It took us 3 months to expose this predator..

what is going on you guys you're watching monument and i'm simbo and in today's video i'm gonna tell you the story of how it took us three months to catch this predator that we met in fortnite it was pretty crazy everything we had to do to get this guy and just wait until you hear what eventually ended up happening to our friend sarah because it will blow your mind i promise i'll explain everything and i don't want to waste any time so make sure to like the video and let's get right into it the whole thing started about three months ago when we got an anonymous tip in our email about this predator that had been adding random people on fortnite and trying to meet up with them first of all never ever do that you guys i promise it never ends good but anyways we got a tip from this guy and even just from the information we had from them we knew that this was probably something we definitely needed to try and expose but what we didn't know at the time is how smart this person was at covering their tracks and evading almost every single attempt we tried exposing them with until the very last time we had tried pretty much everything and we tried making like fake discord accounts voice changers the whole nine yards to get this guy exposed none of it worked and we were pretty much ready to just give up because we were never able to get any solid proof that this guy was being a creeper or a predator so we figured that maybe the person who tipped us off was completely wrong so we actually stopped trying for about a week but that's when gumbo had an idea that changed everything and gumbo realized that if we want to try to get this guy exposed and finally prove that he's a predator that we'd have to try harder so we devised a plan that involved hiring an actor to talk to this guy for like two months straight or however long it took to gain his trust and this is where the story of everything that happened begins and so after a few failed attempts at exposing this guy he still didn't know who we were because we never identified ourselves and we kind of suspected that he would be way more careful about things and who he talks to because of these several failed attempts and we also knew that that would make things much more difficult but we knew of this girl that had let us know that we could ask for her help at any time but that she wanted to remain completely anonymous so we're just gonna call her sarah for the remainder of this video but sarah had reached out to us and let us know that if we ever needed her help she could most definitely act for us and help us expose some of these guys so with that being said we hit her up this time and let her know the general situation and how we think this guy is aware that someone is trying to expose him and that we've never gotten any hard evidence before he ended up blocking us so we also let her know that this obviously means that he could be totally innocent but he had said some things to us before that were kind of strange so we wanted to try this one last time before giving up now for some greater backstory on this guy he is part of this discord group that plays a ton of fortnite valorent and even games like roblox it's a pretty big community and that's how we've been getting into contact with him as of recently we wanted this time to be completely different and it's about to get really complicated okay so pay attention and then wait for later in this video guys i swear it gets so crazy what we had to do but gumbo and i joined this discord server on our main accounts and decided to try and be active in hopes that we'd eventually get to play some games with this guy like naturally now again he didn't know who we really were so he had no idea but eventually after about four days of being active in the server we ended up asking if anyone wanted to play squads and this guy joined us our plan was to play a couple of games with him just the three of us but he actually had a duo partner as well so we all four ended up playing a few games and we already knew a lot about this guy from various failed attempts at exposing him so we had to be really careful on what we did and didn't say but eventually his friend logged off which is when we introduced him to sarah our actor sarah is actually older than both gumbo and i but we had her act like someone way younger so that we could expose this guy who was actually 31 years old by the way so sarah joined and we were all playing squads just taking time to gain this guy's trust but after a few days of playing games on and off gumbo and i tapered off of the discord server and became much less active and just let sarah do her thing so again guys this guy was smart at first but eventually he added sarah directly on discord and this is when the very long process of getting this guy exposed started and trust me like this is like a creeper level 9000 thing this dude needed to be exposed so make sure you keep watching because it just is crazy now before i go any further also it's important to mention that we made sure sarah wasn't the instigator of any conversations meaning that she was never the one to make contact first or anything like that we needed to make sure that everything that happened was because of something this guy said or did with that being said it took three weeks of sarah and him casually playing in the discord server and talking before this guy finally said this discord message right here he said i really wish you didn't live so far away and when sarah got this message she took a screenshot and sent it to gumbo and i because she was thinking that this may start it all off and we were wrong though because she replied saying why's that i mean at least we live in the same country right and then he said because then we could all get together as a giant discord server and have like a lan party but you and like three other people live so far so bear with me here guys but obviously that's not really that weird plus they had been talking about doing this like that as a group for a while in the discord but just wait you guys i promise it's about to get crazy so at this point though we were pretty much sure that this guy wasn't a creeper like at all like sure he had sent some weird things like in the past to us even but like nothing that was really worth getting freaked out over we won't go over any of those messages they're not really important but anyways we had pretty much thought that we'd give up on this guy entirely and we were glad to see that we were actually wrong but we talked with sarah and she did mention that there were a couple of things that led her to believe we should continue for at least a couple more weeks and i'll get to all of that in a second but basically we're lucky that she kept at it because about a week later this guy messaged her and said hey sarah you know the area better than i do is it worth it to take the train into downtown from or should i get an uber and guys this right here is basically what turned us into panic mode because like we figured out before this guy lived on like the opposite end of the country from us and sarah so the fact that this guy is now asking about something local like this was a huge red flag and sarah responded with i think uber is faster you in town or something and all the guy responded with was thanks so she didn't actually say anything after that but told us right away and like one thing is she never mentioned where in the state that she was before they started talking and really she should never have told him the real state to begin with but it's hard to remember when you're supposed to be talking to people like normal but regardless we needed to figure out something quickly and really see if this guy was just being weird or if something else was going on and sarah wasn't able to get him to reply to a message for a couple of days until he sent her this and this is a picture of sarah walking down the street from the convenience store down the road and this meant a couple of things firstly that we needed to get sarah the heck out of there as fast as possible and also that we confirmed this guy was a total creeper and we had sarah respond to him and say where did you get these and the guy responded saying i just took them what do you think then guys like this was pretty freaking creepy and luckily sarah at the time of receiving these messages was actually not home and he for some reason waited to send her these so she was with people and was going to be fine but we had sarah play along for a moment to see what this guy was going to say next and so she said looks like a girl walking down the street what about it and guys what he replied with was pretty freaking creepy and he said i see way more than just a girl dot dot dot so as this was all going down gumbo was actually getting into contact with the admin of the discord group that everyone was a part of to try and get this guy's name or any more information that they may know about him so that we can properly get him reported and unfortunately we didn't even consider it before messaging this guy but basically as gumbo was messaging the leader of the discord we noticed that whenever gumbo was getting a response from him the predator went offline and we didn't really put two and two together yet but not too long after the predator started to get really weird and messaged sarah saying i didn't take these i found them online and wondered if they looked like you i've got to go talk to you later so what that basically meant is that this guy literally created this discord and was the leader the entire time and that he basically did this for this exact reason he had figured out that by us messaging him on the main admin account he had figured out what we were trying to do and he completely caught off contact with us and sarah and for a little while we pretty much decided to give up but only after a few days and after a little while we pretty much decided to give up because we couldn't find any more information on this guy and he completely deleted the entire discord server and both of his accounts but luckily only after a few days sarah got a friend request from an entirely different account and she accepted it and it was the guy and he was being creepier than ever before i asked her if she was able to call him on discord but unfortunately she wasn't and then she messaged him and asked if they could talk on the phone instead of over discord because she has to leave and luckily guys this guy slipped up and gave her his phone number and with that we were basically instantly able to report him to the local authorities there and they came to make sure sarah was fine which she definitely was because she was still with people and at this point since she was able to confirm the phone number that this guy was using they were able to work with the cell provider and identify who he was so if he didn't slip up honestly we don't know what would have happened with this guy but what's really creepy is that they do have record of him flying to the state but he never left so he's just been waiting there for like a couple of days to reach back out to sarah and the entire thing was just downright creepy and luckily they now know who he is and are still looking for him so we successfully got this guy exposed but there was obviously a ton more to the story that would have just been impossible to share with you guys in one video but either way i hope
