that's right people we're up in him welcome to the 20th annual joint Festival in Clarksdale Mississippi for starters I attended my first cruise in ever the cruise in was part of the cruising the when I go to sleep my dreams always the same and I see myself sitting on a bar stool sucking good whiskey in good champagne telling you the juice [Music] thank you [Music] without you there [Music] overnight time come oh that's the flag of the room another teardrop fall in my lonely room I said Ain't No Love in the heart [Music] in the heart of town [Music] are you not around the Juke Joint Festival had a petting zoo from Blue Springs Mississippi [Music] and they also had the famous Ghost Riders Tim the Wild Thing leopard and the Ghost Riders [Music] [Music] [Music] I took an early lunch break around 11 o'clock at the cruise end by this time this Corvette cruised into the cruise end now that's what I'm talking about hell state and now it's time to get myself together get back on these streets and get me some more of these Blues [Music] [Music] happiness [Music] only thing I wanted to have a little peace [Music] it's not even 12 o'clock yet and the festival is getting full let me make my way past Ground Zero and head to the main stage to hit some more of these Blues foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] these Blues ain't taking no prisoners today if this music can't move you then I don't know what to say a couple of more rides came to the cruise in the blues is worldwide they're reaching way down south all the way to the Andes Mountains of Columbia how about we check out these Blues missed from South America the Carlos Elliott band featuring Bobby chantillo from Washington DC [Music] [Music] around [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] ice cream now it's new ones I ran into a couple of my former church members as well I gotta visit my old church one of these days I also met a couple of people who followed the firebird travels it was nice to meet you Mr cotton from Louisiana and Mr Ginger from Jackson Mississippi it's a little after one o'clock let's see how much more of these Blues we can get into [Music] [Music] [Music] they even telling you it's a setup don't prove them right [Applause] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] it's about two o'clock and these Blues are not letting up it doesn't matter your age color or nationality anyone can play the blues and everyone can get the blues but never forget what these Blues came from and the struggles that our Legends had to endure for all of us to enjoy these Blues as we know it today [Music]
