foreign [Music] it's Jason Here Local Tech experts with another build for you I just finished test benching all the parts I'll put a link for the parts uh in one of the corners and also I just made a video about how I test batch these things so I'll put a link up there as well if I can figure out how to do that today's build is going into this Johnsburg D31 mesh it's a white one I believe there's three variations to this case um well six if you count the colors black and white but the three variations are mesh so it's got a mesh front solid just a solid front and then there's one that has a LCD monitor as well I'm guessing just for stats uh temperatures and stuff like that but um the LCD model was it was 80 Australian dollars more than this one which was um 90 Australian dollars um for some reason the mesh one is ten dollars more than the solid one go figure less material more more cost um but um I'll get this out of the box and give you guys a closer look it'll be my first impressions it's still sealed um I also thought during editing I'll actually bring up the uh the stats for this or the spec sheet for this so if I get anything wrong in my first impressions it's I'll correct it with the with the actual um but the actual diagrams and measurements and stuff from from the website all right I'll get stuck in thanks guys all right so here it is out of the box guys I don't think I've ever unboxed one of these things without giving myself a static shock um so the first impressions is very vibrant white so the front panel is mesh one as I mentioned before it's um I can't seem to remove it here but I've literally just taken it out of the box and haven't looked at it at all so the Top's two thumb screws and it's just slid off from the back um a lot of these cases are um holding the glass on with the with the top panel so I would assume it's the same on this one um yep so it's a ball and joint type of uh type of mechanism for that side panel puts that to the side as well um looking on the inside it's got nice mesh at the bottom looks like we're in for a 360 at the top as with most Johnsburg cases they have chosen to put the powers to play in the front here looks like it can take pretty long ones they I have a long power supply that's going into this one it's modular so it's um I'll see if I can looks like you might be able to move that up a little bit possibly because I do want to get a 120 fan in the front there if I can um nice nice big cutouts for the tray no grommets for the the cables plenty of screws in there it's longer than I thought it would be I thought it'd be sort of half length but I guess that's for the power supply I sort of put a shroud here on there around the back so they route the power from from the back to the front with a cable that's how they can sort of get these sort of different form factors a single 120 in the back there this side looks like it just pops off as well yep let's have a look at what the hard drive and cable management stuff in the back here let's see okay hmm I wonder if I'm gonna be able to get a 3.5 in there I'm not too sure there's a nice big channel here for for the cable management plenty of tie-offs here you can see a 2.5 inch uh Bay there and a 2.5 here but I don't see any 3.5 so that might be a problem but uh I'll see how I go I'll have to have a look at the manual see if there's any mounting for 3.5 inch drives um as I said the front mesh power button your single USB 3 headphone and USBC so it's very minimal um see if I can pop this off okay so the bottom one pops off so I don't know if the top one top one looks yep that one can pop off too so they just they just come off like that not too bad nice nice material it's nice thick thick Steel yeah John spur have come a long way the uh from the from their Beginnings um yeah plenty of plenty of screws and stuff in there generally I like to try and use the screws that they give you in the case because um you know they're gonna they're gonna fit the standoffs and stuff like that so yeah I'll use those uh all right I'll uh set it up for building and get into it hi everyone so I'm back in my uh in my office I've completed the actual full build now but um this is going to be sort of at the start of the video my desk buddy today is a little Masterpiece laser beak um he hasn't moved I think that was probably the last one um he can probably sit on my mic stand almost anyway um I'm on the I'm on the Johnsbury site here um this one's for the day 31 mesh with the screen um basically your dimensions are the same though um you can see in this image here you can move the power supplies around like sort of slide up and down I think there's three positions or maybe four four positions you can have it there I might removed it into the very top position because I wanted to get a fan in but even with it in the top position I wasn't able to get a 120 fan in the in the front there but they they have it so that you can move it around for different length graphics cards but still be wary when you if you have a long power supply like mine um because it still sticks out from the bottom quite a bit so but I think my my graphics card it's the um RX 5700 XT I think it's 330 mil so I think it'd be okay like that um so moving down into the actual specs here um you've just got all the dimensions and stuff so yeah those two ssds mounts that I mentioned are fine there is a 3.5 inch Mount I guess you call it it's just screwed straight in from the bottom it's just a on the floor of the case basically yep it's an ATM mini ATX case ITX um not not too many DTX boards around um yep so the front i o I think I went over in the in the case breakdown already um CPU Cooler I just used a stock cooler but um if you want to put a towel on in there I don't think you'd have any have any clearance problems really um top mount fans I put two 120 mils that says so you can put no I put one 120 mil in the top it says you can fit three um that would be so you can get a 360 radiator up there as well or two one two 140s so for a radiator it's a 240 280 or 360. the single single rear 120 um you can fit two 140 mil fans in the bottom I put a single one down there is what I ended up doing it does say a front 120 but I I'm dubious about that one um but yeah anyway back to the video guys thanks [Music] okay [Music] [Music] doing crazy dreaming you're the reason why don't try to save me [Music] yes yes [Music] [Music] all kinds of crazy [Music] some days [Music] emotionally [Applause] [Music] you got me baby [Music] don't hurt me baby [Music] yes [Music] [Music] emotions [Music] so this one was quite a pleasure to build into guys um you have to hide a lot of cables under that shroud there but it's it's got a lot of room there so you've got a bit to play with um I could have put another 140 fan down the bottom there I suppose I've got the cable management very neat the channels are all very handy and they sort of knocked it out the park on that one when you sort of take a step back and look at it it looks like it could very well belong on us in a studio like some kind of designers machine or something but um it's got that Ikea sort of look I guess going for it the mesh is a nice touch good airflow um I'll catch you on the next one guys see ya
