big boy alrighty now I gotta say welcome to the neighborhood juice world welcome to the neighborhood my brethren oh everything brother how you feel the first thing that we do when we come to the neighborhood we don't talk about how tire so you had to be asleep about three oven I've been perfecting my craft paint the grind good though that's the best part amen now when you say you haven't slept in three four days that mean that you've been extremely busy though but busy is good how busy have you been and and at one point juice I'm pretty sure that there's times when you're not as busy beforehand yeah you don't know saying so do you kind of embrace how much is going on right now yeah I just it's surreal so everything happens so fast um that's kind of a blessing though cuz I'm not caught up in my head you know I'm saying I'm not having stopped and got like lost in this also full of myself or anything so you're not looking at like you know anything that's charting are you you hold you acknowledge it and you see it but you feel like it's definitely not time to slow down and start patting yourself on the back yeah I don't really check like that nah I just people tell me stuff I don't even know what's the dress with platinum relations to thank you thank you so I really somebody tell me I'll take a second to thank the man upstairs what does it feel like now because even though you say it's happened fast you don't I'm saying there's always that role of like man am I really getting on you know saying like are people paying attention did you ever get to a at a point juice where you were like like man it's not happening um not fully when I started right before all this stuff took off I kind of like took a step back it was like dang what if this ain't you know saying what if this ain't what I'm supposed to be doing yeah I kind of had like a look like a little bit like not even a lot of it was not enough to stop but enough to question exactly really then did you think like if it ain't this what is it do you have a way cuz I I mean I'm I'm an intelligent person but as far as like school and stuff like that I couldn't really learn like everybody else like I could I can't sit in the classroom and learn like I can't just sit they try to make everybody learn the same way and that could mess some people's lives up you know what got you into into music and not just into it but making music there's been a sudden spin in my life though my whole life um and I think I started like freestyling when I was real real young oh I think maybe about a second at their great you start freestyling or you start hard to just get like really enjoying music oh I've been enjoying music for what was what was it like growing up like in and not just like oh influences like like what was some of the the taste of music that you enjoy oh says there's still a really big wind fan I'm a really big jay-z fan fan future have you had anyone that acknowledged you that you like damn they know my music yeah who has it been Oh future do your future got anything oh you want to give us an exclusive even if you lying about it I'm gonna do it tonight I mean that's that's the reason why I stay up I mean you know I do love fresh runs like the radio stuff and I'm on tour at the same time I do a concert and then after that I'll be ready to record how old are you feel my my asking 19 19 years yeah and about to say that do you feel like it's just beginning yeah for sure what do you want to do and I know it's not like a grown-ass man question but what do you think next year would look like in two years in five years um you know hopefully you know what my worth well my work ethic and just the way that things are moving I'll be you know five five ten steps ahead or on there I know why the spelling wrld in all capitals that was like a social media handle and they won't let me spell the world right already ah because somebody had something that yeah eventually it kind of like got some meaning behind it it works out yeah and eventually just I was just thinking about it one day and I just kind of just say like this my music is kind of an illustration of what my world is is this oh is there any like any in inspirations like where that's outside of music why'd you say you know what I'm in the game because of this or this keeps me going or it had me come this far um a lot of uh a lot of basketball players and stuff did you play ball yourself you know I still love it really though 14 I don't know I like the bugs okay even though I'm from Chicago Bulls got a lot of work to do do you not gonna grab a trumpet and jump into yourself LeBron there's room on a bandwagon right LeBron is one the best players ever touched the hardwood you know I'm glad the trumpet the trumpet drums and everything man so if it wasn't what you doing right now and do you have anything that you're like man if it wasn't this I would be um if I wasn't making music oh no yeah cuz I wasn't for know where's my mom money on college how does your mom feel about where you are now she's very proud that's dope fingers cheerleader that's dope man I mean I love that you acknowledge that too man cuz that that's the same way I'm juice man like I never had to really go outside of my home plate because everything that I needed I saw in my mom I saw the sacrifice I saw the hard-working single parent I saw everything my mom was mother and father at the same time so when I got on we got on yeah you know what I'm saying and just looking at some of the background with you like how you hold your mom up yeah you know what I'm saying that shows what kind of person you are as well now did your mom is your mom religious she religious yeah like extremely religious are not extremely oh yeah I mean we she yeah I want she's spiritual right how does she feel about you getting into the music business I mean she knows me above knows it's a place that's catchy but home ground obviously I'm still learning you know working my way through certain situations but I am grounded at the end of the day I got my feet planet what's been your biggest struggle as an artist um so far and I think I really had me any struggles like that so far not anything that knocks you to decide or made you slow down just easy hurdles you could probably get over yeah everything has been everything has been small does your mom know how well you're doing now yeah she know exactly who juice world like the the Sun is like how she got to share you with the world now she was yeah she said she know all your like lyrics and stuff yeah how important is SoundCloud to you didn't did you know how much of the world existed there when you got on like how many people were paying attention cuz I even with the Lil's they said it's over 8,000 Lil's that's just registered on soundcloud were you ever afraid of being kind of lost in there I feel like the everybody starts out like that because everybody know that SoundCloud is huge before when you signed up for it you know what you're getting into and you see all these people blowing up I watched Gotti blow up from SoundCloud oh my watch Josh say you know our px i watch Lomo SoundCloud beat a lot of different people and there's a lot of people myself well it's a lot of people that I probably I still won't ever see it see certain places yeah yeah how did you know you had turned a corner from people paying a lot of attention to you from SoundCloud oh I didn't just kind of hit me I just I just I don't I never really people did you feel like at one point juice that you were dropping in music like did you know people were paying attention or where you just drop the music like I'm just gonna flood I was just dropping music when I when I felt it was time when did you know that was it somebody that recognized you when were you looking at numbers when did you know like okay this there's something happening in my numbers were big to me at this time but I got in contact with her no baby baby brother g-money DJ victorious that's hard adjustment going from the liberties of posting whenever you want put in your own timeline to be in the industry and people demanding things from you I mean at the end of the day I still got I could post what I've owned SoundCloud financially you may not be a smart decision to do it you know that but like compose whatever I'll go what did it feel like when when the big dogs start coming like when you hear like the inner scopes of the world they're like does that does that make you feel any different to what you've been doing already but they came at you um it makes my stomach hurt a little bit why cuz it's just incredible overwhelming mm-hmm and it's been so many not just artists but so many different genres of news in that's been through that Interscope can I ask you why did you sign we major as opposed to just saying you know what I'm just gonna keep it juice world I'm just gonna continue what I'm doing it's some things that major labels can do that she's gotta make sure you have a good deal I don't think there's anything wrong with signing to a major label as long as you not getting no yeah there's no sign hinge and you're the same person that people already that had you you know saying yeah did you have anybody that felt like like man why did you sign or did this your did your audience understand people understood this like well like anybody that this questioning that is just like I'm making a living off like my passion well we're not now and especially if you could put I always say man juice is putting this with that you already got this you don't know saying if somebody come with that and that person that machine can help you do what you're doing then this and that only gets you more eyeballs more years you don't and and and whatever message you're trying to get out there and convey then the dissonant that as long as you don't change who you are there's absolutely nothing wrong with it idea do you ever feel vulnerable putting your life experiences in your music you talk about heartbreak a lot everybody really though is that is that we're all girls are the same in that is that is that when it comes from at that moment [Music] yeah it's just me showing people around me oh man I'm saying everybody we trying to understand the concept of perfection will probably drive us all insane at this table and we just said and thought about being perfect cuz it's impossible for us to think that cuz we don't know the perfect is oh we know how we never achieve it yeah we know how to do a spell to work mm-hmm some people don't even do that did you think that people were gonna have a little bit of that kind of reaction for all girls are this course because there's something I was just like I literally just took I mean people we say all guys are the same thank you is literally just like you get to a certain point in your life or in like a situation where you just like okay this is a pattern and I've seen this and that's what comes out you know so it wasn't really I wasn't like yeah all girls are safer like it was explained to me what the EP what too soon is to you and why was it important for you to to drop that um it was just my thoughts on just a vase yeah it's just kind of my take on it my outlook on it and like an honest outlook cuz you know how like when people die people love the claim no flipping in a graves cuz I've had people love the claim people that can't defend themselves say stuff about people that can't defend themselves and I'm I wasn't going to come out saying oh yeah so I was my homey and we was close people lie bro you get a man and I can't nobody tell you you know it's probably a couple people that know like whether you lying or not but somebody that's dead can't defend themselves so I made those two songs um just that was like an honest thing I never met people in my life oh you never had Pete no but you still consider when you say lad you know you still consider like like even if you don't know him handshake you know yeah I never met him yeah explain to hang out you had a couple like deep conversations talked on the phone a few times um he and I think the positive stuff to say for real bro from this point of view that we ever really see eye to eye like that but yeah nothing we're positive we have respect for each other than the day and that was that's what was gonna kind of lead into a friendship it's two different personalities his mind is my set is on a whole nother young Sam do you remember specifically what that positivity was like what did he say she said make sure to keep all negative people out of your life and just make sure that you have the energy what was your last like as far as time wise the last conversation with exes far before you before you pass maybe like we gonna have to believe that and so even with with those words in those conversations even if you don't know word for word like oh this is what exactly what was hit you remember that moment and that's the moment that you'll continue to carry with ya and the artwork is the first conversation we have that man when you when you hear situations like like that you know like and I mean it's it's across the board where you saying you know cats dying from either violence or you see you know it could be in addiction you don't know saying and where are you at now when it comes to you know either zan popping pill poppin whatever it may be where where's juice world at now I mean there's a lot less okay that's why I think that's worse than crack mm-hmm because you know somebody doing crack they know they messed up right you know you strung out you doing crack you know you messed up you know you out there but there's you could take them and think you fine like you perfect and like you self-destructing like that you find yourself doing more or doing like like damn I think I think I am tripping it okay cool it again so what about when you were how did you get yours because a lot of people associated with certain things I got to be creative I like the mood that I'm in but SBS though cos ends you can't do nothing I was you can't after a while whatever comes that becomes your sober like you could function but you're not yourself and you black out at random times and you come back at random I like it here am i with this person why am I in jail like what made you kind of step away from it they're saying like the way I felt no one place in the world JUSA love everybody with the tattoos you know what I'm saying like why you have why you choose not to have anything going on your face at the moment yeah I don't I don't understand I wanted a face that one oh yeah 11:10 it was gay and burn man and it was just a count the people who faced ass away it was so cool so Gucci as well so I'm like bowtie so like I want to face that so bad I want to work because of them I want to be a part of the people that had them come around like the end of 2015 it's 2016 I became the norm or they yeah and now everybody got it here did you have something picked out for what you wanted on your face like a specific do you have any any tattoos - no Eddie yeah so things you got with what's the other one nein nein nein nein as opposed to as opposed worship asana worship what are some of the mistakes that you feel that people pay attention to I saw that you tweeted I feel like some people only pay attention to the mistakes I make and disregard the good things I do um that's the people that know me personally I fly some people just had a tendency to not count a blessing not putting myself on a pedestal calling myself bless it but I'm going off or what somebody told me I was stood up so in my head I'm liking from such a blessing to you now I'm I always getting dragged through the mud stuff that I've done and they don't need to be stuff that I'm doing currently stuff that I've done awesome before I met you type stuff mm-hmm so just like don't get it I'll active are you on your on your social media Instagram I'm pretty active Twitter are I tweet a lot it depends of happiness I feel sort of full we can't come back and do you ever read any of the comments other good ones are you good we do do the bad ones if you hear anything that's negative does that poke you are not not anymore it used to and it never really probably is like hey just catch my attention we've all got a lot to say like open feel for everybody yeah man yeah if you could take your phone or whatever device and you could you don't you didn't have do you feel like you have to be on Twitter or Instagram no I broke my phone the other day no hmm so now that you got your phone back or you got another phone are you back on no I mean yeah yes so it's almost like you have to break it on this thing oh my god I believe you will I'm gonna try to put me over her knees wasting my hey let's not do it because mom's you don't see just what a quick beat it's not really like oh really I really value that stuff like yeah that's really good really mean too much money don't even I like I like I like I don't really care about it I bet you won't go in your pocket and give us all your money like what inspired of grabbing the sample shape of my heart from sting and lucid dreams um actually it was all my producer yeah since it to me already finished right you know I'm listening to it I wrote that song in like 20 minutes I was in turned it on and my mom was like a that staying and I heard I heard the nya song oh hey that's ting and I'm like I know who was and I listened to all types of music so I was surprised as well yeah I was surprised I didn't know so I went and listened to a couple of his songs it was hard you said you caught on to that nos had used it as well when we see someone that's that like kind of a little bit newer you know you're 19 years of age we're starting to see a pattern of people not paying homage or not even recognize that somebody's on some of these people man but for you to bring up nas that lets me know what kind of cloth you're cut from as well how much do you respect those that came before you part of the reason why I kept juicing my name wasn't only for two part it was for three rappers actually to pop Soulja Boy out of tape cause just mixtape and in a MC juice so you you understand not not even understand because a lot of people if you if you at a certain point some people don't look back and I can I can understand that but then you get some that do look back and they want to erase so they want to you know Dookie on you know our our legends do you don't see it you don't see a lot of people come in to rock music and say oh man if such and such an F this and after that but we kind of do that so when we do get people that come into the neighborhood man and not that you have to but being that you did bring it up I love when I see people that come in and in this game now and they understand why you know who carried a lot on their bags for sure you don't saying and to keep keep these legends going cuz you're just 19 you don't know say anything at one point nas was 19 you know Rock Kim was 19 I skew anybody that you put in there and now we put them on legendary pedestals five Mike and at this moment you're on your way to becoming that next person you don't know saying so continue to do the work that you're doing man and continue to honor your mom's and it seem like you're extremely humble bro and and you could tell by the way you carry yourself it's an upbringing mm-hmm you don't know saying so hopefully man we see you in the neighborhood again wishing you nothing but the best thank you getting up man back at you thank you for getting up and coming in and hanging out with alrighty juice world in the neighborhood big boy [Music]
