Why!!!! Like so much time and skill. To make something so awful. Sigh.
I actually watched all 17 minutes of this.
It really bothers me that the aluminum squares could have been much better aligned with the use of a laser or string.
Also the dude could have spent way less time with a file if he had bought a $15 deburring tool.
So much quality, so little taste. Outstanding.
I really hated some of the things I had to build when I worked in a carpentry shop, but if my boss gave me specs for this table I would've just quit on the spot.
This is horrendous.
The top isn't that bad imo (alternatively, I have bad tastes). Not a fan of the wood + epoxy, but the shapes are really interesting.
The jeans is just tacky.
That looked like a lot of work for a really blah desk...
