so for anyone who hasn't seen Idiot Abroad three what's the concept behind it me and Carl going on a bit of a trip together halfway around the world actually recreating the the route that Marco Polo took it took him annulled it take him live years three years suggest five weeks boy we weren't you know this it wasn't like a big idea you sort of say it like because if we sat in a meeting room going what we're gonna do what we're gonna see I wanted Ricky to go with me honestly that's for the last 100 it's like anymore I've seen a lot of the world now and you can't you know you can't keep seeing the same thing can you so I've seen a lot of the world so I want it's a second with me or Steve just to see how they could undal it and it was like good to have some company and then apparently Warrick mentioned it when he was on life's too short say I'd love to travel the world do you actually like each other did you know did you like you know each other a lot before now and that was part of the problem you go away with somebody and you talk push together like that and yeah you know we had our differences if we but the nature kind of the first suit is initially they're cold because cuz if that honestly everyone likes about you then that's quite that's something you wanted to see as well wasn't it that development of that yeah when you wearing on each other they're nuts and they kept falling into the trap that all these people do when they do travel programs you know they don't think what he's saying become because a lot of the world is pretty horrible and you never met Palin recently and he sort of agreed with me but a lot of it is not really nice this country's pretty good but you you sort of slipped into saying oh isn't it majestic you never you would never use that word normally but suddenly a cameras on you you're out in the middle of nowhere waiting for your chance to say what I like about Karl is he sums up travel for me when he when he says on this shows I don't want to go and see tourist attractions cuz they're rubbish and same with me I was in new you I didn't want to go to the Empire State Building had to if my children bore you see the problem is those things are really good but soon has become popular horrible what's the queueing know were you for two hours for 30 seconds Wow I think you should quiz people before they go in it should say how much do you know about this thing you're queuing up for and if you can't answer the questions you want to see people queuing oh you're not the king for yeah so that's what they should do with the general election as well stand outside do you know anything about this no we'll go so did you find that you wanted to go and see all the sights and he was trying to stop you seeing this oh absolutely he wanted a diver tanned see kind of you know odd things where eyes are you know I always run as a little bit touristy to be honest you know I wanted when we did went to Venice at the very beginning of the series you know I wanted to see the art galleries and the things that you do when you go to Venice corner gondol no they don't do when we've got an amazing stuff in London but isn't that why you do it though isn't that where you go on holiday so you do different things no I meant well it used to be to get away from it all what now because of phones and everything everyone could go old of it it's like you know you're away from home but you're just a different bed everything else carries on did you start by fighting it funny and then by the end go oh yeah I mean I'm in Carlisle always make me laugh honestly and we were in some pretty extreme situations with anyone yes I can't think of anybody in the entire world I would want to spend five solid weeks with you know me yeah you and Harry stars yeah obviously in Harry yeah yeah yeah and over the whole series you definitely see a development in our relationship you kind of we start off kind of getting on each other's nerves and finish off give us a tip then you've traveled so much now give us some traveling tips be going what about what about little treats I think you should take with you anything that if you're having a low moment you know I took Chris with my little coal cubes I had a bag of em when I was in Japan just something that honestly I saw that you were traveling anything I might be some terrible moments waking up because I didn't sleep well in Japan because you sleep on a floor and they kept having sort of little trends so I was waking up trembling what have you and I don't like fish and yeah under way come out at 3:00 in the morning eating Cola cubes just thinking what am i doing you know should be really enjoying this experience but a lot of it you know jet lag you know you were saying you didn't suffer with it was you on it just talking before the baby's been bad but I'm saying about you know you didn't softly jet like it when you start going over to sort of China and that side of the world Japan and all that jet lag it's terrible you know so not only you so that's what people forget the car is always moaning but they don't they don't see that you know there are only some 40-odd minutes yeah I'm gonna way for a long time and you're not eating properly you're not sleeping I'm missing home because I like being home and that's you know do you think expectations of when you're doing when you source you're traveling they serve ridiculously low expectations for I wish thing this would people go to the theater they watch rubbish she goes brilliant and they laugh at things you would never laugh at it's because he paid though a size up yeah so much that I've got to enjoy this who's cost me money so you look at that ISM as a majestic it's the same song lauric it's the same one got up early oh no the Brighton is not the same as the sunrise over the good it's something to behold surely that was to be different and we sat on the boat and I was already depressed after it was it was mad I mean I don't want to bring the show down tonight Sunday morning it should all be happy and cheery but at the same time when he was watching that Sun it were burning bodies yeah that's that show that's it that's no sir by the way it's not you know it wasn't a crime it was all over India to take their dead relative to their to cremate them and I was looking up some coming up inside what that's going on there why I was fascinated by it but you know I suppose that certain it was like different things and what do you make of that that thing of burning bodies at least I mean it's just what they do in it so you can't argue with it I mean I always accept that people do things different ways and in this country does loads of things that you know what we're doing that for what was interesting was the fact that they were were you saying that you burn you can get different heights of burning or different was all to do with would like if you spend more money on this wards it gets you to heaven quicker and all on things like that I just think it's wrong because people are living there then I only got any money be starving yet they were worrying about the afterlife yeah and it's not just spend your money on something else whilst your ear it's getting ripped off and it's that thing that I suppose that similar to coffins over here what's the difference between cardboard you kind of because in a bin bag tae-young I mean to the end of your life to someone they are now dead just like you is and he's right no I haven't I am sad on the show should be serious well look I believe that you're not gonna do another one cuz it's got the other ways of kind of looking at it because I must be sure that you've been on all three ships thing I'd like to go back there yeah but it's just that thing I only start at the beginner I didn't understand where it was all about but it's about me being dropped in a situation that is so different from what I'm used to but now you know I've been with loads of different tribes and stuff and now it's just like oh there's another tribe a study stops getting exciting for me which is you know I'm lucky I'm really lucky to have I do it all but then let someone else have a go if you seen Warwick's films I haven't I'm not again not a dis to him but I don't I don't know that's film I saw in the cinema was King Kong so I'm not always covered up anyway now I know you didn't know and I you stumble the closet a couple of times indeed but but now it's fine I'd watch joint I'm back catalog before we started I knew I think it's too much money spent on films as well that's the you know you mentioned then that the amount of money there nuki Tommy's in the Muppet movie and it costs more to sort of delete all the rods and stuff on the Muppets then it
