June 2020 Fairyloot unboxing | A different kind of magic

hi I'm trying a new set up for this video because my ring light my tripod were already here so welcome to another video this is going to be an unboxing for the June fairyloot box which I am very very excited to unbox also fairyloot were very very kind to actually send me this box in exchange for an unboxing video so thank you very much fairyloot for sending this through to me I cannot wait to open it I have not opened it yet it arrived like half an hour ago so let's open it let's see what's inside the June box I want to say there's two books inside this box I could be wrong I don't even know what the theme is I mean let's just open it and find out what the theme is first I guess I'm really bad at remembering the themes in advance for this because there's so many fantastic themes but this is a different kind of magic here is the theme card we've got some people on the back of a very large animal and she has some antlers and he has some magic coming on his hand it's cool it's green I like it I can see a box ooh a box Alice teapot loose-leaf tea infuser I don't drink tea and I've got a million of these in fuses but still ahh oh they're so cute it makes me wish I drink oh my god oh that's so cute it's a little teapot and it's got a little thing I don't know this is cool but this is drink me oh my god so you take the lid off and put the tea now I wish I drank tea because this kind of thing is so cute so this is obviously inspired by Alice in Wonderland we've got the little teapot and then we've got the little drinky sign that relates to when Alice goes through the rabbit hole into the room and she has the option to drink or eat things to make a bigger and smaller so yeah really nice thank you I can see some fabric is it socks is it socks? is it socks?! it is socks! oh I'm making a mess it's bone season oh my god it's little ankle socks yes I love these kind of socks because everything I wear is kind of trainers with cropped jeans at the moment so these are inspired by the bone season by Samantha Shannon and they are fantastic let's take this off of them you can I have too many socks so good win always always could do with other pair of socks okay there's a coaster set I'm excited elemental coast we have got fire, earth, water and add air/wind very cool I like that these are in a Pentagon as well - or is it a Hexagon? hmm for those four little coasters there I like these kind of things because these are really useful as well I have so many spots where I put drinks but I just have coasters everywhere so I like what they all match that is a very cool box item I very much enjoy we've got to land loads and I love the way that Fairyloot put their little stamp on these kind of things and the fact that these are not in plastic packaging is a win for me so I think we're going to open this one first which I'm gonna guess is some kind of pin let's find out it's some kind of pin it's from the shadow between us inspired enamel pin love is an excellent motivator to kill there we go there's the pin I am building enough of a pin collection to be able to set up my pin flag because at the moment the pin flag has one pin on it so I'm getting there it's an iron-on patch from the Starless Sea with a bee on it that is so pretty I always think I really want these kind of things on something really really important it's just gonna stay that forever like a denim jacket or something and then I always think about it so much that I just forget to ever do it but this would look cool on the back bottom part a denim jacket I think I'm trying not to look at the book because there's one book in here that I can see already but here's some artwork of people that I don't know but I will tell you guys later when I look at the spoiler card but there's some artwork okay okay the book oh-hoo-hoo okay that's stunning this is book one for the fairy box this is the gilded ones by Namina Forna on the front it says outcast by blood warriors by choice that cover is beautiful on the sprayed ahaha on the back it says are we girls or are we demons are we going to die or are we going to survive in this bold in a mercy fantasy young heroine fights to save a world that would dare tame her and discovers she has her own fiercest weapon that looks really good it's for fans of children of blood and bone and black panther I very much loved children of blood and bone and Black Panther is amazing - so I am super excited to read this that's so pretty it's so pretty then we've got the tarot cards which I think are inspired by Victoria Schwab's darker shade of magic series - what do you think let me know guys the card says that they're inspired by throne of glass which confuses me - I am confused because they definitely look like a darker shade of magic to me they definitely look like hooter Schwab inspires surely that's got to be Lila Bard it's been a while since I read the series but I absolutely adore it and yeah that's the red coat, surely! I don't I'm gonna check that one but let's get to the main event see top I'm gonna pull it out this book is forest of souls by Lori M Lee I have not heard of this book so I will read what the blurb says it's about I have no family no home no talent other than fighting if I'm not to be the shadow than I am nothing I am tired of being nothing after years of training to become the Queen's next royal spy (I'm gonna completely butcher the name pronunciation) Sirscha Ashwyn's plans were derailed when shamans attack and kill her best friend okay that sounds quite interesting I like the cover a lot because I like the detail I like a cover that way the more you look at the more you see but there's like a little spider climbing on top of the font and things like that let's have a look underneath I like underneath even better look at that I love these kind of details and of course we have got - god I can't do this why people wanting to watch my unboxings - there is some art on the dust jacket well I don't imagine it's probably signed as various books do tend to be gotta make a mess of this unboxing yes sign beautiful oh wow but that was a lot in this box this was a big box I will recap everything we got we've got the purple floof-ness okay let's recap what we got I'm gonna read it from the spoiler card so you guys can see who designed each item as well so the first item was a pair of socks that are inspired by the bone season by Samantha Shannon I love love love these socks, love the design on them as well and these were designed by team at Fairyloot who are fantastic designers then we also got a Elemental coaster that are based from avatar last airbender right okay haven't watched/read that but I am aware of it these were designed by @noverantale I'm so bad at pronouncing these names. Anyway then we've got the Starless Sea patch which is obviously inspired by the Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern which is an amazing book and this was designed by @dustandpages fab design I'm really what bit on my denim jacket then we've got the shadow pin feature and quote from the shadow between us which is a book by Tricia Levenseller, I haven't read it but it was featured in the February box, so I do have it on my shelves I moved it the other day so I don't exactly where it is and this was designed by @jezhawk then we've got the tea strainer which was of course inspired by Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll the book that was included we've got two books the paperback book was the gilded ones Namina Forna this is a beautiful story that Fairyloot cannot wait for us to read apparently it's got full cover and spring edges and the book becomes available to the general public in spring 2021 wow that's a really early copy of it I didn't really finish to the button that it's an oh no that looks like a finished copy I'm very impressed about I'm really excited to read that one and then we've got the new to tarot cards which are the two and ace of cups these are designed by @gabriella.bujdoso and they are apparently inspired by throne of glass series but I'm still pretty sure that they're inspired by a darker shade of magic but I could be wrong and finally the beautiful addition of forest of souls by Lori M Lee, is tale of destiny and sisterhood filled with shamen magic in this epic story newly awakened abilities attested as darkness looms and the kingdoms on the brink of war this exclusive edition for fair elite has an exclusive cover artwork on the reverse dust jacket by @arz28 and it's signed by the author there's also of course an author letter included and some character art which I always love so this was the June family box I absolutely loved it I think my favorite items I love the tea strainer, but also don't use those kind of things but decorative wise eyes definitely said I don't have my kitchen I love the design of the socks but ultimately this book just looks so good it looks stunning just that color I adore like great box really really enjoyed it well I'm very new you guys have done it again very much worth it and thank you guys so so much for sending me this box in exchange for my unboxing if you guys would like to check out Fairyloot I'll leave the links down below and when their subscriptions open back up again you can check that out I am gonna go and try and fit these books up to my shelf this is the problem we're having at the moment I'm like oh new books whether they go where will it go I'm gonna get that go I hope you guys enjoyed this new location I'm just gonna move about my room also my nose is so shiny for my ring light and I think my hair is still drying so we've got that as well but hey I wanted to get this unboxing film so I could open the box I'll catch up with you guys in another video if you did like this one please give me thumbs up you can comment down below what you thought of these items and you can subscribe to see more of my videos I'm always gonna be posting up unboxings bookish content and flocs quite regularly thank you so much for watching keep smiling and stay positive
