a group of karens and chads getting together to try and ruin fortnite it's pretty hilarious and you won't believe what i ended up getting in my voicemail box after i signed to this crazy petition to end fortnight it's a pretty wild ride but before we get started make sure that you're subscribed with notifications turned on so that you never miss an upload and then also make sure to turn the like button below lastly guys make sure to leave us your comments down below if you agree with what these people are saying about fortnite and if it should be deleted forever but i have a feeling that we're all kind of in the same boat here so let's get into it basically i got this discord message from a kid that we've known for a little while and he let me know that there was some crazy group of karen's trying to destroy fortnite and they even had a petition that they were passing around through an email apparently they think that fortnite is the reason the entire world is basically going crazy and i'm gonna show you guys the email he afforded me in a second and then i'm gonna sign the petition because i think it's honestly pretty hilarious and i'll show you guys all of that too so just keep watching but the kid ended up saying yo simbo you and gumbo have to look at this thing i just gotten my email xd do you have a sec and i said yeah lmao let me take a look at it what is it about and he replied saying so i hardly ever get emails but i got this one and it was basically talking about how fortnite is the worst thing to ever happen and how they want to delete it off the face of the planet it's so funny you just have to read it man i'm telling you so he sent me this forwarded email and this is what it looks like guys i'm recording myself going over it and i think it's pretty hilarious just wait until you see some of the links that they have in this thing i think they like actually believe this stuff which is probably the worst part about it but anyways i'm going to show you that right now this is the email that we got forwarded from this like absolute crazy karen organization so it starts off saying attention citizen your children are at risk the internet and modern video games are poisoning their minds it is a known fact that video games make our kids angry and aggressive we as responsible adults must put a stop to this lots of exclamation points in here guys the main offender is the video game fortnite it is teaching our kids to be mean to each other and to act out in fits of rage if you guys have watched any of our videos about like karen's raging at children you would know that it's not just children that rage because of fortnite it's adults too so maybe they have a point i don't know but it says the whole world started collapsing as soon as fortnight came out it's the reason we are doomed and uh you know i don't know if they're totally wrong honestly because like uh yeah maybe they're right here i don't know maybe maybe maybe i'm part of the squad i don't know okay maybe i'm being a little facetious but i keep saying please read these links and sign our petition to remove fortnite and video games forever so guys i'm gonna go and read these links and then i'm probably gonna end up signing the petition because i believe in their cause full-heartedly that's sarcasm okay guys so here is the first link that they sent me the title just says it all it says is fortnite ruining your kid millions of kids are not playing the hottest game fortnite is that bad and i'm gonna guess that they say that it is so let's see transcript for is fortnite ruining your kid so you might have heard me mention fortnite in a few of the other episodes and you might be wondering to yourself what is a fork knife what a boomer thing to say well fortnite is the actual name of it and i said the same thing when i first heard kids talking about it goes on to explain what fortnite is and this is where they start talking about fortnite so let's see what they say here the vegas effect in fortnite one of the elements of fortnite is that it's particularly engaging that keeps people coming back for more it's sometimes referred to as the vegas effect that's a variable ratio reinforcement schedule that is every game is different and so there are many times when players go through a game they have a near victory which is very reinforcing so this is basically saying fortnite's addictive okay cool basically the rest of that was just complete garbage talking about how maybe fortnite isn't so bad and then it goes on to say that a tip for your parents to try to keep your children's recreational screen time to two or three hours per day now i don't know about you guys but two or three hours actually might seem reasonable but when there's like 108 degree weather i probably tend to play fortnite for like 14 hours a day but then again i'm not a child i don't know what you guys think maybe you're not children either but two or three hours is a little bit ridiculous let's go ahead and take a look at the other link here though this one just gets straight into it it says video games are bad for you there's nothing like flipping on your favorite video game after a long day at school sixty percent of americans play video games daily but while it may seem like a benign method of relaxation playing video games has a significant effect on your behavior a wealth of recent scientific evidence shows that playing video games too often especially ones with gratuitous violence can cause serious psychological problems now i don't know about you guys again i don't think fortnite goes into this realm at all but uh let's see playing video games causes your brain to release dopamine uh pretty much anything that makes you happy is what releases don't mean dopamine is important for learning and concentration but is also the same chemical released when people do like i can't even say that word we have to bleep that out if you spend too much time playing video games you could develop a gaming disorder so remember everyone that fortnight uh is just as bad as uh the world health organization defines a gaming disorder as a pattern of gaming behavior characterized by impaired control over gaming increased priority given over blah blah blah okay cool they're basically saying that video games are as bad as and then they have all these scary pictures so i'm gonna go and sign the petition now i can only imagine what that looks like i'm gonna go sign that and we'll go from there okay guys this is where i got the voicemail from these crazy people just listen to what i got right after i signed the petition this freaked me out more than anything listen to this and then just keep watching the rest of the the internet delete the wait like they want to delete the internet yeah the whole yeah like the all-encompassing utility that literally every person in the world uses literally yeah it's like basically just like a group of karen's and chad's that got together and are just absolutely insane cracked out karen colt yeah cold internet yes i'm reading i'm reading this right now oh my gosh dude it's like the world uh the whole world started collapsing as soon as fortnite came out it's the reason we are doomed and uh you know maybe they're right but i'm gonna say it's worth maybe yeah yeah yeah oh what the heck what are these links what the heck yeah they're basically links to like how it's ruining your child's life if you let them play fortnite and like look at screens and stuff gross yeah it's pretty awful but dude honestly the worst part is the i i signed the petition obviously i had to sign up right and right they sent me a voicemail like i well i don't know if they sent me a voicemail but i didn't answer my phone well like an automated like yeah it was like if i answered it like they would have just said the same thing but in the voicemail it basically was like saying like thanks for donating and like could you please donate more like a minimum of ten thousand dollars what yeah like actually insane like just there's no way anyone's gonna donate ten thousand dollars to your crazy cause yeah it's gotta be some kind of scam or something honestly though the worst dude i know the worst part is that it's said that they can dna test your children to make sure they're not sneaking in screen time without you knowing oh that sounds like an issue for the government it's like yeah i know that's what i was thinking it's like literal cult they want they okay so they want dna like what do they mean what is it i don't know i don't i don't even i don't even think that's possible how would they know if you were looking at a screen like a lab yeah it's like a la i don't know i think it's a scam ten thousand dollars yeah membership and they want to dna test your children to make sure they're not getting screen time this definitely sounds like something that probably should not exist we should probably talk to some people do you think that i want to talk to somebody yeah do you think that maybe we should just like uh like contact the petition website and like have them take that down or like maybe they can do their own investigation it's a change.org thing so they could probably like let's let's send an email to them a kind of low-key though i'm going to talk to whoever is organizing this whole thing good idea what's up you know what is going on with this yeah it's from dawn don runter did he got bullied on the internet one time and wanted to delete it all right dude okay yeah yeah i'm going to contact change.org you go ahead and try and get in contact you need to sign the particular petition yeah i'm going to sign this petition and i'm going to figure
