base umpire so he told vato to shut up or something and vato said don't talk to me i wasn't talking to you and then the home platinum says don't have to say anything to him like you don't have to say anything to third base on benvado says i'll say stuff to you then he says okay you're out of here now you're out now vado says well now i'm going to talk right to he says okay all right and now the ump is trying to turn his back to vato so vado won't yell at him but this whole thing started because vato's back was turned to this ump and the ump yelled at him so now it's like but you're doing you're making hit you're getting mad at him for doing the thing that you did and now you had to say something says bell you just had to say something now take a look at this the umpire has his radio on his back which i think vato thinks is goes to new york city where the main replay umpires are i i think because eventually vato's going to get to his back and he's going to talk right into his ass and say something so maybe he's just smelling his butt or maybe he's talking to new york but he's mad you're [ __ ] wrong don't [ __ ] tell me how to play the [ __ ] game [ __ ] kidding you [ __ ] [ __ ] hit the hard be there so bottle gets ejected this kid's waving goodbye and then he waved to him wave to him hey we're waving by haven't you ever seen an ejected player wave to him wave to him that's what we do come on so votto leaves and that's only the first ejection of this whole event because then this fan starts talking crap into the dugout and the woman sitting next to him was like come on come on stop don't embarrass me and the ball boy is like come on stop stop stop and the security guard's like come on dude be cool be cool but he wasn't cool about it but he thought he was super cool he gets ejected and he wants everyone to clap for him and it's like well dude i don't know you probably paid a lot of money for those seats and it's the first inning and your family's seemingly with you and now you're gone so not that cool in the end not that cool now the amps are going to resume play but the head up jim reynolds he gets together and says you know what we got to get david bell out of this game too so he goes and tells the monitor you're out now david bell thinks that these guys behind him ejected him so he starts to walk that way and he says no it was me i'm doing it he says what you're kicking me i says yeah i am he's like what he's like you were you were out of control out there dave bell's like what are you talking about i was protecting my players just trying to hold him back david bell still doesn't believe it he thinks that the other guy says no no no it was me it was me he says what did i do he says you're out of control you're out of control david and now you got tatis just sitting on the ground in the back chilling and david bell said that he wasn't ejected before the game the crew chief just decided you know it's a bad look if we let the manager stay after all that tirade so we got to get him out of here too so it's like an after the fact like hey yeah you got to leave too and and bell's like what why though i told him you had to go he's like no come on david he's like what kick me out when you kick me out you can't let five minutes go by and then decide you know what we should have kicked me out as well kind of uh i'm kind of with bell here like it was all over with man you're good but he gets the late ejection from the crew chief who wasn't even part of the main melee the bad news is this girl abigail came to her first mlb game and her favorite player of all time got thrown out in the first inning she's all sad she's crying she's wearing the joey bottle shirt what's gonna happen joey vado says don't worry he signs a baseball for says i am sorry i didn't play the entire game really nice move of joey votto then they had her come to the next game vato chats with her gives her some tickets gives her the whole treatment good guy joey vado i mean sure he's got temper sure he's going to rage out on you but in the end good guy just ask him he was right to throw me out there's no question about it so yeah stuff like that happens when you're when you're competing thinking about this last night in bed and uh my mom always told me i have my father's temper and my late father's temper and um i was thinking about God that Padres fan is an asshat. His fatass would have been stomped by anyone in that dugout, yet fans have immunity from repercussions for yelling at players. Hope that guy woke up the next day feeling like a clown considering he looked to be pushing 50.

I don't know. I just feel like if Joey says it's wrong, then it probably is wrong. The check swing was really close though. We are all very lucky to be able to see him play. I am beside myself to have had the opportunity to talk with him a bit. Believe me, he can talk intellectually on many many topics including jazz musicians/composers, and drum corps/marching band (which are the two topics we talked about lol).

I'm a Jays fan and Joey Votto is my favorite non Jays baseball player currently playing. Guy loses his temper and runs his mouth, but is always a class act afterwards, makes things right, and you can tell he loves his fans and putting smiles on faces which is a damn good quality in a ballplayer.

Also, although I think he went around that was a bullshit ejection and ump show bullshit.
