general as most of you may know every agent has some country he comes from for example chamber is from france kiljoy is from germany fate is from turkey and so on however when it comes to ko he doesn't really come from any country in fact we don't really know much about the place he came from other than the fact that he comes from the future and that's absolutely all we know so far about his origin we don't know why he decided to join valorent protocol here we can only speculate nevertheless we know something about his activities before joining protocol the name ko is written in such a way that it shows it has a deeper meaning and we know it ko stands for kill all your opponents from what we officially know he was created to fight in a war against radiance and this is also why his ability kit looks the way it does his weapons just like his in-game abilities are made specifically to shut down radiant's powers and therefore kill them in short we could say that ko's main purpose was to be a pure radiant killing machine alright now that we know why ko was made let's ask ourselves who created it so here again we don't have official information but if we take a closer look at his in-game character model it's clear that it's the work of the kingdom corporation if only for that immortal necklace in fact there's even a theory that ko is killjoy's creation well it would make sense all in all as she's pretty much the most experienced technician we know of in lore plus you've got to admit that you can see a bit of her creation style in ko's model and while we're on the subject of ko's association with other agents let's get to the most significant thing his relationship with reina which is not the most pleasant well as you may know from our articles on the globalgaming.com or other lore videos on the channel reyna is a leader in a war that takes place in a future alternate reality lore wise reina is obsessed with her powers and has contributed to the destruction of much of earth so no wonder someone decided to create a robot programmed to kill her that's right ko is programmed to kill reyna and put a stop to her reign and well as one of the voice lines suggests he succeeded another raven i killed her in the war i'll kill her again when it comes to the war itself it seems that ko operated under brimstone's command and was also very closely associated with him that would even kind of confirm that killjoy was the one to create our favorite roboboy as she is also very close with brim before we knew that ko was programmed to kill reina fans also believed that ko was brimstone from the future after experiencing the war yeah the community went completely darth vader here but not this time lads it's not the same person however they were working closely in the war together as we can see on the memory log and no one left behind player cards where they carry each other out of battles there's also another easter egg that proves kos and brim's brotherly relationship even more if you put on the memory chip gun buddy from the ko contract then equip the memory log player card and play brimstone in a match the gun buddy will change its design the design alone tells us little about their relationship in the course of the war but one thing is for sure they were close as you can see ko is more than an upgraded practice bot or a toaster it's a certified killing machine created to destroy the person who reigned over the entire earth yeah that's something if you enjoyed the video make sure to leave a thumbs up and subscribe and if you're into valorant content make sure to hit that bell icon as well as we're planning to upload even more lauren lineups in the upcoming days and to take this opportunity if you are already ko mains we already have a collection of the best lineups for each map for this particular agent on our channel so you guys check them out and we'll get to work on the next videos for you catch you next time you
