what's going on guys welcome back to the channel this is star today we're going over some powerful combos that you can pull off in Jedi Survivor I've been having a lot of fun experimenting with different moves in each of the five stances and seeing what can flow together and I was actually surprised by some of the things you can do you've got a lot of the basic combos that you can do in any stance like your basic three hit sequence pulling a stormtrooper towards you and skewering him like a kebab or lifting a Target up and slamming them back down but there's a lot of specialized moves I learned that you can only do in specific stances and I want to go over some of them today if you guys have any combos you like using in Survivor let me know in a comment below and if I get enough I'll make a part two to this video using your guy's suggestions don't forget to thumbs up the video subscribe if you're new and let's get into it just a heads up for most of these combos you need to have the right abilities unlocked in the skill tree I'll go over each one involved so that you'll know what to unlock if you want to try these for yourselves some of them are done at higher levels but others you can do really early on it just depends on the tree I feel like Blaster stance has the most combo potential out of all five to be honest and it's a nice demonstration of how you can combo between these unlockable moves in the skill tree so we'll start with that one I mean The Stance inherently involves comboing alternating back and forth between the Blaster and the saber and you can do some really cool sequences where Cal shoots with overhead and underhand shots depending on which part of the combo he's in you can also charge up the shot in the Blaster and hold on to it so you can choose at which part of the combo you want to let it go and by alternating this way you can do a ton of damage and get some of your shots back in the process my favorite combo in this entire video though is point blank into the energizing flurry this is a late game combo for sure but it's so powerful and it lets you shoot with the Blaster virtually forever as long as you can land the flurry the point blank ability is basically a Parry that you do with the Blaster instead of the saber and it has a huge knockback effect that sends the enemy flying you can then walk up to that down Target and hit them with the flurry of stabs and every hit that connects will restore shots keep in mind though that to use Point Blank you need at least one round of ammunition in the Blaster if the mag is m empty you can't do the Perry so just be aware of how many shots you've got left but even if you're on that last shot you'll get three or four of them back with the flurry so it's a really good trade-off another combo you can do in Blaster is a really flashy one just lift the target with the force and hit them with the sharp shot ability the lift isn't completely necessary if the targets are open to the shot but it just helps with grouping them together in one spot when I went to LA for the preview event for this game the gameplay demo had a finale that involved this exact move and I remember being blown away by it it's a crowd pleaser for sure speaking of crowd Pleasers check out the new chaos saber from our friends over at onasaber they sent me this beautiful box to open and show off on the channel never mind the table artwork from my city although I guess it kind of Blends in with the arabesh so it's not bad this replica of calcustus's lightsaber is really nice it's got the details of the broken Hilt at the end and it's got a nice sturdy design to it what really impressed me was the reactive sound where the whooshing sound effect of the lightsaber got louder the harder I swung the blade around and there's a bunch of different settings and blade colors to choose from these things have really come a long way since my first one it comes with everything you need right out of the box Hardware a charge cable the blade itself and a manual for operation this is a dueling grade saber too so you can have fights with your friends and not worry about damage to the blade that is but it's also really nice as just a decorative piece right now Ona saber is having a special until May 7th where you can get 10 off your order free shipping and a free stand for your new lightsaber just use my code star at checkout for those benefits and there will be a link to the chaos saber in the pin comment and in the description be sure to check it out and check out the rest of their catalog of awesome dual and grade lightsabers big thank you to onasaber for letting me feature it on the channel it looks great and it arrived just in time for this combo video although I wouldn't recommend trying any of these Survivor combos with it in real life I do recommend trying out some of these early game combos though the Blaster stance is a pretty late game machine so let's check out the dual wielding combos that you can do pretty much right after you get this dance in the skill sure you have three abilities all in a line here on the right side backstep slash uncoiled strikes and Serpent's bite all three of these work together and I'm pretty sure the devs intended for them to be used in Combos and to be honest this move is actually what inspired this entire video the first combo is the backstep slash with the uncoiled strikes backstep does this strong slash attack and then jumps back to open up space and the uncoiled strikes quickly closes that space and delivers an awesome looking flurry of hits It's nice because if you can see an attack coming you can get the hidden with the backstep Dodge the attack and then come in with the uncoiled the extended version of this move is just adding the Serpent's bite at the end of the combo which you do by holding the attack button throughout the flurry at the end of the combo Cal slams both of his lightsabers into the ground and sends out a small Shockwave that staggers enemies that it hits it looks really cool and it's satisfying to pull off and like I said you can do this entire sequence really early on they're available as soon as you get the stance and it's just gonna cost four skill points to unlock block all three moves the timing is interesting because uncoiled strikes is triggered by doing a delayed second attack so there's a brief pause in between the moves the backstep will use up Force Power but the uncoiled and Serpent's bite won't so you can actually use this combo a lot more often than most of the others in this video try this one out on boss fights since the dual wield stance is best suited for those one-on-ones this combo can melt a block meter and a health bar when I was experimenting for this video I didn't think the single blade stance could do a whole lot but I was actually really surprised by how good it is one of my favorite combos to do in single blade stance is a force push followed up with the dash strike and I like this one a lot because you can do it pretty much whenever you throw the push out there you can do a sequence like attack attack push and then Dash or a single attack push and dash or you can just go straight into it starting with the push this one opens up space and then closes it really fast with that Dash and it can do a bunch of damage if you time it right the push can even break the block meter and leave them open for a big hit the downside to this combo is that the dash strike is a pretty late game move if you're like me you probably invested most of your skill points in the newer stances like cross guard and Blaster I know in my first playthrough I pretty much ignored single Blade's dance and so it never got leveled up but after playing around with these combos I actually kind of regret that because single blade is really good the dash is the bread and butter move as it closes a lot of distance but I think the aerial Dash is even better I feel like the range on this is further than the normal Dash and while I was testing I found out that you can combo this with the aerial assault slam attack you'll hover in the air for a brief second after the dash connects and that lets you sneak in the assault before you land and it's really strong if you have tm40 I mean the aerial Ace ability unlocked it's a guaranteed stagger on that Target so you can follow up with more attacks after that and shout out to you if you understand that Pokemon joke both the dash strike and the aerial assault will use up the force meter so I like to make sure that I have at least half a bar before doing this I should actually probably throw it out there that most of these combos will use up the force in the survival skill tree I like to level up my Force Attunement which increases the overall force meter and that lets me combo off more as I fight now the double blade is where things start getting really flashy and it's another one of those stances that you can do combos with really early on you can yank huge groups of enemies towards you and use your Force move to mow down the crowd which is a fan favorite and there are a few other variations of this you need the howling pull ability unlocked for this dance to be most effective but luckily it's the first move on the telekinesis skill tree and that power throw is already unlocked for the double stance so you can do this right away and if you unlock the double orbit ability that will make Cal throw the saber around him a second time to take down any waves of enemies that the first hit missed it's really strong especially in large groups like this my favorite combo in double blade though is a late game move that combines the rising storm ability with the repoles you suck them all in as you go Airborne pause and then knock them down as you hit the ground and that lets you get a bunch of free hits in you can chain your Force attack after the knock for huge damage or you can just swing away like Joaquin Phoenix this one isn't as strong as the power throw it's definitely more defensive because the Stagger off of the repulse will give you a perfect opening to get a stem in while the other combo is way more about that power move double blade stance is amazing for crowds but my main issue with it is that you really have to commit to each attack so using these Force powers to knock the enemy off balance is really effective and it makes this an early game combo machine cross guard stance doesn't seem to have the same capacity for combos as the other stances it's way more focused on those power swings but you can still combine some of the basic commands one or two basic attacks can be followed up by the force move for some crazy damage to either health bars or block meters ideally you want to break the block meter with the basic attack and then deliver that power move right to the health bar you can also do this fun combo where you use the force slam on a Target and while they're stuck on the ground you hit them with the shock wave from Impact normally this move can be blocked but stunning them with the slam lamb opens them up and if you have the jump attack leveled up to Max with greater impact you can knock the Target down over and over again both the slam and the impact take up Force Power though so you can't do this for too long but the damage kinda makes up for it as far as the different stances go I think Blaster stance has the best capacity for combos since the Blaster and the saber work completely independently of each other the dual wield has the most reliable combo with the back step into uncoiled and double blade isn't that far behind dual wielding at the higher levels single blade is amazing at stringing together different moves the cross guard is the only one that I'm still kind of figuring out and seeing what's possible like I mentioned at the start there may be a part two to this video if I get enough viewer comments with more Combos and hopefully by then I'll have figured out what the cross guard can really do while I was experimenting for this video I discovered a few other cool combat tips and I wanted to go over them here to really round out the video so the shields you can steal from Shield Troopers are actually really strong and they can last a long time you can grab it and hold on to to it for as long as it lasts and it will protect you from oncoming attacks even against something as strong as an atst it's not a bad move and it's even got a little window at the top so you can kind of see through it when you're done with the shield you can just throw it at a target for massive damage it's a nice little two-piece Force combo the atsts can of course eventually destroy it but one thing that they can't destroy is the spammal these friendly Giants are your mounts on Jetta and you can actually attack with them while you're riding and they do some pretty great damage atsts and Stormtroopers are no match against the mighty spammal so when you're exploring the sansies with them don't be afraid to engage the bad guys you're actually probably safer on this thing's back than you are on the ground the animation of this thing swinging its head will carry you forward so you have to line up the attacks but just think of it like a jousting run and you'll have a blast taking out the imps on Jetta you probably already know this one but it's always worth going over for those who aren't aware you can deflect all the Blaster shots that come at you with the double-bladed stance all the other stances will only deflect the first shot and then all consecutive shots will just be blocked if you have the stamina double blade though will send all the shots back to where they came from so if you're fighting Troopers with the heavy blasters or just a lot of Troopers with blasters in general switch to the double blade and use those shots against them you can also use the force to pull and push rockets and other projectiles which makes taking out some of the Droid enemies way easier if you ever see that grenade or rocket coming just keep a finger near that Force push button and you'll be good to go this next tip I picked up from fellow YouTuber swanny plays games so shout out to him for tipping me off to this one the focused sight ability is insanely good in Survivor it rapidly depletes your Force meter but it lets you Auto Dodge every melee attack that comes at you even the red unblockable ones which really blew me away I figured the unblockables couldn't be dodged with this but that's not the case you absolutely can dodge them and it makes certain boss fights so much more manageable it'll cost you two skill points in the survival skill tree but it's definitely worth picking up but guys that's gonna do it for today I have more Combos and combat tips to share but I think I'll save those for a part two if you guys enjoyed the video today let me know by giving it a thumbs up and if you're new consider subscribing and getting notified we are going through a bit of a transition on the channel and making this more of a general Star Wars Channel and not just about the games the games will still be a big part of it but with the projects like Ahsoka and the newer movies coming out I want to talk about that stuff too so we'll be having more discussions and movie and show talk here on the channel so I hope you guys stick around for that once again big thank you to onasaber for letting me feature the chaos blade on the channel don't forget to click the link in the pin comment and in the description to check out the blade but that's gonna do it for today's video take care of yourselves take care of each other and I'll see you in the next one peace
