[Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right out of the gun to open it with us completion with a flag as Carson claudette picked up a couple before Davenport dragged them down Ronald Torbert and grew on hand in Seattle illegal block in the back offense number 88 then yard penalty could be first down so I'll back up the Seahawks as we take a look at Russell Wilson some of the things he's done he passed the 200 touchdown mark in the win against Pittsburgh last Sunday the 5th fastest to ever get there in week 1 of victory a hard-earned victory against Cincinnati was his 50th home victory in seven years and just get started here two games name this game three able to complete it to dis new his tied in who caught a couple of touchdowns against the Steelers Lattimore brought him down after five Seahawks offensive line struggled at the start in the game against the Steelers gave up three sacks the first couple of series and then well Russell just got rid of the football so quickly the rest of the way they've been touch from the second half Pittsburgh and that's a big part of the change in philosophy you know through all the years Russell Wilson growing around [Applause] running toward ham and Jordan and he plugs up that little hole that was only gonna yield a couple on Yamata got there as well for Dennis outlet and that defense over the Saints it's a tremendous offensive front and it's still not healthy rankin's is inactive today but broke Malcolm Brown the former first round of the Patriots over by free agency in the offseason he got Davenport he got Jordi got a lot of talent there here's the secondary well you see these guys they're so good against the run last year the second best rugby founded up that first two games last week before here's 3013 his screen pass Saints in the area to stop it for a loss of a couple person with the catch again Davenport on the pile and three plays and a punt for Seattle sent back by that penalty on the first snap of the game that's kind of been the em over sale even even though they're you know they've won their first two games they've kind of gotten off to slow starts and then as the game goes on they start playing better ball but I think that's gonna be something that they're gonna have to improve upon as the year goes on especially against some of the teams who can play great defense and a little flag out before Dixon's punt could be official will back up Seattle 500 number 55 [Applause] so a sloppy start for Seattle and rough day already for Pete Carroll he got hit in the nose with a football during warmups on the field I tell you what I thought you guys meeting went really well - you didn't have go down there it's not that combative and I'm debating beforehand so he was questionable for a while no he didn't sixty-eight and he is strong bandage it up and let's go Dixon spawn travels to the 47 hit Harris with a little wiggle and there we go tha Harris could have taken the distance [Music] when you're playing in Seattle you know on the road they're real good football team and so the I thought the punt return early was was a big play like when you put it on and talking to Sean Payton I brought it up and I said how good is this kid and he goes I think he's rare really really special everyone in our team thinks he can bring it back every time he touches it well there's one touch Jim says the whole bench watches from the sidelines because they think he's gonna score like I said every time again in a hurry and only good for a couple it's a locket who comes off a ten catch game here's how Carol got heard pregame warmups it's Cody Barton and you see this Jim this is him looking at Cody Barton before the game and a moment ago we just captured him looking at Cody Barton so Cody's gonna have to make a few tackles he feeling right now about job security this person picks up one maybe two person Hardy slipped a couple of times Tracy that's right Jim so after the drive he did change his cleats different shoes not different cleat lengths though we will see if that makes dit makes a difference you know he stayed upright longer this time well third and five coming up it'll also make a difference if you start to block the front you know New Orleans doc great job is very difficult running game and some of the detail though Brian Schottenheimer is a great job in Seattle formation [Applause] time for Russell slides to his left rose lockets down at the 26 Eve I Apple had one-on-one coverage but Lockett was able to outmaneuver him for 32 on that play Wow right here's luck it he had ten catches last week it's covered - he's gonna go out here he's gonna go back here block it's gonna go right through and because it's a three-man rush Russell is a great job moving around and then once he does this big place happen every week and lock it is the number one receiver really good young receiving corps after duck baldwin retired in the off-season find their identity there and they have early in this season 14 he came that back new cleats at all down to the 10 that's a 16 yard run watch the center he does a fantastic job on just a zone read and you'll see Britt just make a hole and he has two options there and because Britt fired off you have two choices and Carson picks the the B gap and does a great job and that's what makes it difficult I still can keep that ball here's a first down play back the person that's to his lap ten and then his jam by for Saints waiting for him as they move it inside the ten a drive that began back at the Seattle 36 and they they put an extra tackle in and Seattle last year really as the season went on and they couldn't protect as well you know with for certain you know different reasons the season went on they ran the ball very unique ways they put a lot of different people and I mean they play like extra tackles all the time and they started to run the ball well and Russell had a very you know some of his best statistic statistically some of his best stuff ever of his career second and seven coming off a career high completion percentage in that game against Pittsburgh last week 83% now on the run lost it to the end zone for the touchdown lock it again sit down to complete the 64 yard drive a really good football player it's proven to be one of top quarterbacks in the league very efficient player very strong arms knows where to go with the football a very good game manager knows key plays live with his legs keeps his eyes downfield I think he just does a good job of executing their offense at the Pacific Northwest seismic Network University of Washington where they measure in the region a little handoff to Carson we're about four and they have well talk about Beast quake there you go one of the all-time plays in fact when this hundredth year where everything's being celebrated in ranked this was ranked as the 13th greatest play in the history of the league Marshawn Lynch breaking nine tackles in that playoff game against the Saints is Seattle even seven and nine made the playoffs and eliminated the Saints the year after their Super Bowl win Harris Carson broke the tackle or two he might add a little peace quake law was picked up by the Saints that's Bell and everybody's looking around like the ball was whistled down but the Saints don't believe so this is gonna be close Carson who's had this issue with fumbles in each of the first two weeks [Applause] and blow it dead this week on the Saints like Cameron Jordan's bumble return last week was was he down apples gonna punch it let's see this knees down right before all that looks like it's out Jim oh well I started running back kind of break loose a little bit and I was talking my on the ball and I knew Marcus made a great play open field tackle and I figured to run it back prior when I see me so I was thinking top down punch on like we always practice one gotta make the tackle the other guy find the ball punch it out and I really see the ball I kind of just went in trying to close my fist little bit punch it down Kona cleanly so what do you see Jean I think it's a great ruling on the field of a fumble by the officials and I also was looking to see if the Seattle player was contacting the Saints player when he picked the fumble up and it doesn't appear that there would be a down by contact on the recovery either looks just like a great play and a great officiated play as well Wow Thank You Jean boy it's becoming a big issue for Carson who lost two fumbles off of last year and now he's lost three and the touchdown it's confirmed call was confirmed the Saints have scored again a non offensive touchdown but they missed the extra point look at what you try to do when you win on the road Cameron Jordan told us we get two takeaways he said he thought they would win the game well they got one takeaway and that went for a score they also got a punt return for a touchdown when you get those two plays I mean you've got to make the most of them even though the offense again hasn't done anything so far no receptions by any Saints receivers only two first downs if you statistically looked and said you're going to return a punt for a touchdown and score defensively you're gonna be probably a 90 some percent winner when you do that and those are big plays he's waiting for it tiptoes down to sideline yeah gain of about five Tracy talked about Chris Carson's fumbling issues while I spoke with running backs coach Chad Morton who told me he holds on to the ball a little loose to begin with so he in Carson spent a lot of time this week going over game experience game simulations holding the ball high and tight he even showed him footage of Provo running back Tiki Barber who Morton played with with the Giants he overcame a fumbling issue you can bet that will be a constant conversation this week Jim no question as another flag comes out on second and five you know and ball start offense number 88 five-yard penalty second down and distally with the false start there but this system there's a like a handful of systems in the league that the number one thing everyone knows turnovers is everything but for a team who's not going to give up the big boy that's Seattle's number one thing on defense don't give up the big play keep the ball in front of you rally tackle strip and keep your eyes on the quarterback and all of a sudden we're gonna get tipped balls all this stuff and on offense it's protective all you can't give it away that's your full system second and ten to precise and he's actually gonna lose a yard I'll be anxious to see if they play him a lot more you know at some point I mean he's had what three slips a fumble how many times do fun what you said no he's one more each one each of the first three games now I mean and again the company's had three slips in this game they're getting themselves in the hole there too and oh and you look at other teams a turnover here or turnover there all of a sudden you lose third and 11 Ivan have to go first half I'm gonna take off gonna take off for the change he's got it the whole lot to spare slidin down at the 50 the old baseball star able to slide in there for 18 to keep the drive alive wow this is the key you're gonna see right here the world linebacker he's gonna turn and run out and as soon as he does Russell now has a ton of space and that's why sometimes when you get a quarterback who has a lot of ability to move you don't want to turn you want to look at the quarterback you want to have eyes on him so that when he starts going it's a big hit from PJ Williams as that leads to a 2 yard pickup so precise now getting a chance to carry the football for the first time after catching three balls for negligible gains so it looks like they're just gonna give him this series after persons mistake on the last one cost them big that's a good point at some point you got to be like it's just he's not it's not going right for a minute second and nine okay escaping and taking it Wilson right near the first down marker I believe he has it nothing I'm marking the been a yard short [Applause] now this is the one area with Russell Wilson you're gonna see out here coming underneath an open player and it's gonna be CJ Prosise but watch this is the one thing that pocket collapses and Russell can't quite see it but his ability to move and you see cam Jordan just pushing that pocket right there Russell Wilson's as good as anybody in the league it okay I couldn't see it I couldn't find it boom still gets positive yards Carson's back in on third of the one I'm not sure I don't think he got it Sarah Thomas comes in from the first side on this spot and Mark Steyn kerchner from the near side they both have it a half yard short fourth fourth and less than one coming up a lot of things you can do here obviously just go for it that's obvious you can try and draw them offsides you can try and draw them outside to take a penalty move back five and punt it I'm going for this if I'm Pete Carril I got hit by a football already in this game I'm going for this taking my lumps oh I'm going for it Parsons the running back it goes to them again and Carson gets top cold and look at Dennis Allen fired up about his defense as he should be that's exactly the staple last year you couldn't run on this football team when they knew you're gonna run it they would shut you down it's a simple power play outside and you see downhill in a hurry by those linebackers and Davis the mario davis it is with the stick [Applause] the tennis I don't like it did he like that his defense did this Jim I couldn't tell you where he gets going right about right there to some sort of Idaho shimmy shake shimmy yeah there's some current running through that body [Applause] that was great good for him as his defense able to make the play two and a half to go first half as pressed middle to go and that is the first catch by a wide receiver that's again for five again Michael Thomas the leading receiver in the league through two weeks with twenty receptions has not been targeted so far that was the first one for a receiver right there for a catch and I tell you if you got to get Thomas involved he's at the top of your screen we can add on the backfield and he's looking for camara and at the last moments we would at the feet of yen we're back with a big third down for Bridgewater and the Saints third and five from their own 47 and six out of nine passing but most of those passes you see the completions have been all of the short variety well you see the empty formation one I want up top that's Camaro versus mcdougal a safety knows it's man-to-man nice catch for the first down then there is Michael Thomason you know I have one of the best buy receivers in NFL out here and I get to throw the ball to him whenever I feel like it and just use your guys you watch alpha make plays all day you watch Mike when you throw it to mr. Fischer catch so in that moment we knew that if we could convert right there and get Mike going we knew that we could get out to those guys people to get it over to the sideline to Jared Cook that's the first target to the tight end and that goes for a grab for another seven you got plenty of time you're already in field goal range you're going to kind of muddle huddle tell them what did you [Applause] snap the ball you run a play Seattle's gonna play a zone type of defense probably a little soft you could check it down in a second and three there it is checking down underneath chimera has the first near the 28 the verizon halftime report is coming up shortly JB and all the crew scores and highlights what's going on in the afternoon Jameis Winston party of three first half touchdown passes three first half touchdown passes bucks over the Giants at the moment first and ten Thomas one yeah that's gonna be just out of reach out of bounds with 42 seconds to go in the half like you said though Jim at least he started to recognize when he's one-on-one he's throwing it to him not gonna be a catch see that's the subtle difference right drew brees gets that ball out earlier just a little bit more and obviously we're talking about people only the gracious every walk so that's not who Teddy has to be but you need one of those plays to create points here second and ten setting up the screen chimera walkers in front inside the 20 breaks a tackle and he steps in for the touchdown twenty nine yards boy was that set up they had a couple of linemen out there and camara was able to just bounce off a hit then take it to the end zone now what a great play call here I mean he's like a human joystick you give him the ball he's spending he's joking and he's bouncing off of guys and as a quarterback when you can throw him a screen and you watch them just watch the play happening it's like man this guy he's a bad man and uh we're glad he's on our team and he's one of those guys who was wanting to lead us on offense Thomas to the near say they had that big third down catch that kept that drive going before the half that eventually led to the touchdown to Camaro who will get the handle and race up and take Seahawks with them for a gain of about 16 alvin kamara broke away this time for brownie well and you see the cover - they just talked about when that happens that means there's not one of the safeties down near the line of scrimmage so they need to run the football that's number one and you allow come here to go do that but when you see clowny on the edge got a lot of power there but man come here he can't even bran down I'm telling you rare rare specialty where they're 90 total yards for chimera an opening in the secondary and has the completion to Thomas as we were tipped off by Tracy to be looking for that a good gain of 18 for New Orleans and this is exactly what you do you want to put you the safety side inside is Thomas you're gonna put him inside now because wouldn't they're playing those safeties back there deep like you said it covered you and you got two guys out on a lot of time so put them inside make them like a tie that we have not mentioned Ziggy Ansah today the free agent signing on that defensive line for the Seahawks in his first game lined up on the nearside 94 the opposite side from unsub and they go with Murray for a gain of about three as you take a look at the quarterback numbers so far in this game a safe 11 out of 15 Bridgewater with the touchdown pass and you saw the graphic - on that first half summary the Saints coming in had only managed six points through the first two weeks two field goals total the first two weeks by the offense and until they found that touchdown in the last minute before the first half as the first off its a touchdown this the first time they've been able to really produce you're exactly right it's just it's been typically the Seattle teams making it hard on second and eight now Bridgewater will run for the first got a marker down on the field as right pushes him out near the 20 I think they're gonna get Camaro with a possible chop block you can't block someone low when he's getting blocked or some boughs top line offense number 41 15-yard penalty repeat second down well you see Armstead right there's going to block Kendricks and all of a sudden you go low and that's gonna get called every time and it really did not affect the play at all because Bridgewater was already leaving the building so to speak but you can't do that and he's called for it and that's five new penalty's for the game and they've all been on the Saints offense [Applause] second and 23 back to the Saint side of the field [Applause] when sidelines and ginn has the catch at about the 44 so they got a good chunk of it back it'll still be third and long gain of 10 here come back us he's in there similar route earlier that he missed Thomas on this time you just do a little more comfortably through it once to trust what you saw in the defense and we whip it in there Saints without Drake Juan Smith he's out with a high ankle sprain inactive today they need to get a bow no maybe six seven yards to be in Lutz range so seek Thomas down at the bottom right here watch his safety he's looking now he's double-teamed mr. Merrill that play puts field-goal into play to be about a 53-yard attempt for will Lutz who's coming on and that's a that's a great job that's that's playing the game here in right now third and 13 if you get one-on-one where we circled with Thomas you throw it there if not get enough yards dump it underneath try and get a field goal out of it well done by Bridgewater Tamara has been targeted seven times seven receptions moving a touchdown Luck's got favorable wind conditions here at his back 53 yards [Applause] comes up short but let's is pretty comfortable there's gonna be a call again Seattle who is that gonna be a first down it was on fourth and four oh ho illegal formation on the defense number 72 covered the center at five yard penalty results in a first half you can't cover up the center Tony no it's you'll see though 72 he's touching a part of the center's shoulders there and al woods with a costly penalty you see the center right there and if you're touching one side of them they don't want you in that position that is no-man's land on em you see specialty kicks and that's a big one special teams coming up huge once again for New Orleans with a first down thanks to the penalty this time now from the 30 Nass incomplete first time he's known in the area of chimera that it doesn't end up in a completion Puna Ford was reading that one out and there was no chance for that to go anywhere that's a tough one to read it's a fake reverse fake handoff and then a screen and it's a great job at defensive tackle Ford to snuff that one out second and 10 they split Thomas wide to the right at the top of your screen [Applause] faucet camara takes it for seven running behind his fullback Zack line teddy bridgewater when he was trying to figure out what to do to let go free-agent would become a starter love go to Miami one of the guys he turned to a mentor Bill Parcells is he a good coach your old coach he did a couple of good things I feel sure that's the way that relationship work sir he's watching right now third and three miss Bridgewater the Thomas let him spin around the defender right around flowers and gets it into a goal to go situation down at the bottom this is easy for the quarterback to see the safety comes down teddy bridgewater doesn't have a lot of looks like that today that's one on one you don't even look at anybody else look at the separation right there I mean watch he's one-on-one third and three he's got six yards of room just to throw a simple pass I mean that's he's gonna get the ball every time he's won I wanted and you're trailing that's only gonna keep happening [Applause] fight for every inch down to about the one that time he was able to break away from Shaquille Griffin just a simple screen you run out it's actually what it does do you want to look like your whole line goes left and you're really just running out and throwing in the flat but Camero you're just look at his jersey went from an extra-large to a xxx or small like the chances he gets the football but now if we're gonna have a whistle instead you got to give strong Payton credit how many different ways there's a timeout here I believe by Seattle shouldn't be a penalty there is no foul for 12 min on defense before the foul was called Seattle called its first charge timeout of the half second and goal second and goal [Applause] [Music] on the left hand side they go with the full-back and is going to be kept outside the plane you know it almost looked like they false started it might have got away with it but if you look at 75 there that's real close which is a huge penalty you can't do that when you're on offense you lose five yards you jump offsides on defense you're always trying to jump this count you see that on defense you only lose a foot on offense you lose five yards it's a huge difference big play for Seattle here if they want you know not to have to make this into a completely different game they need to stop watch a game over the top nope Bridgewater trying to go up high and their own and quickly and they do not have the touchdown the Seahawks stop them now what do you do they're gonna go for you can see he's looking down his play sheet fourth of them just a foot away but couldn't get the ball up it almost looked like the ball got yes lipped in his hand because you're just gonna pop that over the line he lost the handle it's a seven minute drive almost look it beyond it now fourth and goal and what they're gonna go empty there it might do the same thing again or there's motion by c'mere and you might just give it to him quickly Thomas with a touchdown [Applause] we knew that it was going to be a tough environment to come and play but we had to I know that we had to remain poised in the noise and we did a great job of doing it of course we had some things and some communication things go wrong early in the game but once we fix those things I were able to keep things rolling right down there are so many different things happening in that formation and then camara and motion hey you didn't even know how to begin to try to defend that that's just a great design that's why if you have a coach who comes up with something like that you know everyone gets a benefit it's just a great design here we're Seattle trying to come back after that it'll be on the first play Madden back at first in 20 looking looking looking how long can the secondary stay on there man as the pass is up for grabs it incomplete as Belle did not budge an inch against locket and it's only the second incompletion of the game for Wilson who's 15 out of 17 I mean this is a this is a coverage sack Jim I mean everywhere on Belle played that perfectly' lock it I mean but if you look it all the way across I mean nobody was open and Russell Wilson went through everybody on that play and still tried to make something late who Dixon who averages 48 yards plus oh there's the break channel needed it is fumbled by Harrison recovered by Seattle there's seven bugs Cody Park knows before the game coach I'll make it up to the I promise I guaranteed coach is coming over to him someone get a camera on that you might even headbutt him at some point but there is there is a penalty flag Oh Cody you get one shot the field is a recovery by Seattle after the play was over and sportsmen like conduct by the Seattle bench a non uniform player came onto the field the 15-yard penalty [Applause] so it will be Seattle possession but the loose 15 and watch Parton come down you know he just had to make a play coach I'm not the only one who has a nose for the football got the ball this gives Seattle a chance and I can tell you're a Seahawks fan that's yeah something like that tapping right here person never look like at solid footing again as it is trying to make a couple of cuts no gain [Applause] if you missed it earlier here is the pregame to walking off the field for some reason Cody Parton decided to throw the football in the direction of one of the assistant coaches and it found the nose of his head coach bandages for the time being and [Applause] this injustice great but here comes Wilson on second and ten [Applause] and in the direction of Metcalfe that wasn't the worst play though because nothing was open and Russell knew it wasn't open so he tried to get that ball out quickly to give it a chance for something because if you waited in our second there was nothing there how did they compete handle that pregame incident what would you who said if you were Cody Barton and that was Bill Parcells you hope he wasn't looking and goo that you turn on a looking pointed someone else I usually do that why did Jim say that present perfect end time time can short of the receiver van net and another marker down this ones in the secondary it's gonna be against the saints 26 PJ Williams [Applause] you know when Russell Wilson's running around you could see right there the hold and talk it just a great job of my goodness I'm selling like he's Andre the Giant guarding you but I can tell you right there that's I'm eight that's two plays now you get the fumble and you get that big play five minutes ago in there she's got an open man at the 20 it's just his second year tied in well they just love this kid out of the University of Washington wow this is a great design you make it look like a run everyone runs across and then Russell turns back makes it look like a bootleg I'm running out over here I found something with this young man who got injured season-ending injury early last year but they showed him a lot early in the season had been a defensive lineman for the Huskies until tight in his senior year look at Carson pushed out by Kline well and this is what I want to see Seattle needs to run the ball outside on the edges the Rams had a ton of success with tosses getting the ball outside pulling tackles and you know we've had a lot of stuff inside but not a lot outside and I think if you're gonna run the football now they got to be more the chances for explosives need to be there and I would see I mean sales got scored touchdowns now I mean field goes I'm I think it's four down territory already you're talking what Pete Carroll's decision should be so one for one for one today in the redzone only team in the league night every time in the redzone end up in a touchdown this season one to one here and it's over the head of David more talkative Saints defenders with good coverage on that one so this is where you want to tell your quarterback because you know a kicking a field goal here put you down 17 still three score game so it doesn't really help you you know at this point you tell them hey we got two downs here you don't have to get all six if you have to run and get three four yards that helps us if you check it down underneath that helps us if you have that if it's there take it did you see lock it's right in the middle of that field trying to find a spot right in that middle they run it when Carson he's and they hold on to the Nets again a play made by de Mario Davis he had that stop on fourth down in the first half and he makes the big tackle on third and six never let go of Garson I know that they're booing here but that's because they thought they weren't going for it when you're going for it I actually think the call is awesome it's just that Davis just read it perfectly I mean almost everyone thinks you're passing right there and you could have snuck away with an easy run for five or six yards give Moreland's credit for being prepared for that back to lock it on the inside and you got pressure coming here balls got to get up in a hurry maybe TK Metcalf at the bottom one on one here he goes working five to the end zone incomplete intended for Lockett who adds separation Wow that was so close and New Orleans after him and you see Matt he has two choices him or him he decides to go to this guy lock it gets back in the game no Seattle possession and its own 22 foot bro there is is tied in again for the fifth time they connect dis Lee you see the hurry up offense three scores this is where Russell Wilson you know can create a each player in a tough spots do it I don't wanna give up the big play they're gonna want to just over again [Applause] the man down the middle of the field Lockette pass was a little low that it hit the ground first I don't know we're gonna get a replay to see ruling on the field this is a catch they're gonna try and snap it quick did he get it oh I would throw the flag plays on on where'd they go that was a 24 yard completion again Russell Wilson I could get much past him when it comes to mechanics we're little nuances like that run them up to the line let's get that play going it's the right play defense is changing what they're doing [Applause] rustle changes back to what he was doing in this room second and eight play-action want to go along with it now we'll beat it out of bounds thrown in the area of Metcalfe that we probably was trying to find the rookie on a deep ball well really he's like he was changed to play they thought pressures coming quick passes and all of a sudden he goes go back to old oh and all go and he thought about throwing that in the middle and he just thought the safety was gonna get there and everyone's covered look at Cameron Jordan dis lis staying with him well that's that's when you have Russell Wilson he shakes back and forth so dis lis Cameron's looking at I'm gonna doesn't have a chance to awesome things who jump so free play here we'll sit down the middle of the field and his Tipton complete broken up by Marcus Williams intended for Locke head offside defense defense [Applause] at least got his voice back yeah Hendrickson and a little twitchy so it'll be a third and three and that's you practice this as a football team soon as someone jumps offside you snapped the ball and 90% of time you have everyone run a go route if they see what just happened empty formation is gonna make New Orleans check their defense and they're usually get someone to post here Wilson in trouble bounces off the hands of brown I mentioned in the first half how he had not been targeted in over a hundred plays on the year and that's the first time they threw it to him and he's unable to hold on and he's gonna want this one back just watch over here because the everyone's trying to communicate and get out of their coverage New Orleans bus and you have a wide open locket on the sideline and that was well behind him and was not on brown so now fourth down fourth down and three [Applause] second fourth daily snap of this half I see at 11:00 completion in the end zone the last time they had it in a fourth down situation when the wand pass he's open both by precise [Applause] good for 21 what a double move I'm gonna run slant no I'm not really the slackline is it climbed bit for it and it's a perfect time to run a double but for three they're gonna throw up quick right now great play first down from the 13 from behind they miss him Wilson throws it to the end zone incomplete over the head of net camp so given a second chance that was a huge fourth down conversion and caught by a player who's been given a second chance he's been injured so many times Prosise look at this Davenport trying to reach for him can't get him I mean Russell Wilson's got a little bit of that you know camara kind of quality where it's like it looks like they're just like I'm just gonna move second in ten little at the five and down to the three as Lockett so this is where you could get up and run the ball really quickly and Russell Wilson can decide to keep it or hand it off all of a sudden so situationally doesn't say get up get up quick first and goal if I like to look I'm gonna hand it off it's not a handoff to Prosise find it carry one of the Saints defenders pail with them though and then touchdown return in the first half fumble run back and they got two yards to go you warned us right at the very beginning before we even kicked the football watch out for Russell Wilson in the fourth quarter today who said this game is plush now this thing is huge right here you might keep this bar and postmasters the running backs looking at the edge over here you might fake it to him and keep that's Adam or the defender on that side he's keeping it great car Tony battle more stock up on the money you just know Russell Wilson if the games getting on the line he's gonna bring this and just you know his personality's gonna put it on himself coaches come back not the best decision you know that guy's right there he's waiting for you and Russell's gonna tell him I know I had him the whole time Lattimore had a big stop play on him even though it's not thrown to him just you're still going to use the relationship of the football to wear that pass interference would take place all right gene think Jason Hill keeps it for about six [Music] had a few snaps today nothing really out of the ordinary for what they asked of him to do and during the week and it was asked of Sean Payton what about Teddy Bridgewater he said I haven't announced a starter yet I was just to try to keep the other side a little off balance and as you should I mean there's a lot of if you have to spend time preparing for something else you're not preparing for wants to do you see it every week bananaphone second of five back to Bridgewater under center and they hold on to them after just one yard this time and the reason why that's so you know it seems a little bit like small but it's really a big deal because these players these are you know obviously the best players in the world in high school college and they all get to this point they recognize things very quickly and so you remember the you know through all the years you see all these plays if a guy sees the play once in college in high school you can run it against em in the NFL the other guys the sign is not there he just said just very quickly because he's a good player can't keep running plays over and over again they're too talented and they need to see it during the week bill comes in as a receiver he's at the top third and four over to Hill blockers in front he plows ahead and fights through the little crack for the first down car and Hill out in front of them it's the same play that they threw the touchdown on the old picket fence and you'll see he's gonna run down and you guys are all just gonna go ahead and block and you just run behind them for two to four yards right here and just pound up in there with a tough guy and you know what that's it's a great play call boy that ball is not in there for very securely it's both arms around it at the end but a valuable first down halfway through the fourth quarter you just got to give the ball now you know they're giving the ball to Tamara as he runs it garden spins around keeps going is typical alvin kamara run for another seven well i mean they don't you're not just strong this agile this quick this fluid ability to catch run routes unique I mean just the stuff that he has is ability I mean look it I mean nine rushes fifty-three nine receptions ninety-two he placed height Andy plays receiver look it he's like what do you want me to line up here yep then you just run him right down hundred and forty five yards from scrimmage second and three I toss it to and again so hard to get him down they never do that he's got a first and goal to go for New Orleans off a six yard run talking about him Jim you just hand it off like a normal running back and he sees the hole he's great vision great one cut breaks tackles but then let's light him up at wide receiver neck like he's Julian Edelman and run a little whipper out and then just get upfield and then I'm gonna get him in the passing game a little more and then just to make all bunch of people miss and make us all look really good that was a brilliant run right there off the two tackles this is one that just happened let it off that RAM check side who's had a very big game by the way today the right tackle and a timeout called by Bridgewater yeah this is RAM checks had a I mean the tackles here have played outstanding RAM check last year took over and went and played left he plays right I mean you're looking at you know what I think is probably the premier there's about two guys you could put right there with him he's the premier right tackle you throw a couple other guys in their Lane Johnson but he's played so good I mean just it's a wall over there then you got arm stood on the other side it's a great tandem I mean it's it's really impressive it he's I mean how many times we call Chloe's name did it em checks gone against him all game one time I think cuz he broke a tackle that's right just this is not standing unit and member they it took that draft pick well I loved him right away well they actually came in a traffic from New England yep that's right it was cooked Brandon cooks to the plate members for the 32nd pick that's right and they took RAM check with the last pick of that first round back in 2017 and that started this offensive line there even becoming really dominant so first and goal to go so you're just gonna run it to the left and if you have to look you can throw a smoke out here there it goes to the left side and stop maybe a yard behind the line this Seattle can keep him out of the end zone the field goal would keep it still a 2 score game Saints can basically knock them out if they can find five yards you almost have to run this three times I know you want to score a touchdown but the time is almost as important the seattle doesn't have three timeouts and you know you don't have troopers either in chedis done a great job today but you want this clock continuing to run on each of these plays you might throw some sort of a quick remember the old picket fence the head but you'll miss just have to line up and run this ball right out of second and goal straight I had Namara fix it back down to about before and again in New Orleans won't be in any big hurry they'll be able to run it down on this next snap down to about the 4:30 mark and then you're gonna get by the time if you kick the field goal you're gonna give it back to them at you know 3:40 and if that's the case one timeout they gotta score two touchdowns and two two-point conversions that's the safer bet than throwing this ball in the 40 seconds and onside kick stuff but Sean Bateman he's a gambler though I just say hey let's go and spread you out and then go ahead and throw a fit or spread them out here with Camaro and a slot to the left on third and goal pass Tamara is going to be the beneficiary of a KJ right penalty [Applause] that's a pic play pass interference defense number 50 the ball will be placed at the spot of the foul automatic first half so it's supposed to be a semi pick play here but right does a good job getting over the top of it but he can't control his body so he runs into camara and that's that's a penalty thing camara says you know what we're a yard away now just give me the football and I'll take care of business you know that's coming first and goal with the one touchdown New Orleans I thought he played really well I mean made some place you know with second effort balance he's extremely strong think about what they did Kansas City I can't see in that first half they shut them down they pressure car zero well you got it ten right open his locket when he's down at the 22 yard line [Applause] it's a great play design lockets just running these double moves kitten pulling laughs coming back ride and that's whether they're creating a lot of big places here with him down here eight catches 126 yards Wilson still doesn't go down because he throws out of bounds we have not had a sack for either side in this game Saints through two weeks had nine sacks which was tops in the league through two games but again nothing to report on either side today Wilson with another 300-yard passing performance just the second time he's done so in consecutive games and his brilliant career this now again in year eight and all the stuff going against you and it just had to turn into the punt return the fumble return touchdown those two scores and then you get two punts set to two and four yep you're driving but you don't score touchdowns in those drive and and also New Orleans scores one drive in the whole first half and that's why we've called it at that one point we said they have to play different from this Bank gosh so much just change your game the catch is made by Brown is first of the season need to operate with a little urgency now first and goal incomplete went back to brown Russell thought he was gonna go on a slant inside which was open he ran a stop or a hitch route a little miscommunication there [Music] Prosise confounded apart of the screen to enable the backfield second a goal listen he'll take off and he'll be look it's a challenge he did it last week against Pittsburgh you know we spied him a few times but you know when his eyes get down in the pass rush he's elusive enough you know to come out of some tackles the last time I think we played him in New Orleans you know he was dealing with an ankle and so you were getting more of a pocket but man he's tough to bring down and tough to contain [Applause] Wilson's totals up to 355 and there's another one to lock it the Giants game has gone final and the Giants have worn down a Tampa Tampa had a 34 yard field goal last play of the game to win it and missed oh we had that extra point here today and you have just see a bunch of just random field goals [Applause] now at this point you've really got to push this ball down the field I mean it's you can keep clipping them four five right on the sidelines but they're gonna start to jumping I toss good job getting it down lock it now setting a new mark he set his personal best of ten last week that's now eleven catches today [Applause] you keep thinking about not going for to know that I'm sitting here still doing I might get on to score this about the yourself now in the middle that's Turner and that's the red play at this point they're gonna now start to take away once you get inside that 40 35 Richard you Jim pump now to the sideline and throw behind the corner to pump to the side and take a shot down the field Wilson took a shot after he threw it and out of bounds he got hit hard by Hendrickson and he's back on his feet the best shot they've gotten on Russell all day today yeah Hendrickson who had three sacks the first two weeks I believe he caused the fumble last week that wasn't a fumble mm-hmm so that really probably was another one 45 seconds to go so we've been trying it to the sideline trying to take it away for a quick round stretching it out to the 17 quick spike quick spike or you run the same play again quickly get up quick spike toes the fastest right at a half minute to go so what you'll see is when you get up they put him here on the side he's a safety for deep but he's not really gonna stay here and let you throw something up here he's gonna get deep he's gonna get deep and you'll see the linebacker buzz out over here and that's why he keeps seeing them throw the ball right here in the middle because he's vacating that area because they want the clock to run so it's gonna be pretty much the same thing on defense and Russell can probably do the same thing again if he wants you much you gotta go in zone offsides for the Saints Russell guns it back at the end zone intercepted but again it won't hold up Marquez Williams has but he knows it gonna be five yards against the Saints repeat second down and that's smart because he could have thrown it inside but it's like take your shot outside into the end zone if you get one look at it and Russell knew it right away that's why I decided to do that till you got Metcalfe he's got the whole bad size and strength little jump ball in his directions not a bad idea either and then Russell has a little word with him maybe he just told him that his father used to be an offensive lineman for the Bears not that long ago Terrance Metcalf he's looking at him he's looking at him here's that jump ball Jim you had a chance it's just tougher though when you run the corner route to twist your body than if you're the guy who's on the sidelines looking back so you see how he runs a corner that's that's a little bit tougher right there whereas if you're running to go up the sideline you can kind of go up and get it easier I think you just got to throw it right inside and take your chances like take your chances now it just thrown some rays thirty-five he got rid of it in time to get one more snap and somebody gets a souvenir up in about the second row [Applause] now count as a completion and that's why you stayed at the end of the game folks so 12 seconds the next pass for Russell will set a career high fiftieth pass attempt he's got a 400 yard game 402 yards but not gonna get what he wanted the W did run around and make a play because they're not going to give you a shot right away you throw right pump it then move and then fire to the back of the end zone to the end zone knocked down and the Saints will have to snap at once before we put this one in the books Saints will be in first place Oh hold on got a flag at the goal line [Applause] before the pass was thrown holding defense number 24 five yard penalty from the previous spot automatic for style [Applause] yep that's a whole that's a lot of holes you know two or three times why would you guys throw that the game is over I don't understand I mean come on give us a break it's a forward pass is that legal since it wasn't the pass interference was a hole was not at the one it's at they ate one more snap [Applause] Saints with six defenders on the goal line now I got another penalty here flying on [Applause] floater another interception that won't hold up now this is an interesting one because I believe you're not allowed to get an advantage here and lose the five seconds there were two thousand in the playbook by the defense offside number 91 the penalty is declined illegal use of hands in the face number 94 five-yard penalty automatic first down one-time down so an untimed down see that that that's an advantage then so if you're on defense I would literally jump offsides and go sack the quarterback just just not let you score quickly now you got zero seconds good games over like if there were seven seconds there and you could throw a quick one I'm just saying that would that would be as came up a couple of years ago the game to Kansas City [Music] [Applause] spin away Jordan chases walk by dis Lee his fifth touchdown in seven games of his young career guess what we'll get another snap just a fantastic job Russell Wilson moving around and then playing all the way to the end you love that heart and spirit and then distally with the great catch [Applause] and that's the end of the game and that's it we will not see an extra point sorry to break your heart on that I know us prepared for something cool the rough day from the pregame warmups on the Saints win it
