Jeep maintenance!! (long overdue)

I'm gonna fill you in on what's happening so today we're finally getting to the maintenance on the Jeep a lot of you been asking what my maintenance schedule is and what we're doing today is gonna be a big one and I haven't been out here working in the shop for months and I'm not about to start working on the Jeep without cleaning this mess up first so I'm gonna need to do that so I've got Randy here he's gonna help me clean this up and we're gonna get everything organized and then we'll bring the Jeep in and get all the maintenance done on that I can tell you kinda what the schedule is and what we do on [Music] so we're kind of on a time crunch because I've got to go to Vegas tonight to pick up my sister at the airport so we were gonna deep clean the whole shop but we're just running out of time so I think we've got it to the point where I can work on the Jeep without going insane so we're stopping and we're doing that next so Randy's predicting that as soon as we get this disabled we're gonna get a call [Music] [Music] all right so we've got a couple things we need to do here one we need to replace this track bar cuz this joint is loose so let's get started with the first thing first I've had people ask in the comments what my and if I have to do anything really special because of the sand and stuff and this there's nothing special I'm gonna be doing it more often than if it was an on-road vehicle and there's things that I watch for and rather say I'm pop-up no just checking the brakes making sure it's almost time for new brakes man I should probably do that now looking in the back then I've got a seep on the front pinion seal here I'm not super happy with but it's not dripping so probably just leave it for a while make sure everything's looking everything's tight good we just greased it the other morning before we headed out on that big job clear out on the strip the snap point job so all right now just time to do the next thing [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] trying to replace this the track bar that I think is loose on a second so in case you're wondering what the shim kit looks like on my hastily thrown together track bar system that's what it looks like some probably won't hurt to do this a little bit better way all of a sudden sighs yeah [Music] [Music] all right so that's lasted 210 thousand miles well it's got the accent the hope this whole ox will relaxing this way so we're gonna have to Center it again we don't know what we're doing that this [Music] definitely closer they don't want to get too much out of there okay we're just [Music] there's that nut already the reason I hesitate to fabricate on camera is because I catch so much grief from it just from people around here to watch me do it I've been told it looks like I didn't just a blundering idiot and I accidentally can get it right so I'm putting myself at the mercy of the internet right now and I'm just gonna do this the way I would do it if there was no camera [Music] why do I use Ryobi because they were free in a junk car that we ended up getting the title on my Makita drill was at my house hey find out that's gonna be a 3/8 bolt that goes in there well it all it has to do is clamp it okay [Applause] my name is Carter and while they were filming this video they had some technical difficulties with the audio so I'm gonna finish telling the story so now I'm listening it and doing something now I'm putting in the bolts I'm looking for some sort of wrench can't seem to find it Oh got it okay guys somehow figure out how to tighten this tightening it figure it out away I don't even know where this goes come on just just fit in there I think I think I got it who's that dude in the background come on come on just just fit I'm putting the Castleman on just gonna tighten this up here it's kind of hard well I think it's time to finish putting this back together thanks for watching [Music] thanks for watching [Music]
