welcome to the Kalashnikov USA how-to video series we want to congratulate you on your purchase and let you know that the Kalashnikov USA family stands behind its products and that we are here to support you make sure that you work in a well-lit and clean environment making sure your tables free of ammunition and that you are wearing proper safety equipment before cleaning and lubricating your shotgun make sure that you have field-strip your shotgun properly you can refer to one of our how-to videos on how to disassemble and reassemble your shotgun properly we recommend that you clean and lubricate your shotgun after each use in your first step you're going to remove your gas regulator once removed take your bore brush insert into the gas tube to push out the gas buck and set that aside after you've removed your gas buck take some bore cleaner apply it to your boar brush and run it through your gas tube to remove I'll build up and you can do this about two to three times next you're going to run it through your barrel and you can do this two to three times next take an oil patch and run it through the barrel a few times making sure to only oil the barrel and not the gas tube next take a clean rag and wipe down the interior of the receiver taking note that the rails and corresponding areas followed by a wipe down of the bolt carrier and the bolts making sure to remove any build-up and excess oil finally you're going to lubricate using the following diagram now we can reassemble your shotgun for a detailed explanation on how to reassemble your Kol shotgun go see your how-to video on field-stripping the shotgun all the information contained in this video can be found in your owner's manual which is also available for download at the collection of cough USA website at www.att.com/biz
