welcome to the 2020 [Music] uh we've got the team out here we're pinning outside in the associated day concept defense tracks coming along some character coming um with the different qualifying stuff going on they're gonna do two rounds of [Music] qualifying [Music] hey [Music] which [Music] [Music] all right richard tell us what you're doing here uh we have one more round of qualifying to go so we're getting amane ready i think with the points spencer got in the first round he's going to go into the main so i don't think there'll be a warm up so we're kind of a little bit ahead of the curve freshen up the clutches get out of the outer bearings on all three cars and then uh after tonight we'll go in and uh get inside the dips and stuff tomorrow kind of getting a jump start on a main prep tell us about the the first qualifier yeah like always the first round's always like the most you know everyone's kind of all tensed up and has uh hasn't been on the track in hours unless you're here this morning getting into secret practice um because of the 24-hour practice schedule but uh it was uh overall i thought it was it was about as good as i was gonna give it i kind of i gave it my all made some mistakes on my own in the natural buggy class and then actual trucking class um the car's been working good been running the green reflections in all my cars since we got on the track uh yesterday at six a.m uh they're working good we're you know jay kahn's been tq in uh some rounds and uh we're making it happen dakota talk to us about uh the truck you run with your tq and then your buggy nitro run was good too uh let's talk about the triggy yeah tricky was good i got a clean start and pretty much uh ran uh ran really consistent and smooth for the whole run uh got into traffic there a little bit um but it was a good run felt really comfortable and good with the truck so uh i think just uh maybe make a small change for the next qualifier see if we can learn anything for them going into the main event and i think it'll be a pretty solid and the next buggy was was a pretty consistent just nice and easy run i got a top three so happy with that i'm gonna try to get a little bit more speed out of the car but like i said i was comfortable with the car the tires uh just been sticking with the great reflexes they've been been solid um with all the cars so feeling good out there and like i said just gonna make a couple of small changes even though he was a little bit rough just had a had a bad first lap and then from there on the pace is pretty good all right ryan we're through the first round of qualifying here at the 2020 pmb uh pretty good round there for you two good finishes and uh e-buggy ran well but just had a couple mistakes yeah it went good uh nitro buggy went out there not really knowing what to expect been a long time you know since yesterday been on the track so went out there putting a solid drive was in within like six tenths of the the win overall so car felt awesome ran some green triple d's track was a little wet uh went on to e buggy kind of had the wrong shock package on my car made a few driving ears i think i got six overalls so not terrible but something to build on and then yeah truggy uh i just drove as hard as i could you can really push the truck super hard out there running some green reflexes uh the thing was super fast making a ton of power i thought after that drive i was like man that's pretty good tq run i think but then dakota went out there and got it by like a second uh he drove really good doing front flips through the whoops and sticking it pretty crazy to watch so yeah it's a lot of fun out here long days i think we ran our first qualifier like seven hours ago and we're back here after a quick nap do it again all right spencer we came out here to take a look at the track uh you guys are still not up for quite a while but uh what are we seeing with the track yeah i mean simply ran earlier this morning coming back in to watch definitely built up some character the track does look a little bit drier than it did earlier so we're kind of i'm kind of seeing if i want to run the same tire the green reflexes or compound run the blue reflexes looking at the bracket it still looks like it's all kind of more it has the loamy dirt on top kind of dusty so i feel like the greens would kind of still produce a little bit more grip hold on dude it's not the first rodeo [Music] [Music] guys [Music] all right spencer we uh just came off the track here you're getting the e-buggy ready here real quick but a good run in nitro buggy yeah it was um it was an awesome run it was definitely a better overall like no mistakes run than my first run so i felt like i went away from my gun that time i really wanted to run the green reflexes and i just kind of went out of my comfort zone and kind of went for and brand blue reflexes and the warm up it was didn't really feel that great but i'm like this is what i got i got to stick with it and it ended up working out i got my own little groove and just really just hit my marks and never really look back [Music] okay [Music] keep it wrong [Music] uh [Music] [Music] hey [Music] here all right spencer talk to us about the last round here in buggy you uh you got a tq run out of it so not a bad day yeah it was um it was crazy it was a crazy qualifier because we haven't been up the way that the round one round two where it's like it's like 15 hours apart so i made some changes to my natural car to make it look more like my e-buggy i've been working with the team kurt richard jackson lee and cole trying to just get the most out of it and we ended up on a good a good change for the q2 and picked up a bunch of speed good drivability comfortability and just ran my own laps and had some fun doing so all right dakota is late here at the uh pmb and uh but it was a good finish to the qualifying for you you're going to tq the buggy and the truckee uh what was it like out there for round two and uh how'd the performance go yeah rusty went pretty good i made a change for the next boogie and the buggy and it was definitely a lot a lot better um and then i went with the blue soccer this time which seemed to still have good grip and then a little bit safer not catching the bumps quite as much so that i think that was a good decision uh and then uh truggy they watered this round so everyone went a little bit slower um so kind of worked my advantage with my uh round one tq so yeah all in all uh everything's pretty solid going in the main so gonna freshen freshen the cars up get some tires mounted up and uh let her eat all right we're finishing up a long day here at the uh psycho nitro blast he had some good runs uh one breakage there in the last run of druggie but uh seems like this stuff's got some speed yeah both buggies were really fast uh in this late night qualifier couple mistakes weird the jumps are kind of falling apart catching people off guard so how to kind of come back nitro car was super fast buggy was a lot better than last round and then druggie i was leading shruggy going good felt awesome and then landed a jump weird broken steering in so resort look another long day tomorrow we have no idea when we're gonna run but it's probably getting pretty late yeah everything's working good reset have a couple beers go race tomorrow all right spencer we're here at pmb main day it's sunday kind of a late night last night we got check in with you there after a couple of good runs what do you got going on here today and preparing for the mains yeah as you see i got my tire selection going uh blowing up some uh greens and blues for uh buggies [Music] i just want to have both options ready like i said yesterday in the last video we ran blues and buggy and we got some eqs out of it uh chugging [Music] and tragies for me doing some final prep and i'm kind of focusing on the tire stuff at the moment um balancing the stuff balancing the triggy tires and kind of charging the cars it's kind of my job at the moment and getting ready for the main all right dakota we uh we're getting up on the the truckee main here yep your uh the tq in this class laid it down in that first round of qualifying and they get the truck apart what are you doing here uh to kind of get ready for the main yeah just kind of going through the car making sure all the screws are tight uh going through the dips we're doing the dips um getting the engine all ready kind of changing the clutch out the bearings air filter things like that and then yeah just going through the car making sure everything's good to go everything's tight and charging the battery up and that's about it so you got a new trucky here this thing isn't quite out yet um you already tq'd at the nitro challenge with this with this rig and uh what's it working like this weekend yeah it's been great here uh obviously quite a bit different track conditions so it's cool to get some experience out here with it on this and uh it's been working down here made a couple of small changes from nitro challenge and uh the truck has been uh been very comfortable and it's had some good speed so looking forward to the main and i think it's gonna be important to get out there and get a rhythm going you know get through the whoop section clean every lap and uh just try to limit the mistakes as much [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] next [Music] um [Music] [Music] 30 seconds [Music] [Music] [Music] is [Music] is [Music] man thanks so uh how the hell were you so patient using those damn joker lines oh man i was killing me i'm like just go i know i was kind of like all right i got four minutes left i'm like how many you know i was asking like how many laptops how many laps left so just wanted to uh stay behind until the very end it just it just makes it easier when you're following you have so much space especially with that whoop section it's so gnarly out there struggled with that in the beginning kind of fell behind a little bit yeah and then they kind of all use their joker so [Music] [Music] buddy go ahead guys [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] all right give us a little preview here yeah we got the buggy all ready to go um got the tires on it blue reflexes checked all the screws checked uh ring bun screws and i'm pretty much setting my brakes right now kind of uh trying to make the bias 50 50. i usually tell them every run and it feels pretty good checking the strength and um it's ready to go we have about 10 minutes kind of go do my nervous pee and get a bottle of water and head to the driver's awesome it's stance guys take it easy on the turn marshals out here we're just rc car racing getting everybody home with all ten fingers and toes they came with [Music] [Music] uh amazing run there uh that was a super intense battle the entire race i don't think you guys had a break at all you're driving the wheels off of this thing let's see the car back here let's uh talk about the race um kinda started off everyone started making mistakes we just i told her that i was gonna back off five percent just drive smooth clean we made our way to the front with joe just like in truck executed it well waited to use the joker lanes at correct time made a last-minute charge uh to get mayfield right at the end in the last two laps car's amazing jc tires hooking up the whole way through a great rate all right here we go guys the top five fastest here at the 2020 psycho nitro [Music] you had your fair share of uh good moments and then some bad moments so uh let's talk about the race a little bit yeah the racing was good i mean [Music] [Music] um [Music] i ran the last a little bit before the last pit stop without a rear wing and just made the best for it i was i was out of a i was in a good place to spot i caught adam and passed him on the last lap with no wings so all right tyler we got through the uh pro buggy a main there and man that was like just a confusing race yeah uh there was you know crashing all over the place joker line runs i mean it was it was a mess kind of to watch what was it like to be in it uh it was uh it was entertaining to say at least um i kind of made a last-second tire change and i probably should have went back to reflex that's what i've been running but um overall it's kind of frustrating but i'm just happy to be here and uh jerry ran a great race so i'm happy for him but yeah that race was uh i was battling with everyone i know about what capillary even though he flamed out and just you just didn't know where you're at and uh yeah just on the e-buggy and trying to get better results got a pro buggy maine we talked to a couple guys in the race uh definitely the the craziest race we've had so far just uh you know when the track gets this bumpy we got the the whoops section which was getting really gnarly and then the joker lane it was just a really chaotic race so what was it like to be in it yeah it was it was pretty crazy from the start there was some huge pileups going into the loop section in the whoops section cars on top of each other definitely a pretty pretty crazy race lots of chaos out there people were you know jumping off up and down the leaderboard kind of kind of all over the place um so yeah i had some had some unfortunate luck kind of had just a weird flame out like a triple um i don't know if rock hit it or you know what but i know a few people had the same problem so just some bad luck out there it's been uh been tough conditions for everyone and uh yeah it's been just trying to [Music] finish [Music] right [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] all right spencer that uh that kind of wraps us up in main events here today uh ran a good second place good race the whole entire time made the made the podium let's talk about the race yeah i think um we made some good adjustments from running uh natural buggy and natural triggy i thought all of us as a as a you know one main we kind of uh made some adjustments on taking the trucker line it wasn't so hectic out there we all drove a smart race uh i've ran blue reflexes i believe that's what decoder in and i think i ran my best main so far today no mistakes in that last one um i know cavalry passed me on the jogger lane for a second and i was able to jump uh on the jump corner pass them back for a second and um pretty much finish the race uh i believe four or five seconds behind dakota so dakota ran a good race congratulations to him and i'm looking forward to coming back next year all right dakota we're a long weekend here at pmb you picked up two wins i just did did it in the e buggy race uh probably one of the best looking cars of the weekend uh the thing looked awesome we thought there was gonna be chaos but up front you were gone yeah you know we talked earlier and we thought it was going to be uh pretty chaotic especially with how nitro buggy was you know there was carnage everywhere the first few laps uh but e-boogie was super clean up front uh me and spencer both did the jerkling on the second lap it got out clean and i just put my head down did some really clean laps the car felt the best that it has all weekend long so that's always a good feeling and yeah i just went out there and just put some laps down and didn't really have too many mistakes all right seth uh great race and nitro buggy we talked about that uh awesome second place and in this uh you got in there again you got on the big podium and uh it's gotta be a pretty got to be pretty pleased with the weekend yeah i'm employees of the weekend i had a little bit of a rough running truck broke but that's racing uh e-booking was good we got off to a good start just started to pick our way through the pack nice and clean like dakota said we thought it was gonna be mayhem at the start just like nitro buggy but uh picked my way through ended up battling with a few people took the joker lane a few laps after they did just to try and keep up and try and keep touch with them but dakota was so fast broke away so hold on a good good race with e-buggy so all right tyler we had the e-buggy maine that just ran in the pro class so talk to us about the finish and uh kind of overall a pretty good weekend for you yeah um i went out on a green reflex uh decided to go out with us because the track was kind of cold um about halfway through they kind of got hot but i kind of just maintained drove a little bit easier so they wouldn't tractor and stuff and uh managed to make my way up and running third and then uh cavalieri we had a good battle and unfortunately he i think battery dumped on him and i got third so stuffed on that overall good weekend wish nitro would went better but i mean on the next one whatever that may be all right ryan another long uh pmb weekend you did the three classes had some good moments and then some some bad moments just had some issues here and there broke one time and tried no real no issue but it just happened sometimes and had a little issue with the radio in the last buggy race but uh that's kind of how it goes sometimes yeah it's a crazy race uh the track's pretty gnarly so sometimes you get things happening you're not expecting so yeah i had some i don't know bad blue jobs by me uh trucking tires coming up glue in the main i kind of had to just drive through the paint with basically all four tires coming off the rim luckily the foam was glued so they kind of held okay manage the top five and nitro was buggy was pretty you know at the joker lane it's like you have no idea what's going on what like when i'm not going through the joker lane the guys are i got kind of rammed a few times in the wrong place wrong time so just a pretty crazy race ended up finishing third and that round had a great battle with seth at the end of that race and uh yeah then he buggy the radio shut up i don't know what happened the battery was charged we put a plug another battery in it it still won't turn on so kind of a super weird thing but yeah overall it was a lot of fun very kind of frustrating this race is everything it's cracked up to be and yeah the cars performed awesome i had the speed all week tires were great tons of horsepower with mx and hobby wing and yeah learn from some of this weird stuff going on and go to the next one all right so uh you got something coming up what's coming up on the schedule yeah we're gonna go to vegas for the j concerts ins carpet series at 702 and then take a couple weeks prepare for some more nitro we're gonna go to the mugen challenge at lcrc uh have some fun do a little maybe maybe some dirt oval racing out there or something cool so uh and a scale of course so it'll be cool to go there that's where the nationals are supposed to be this year it's gonna be their next year so it should be a little test session and uh then after that surf city all kinds of races all right well appreciate it thanks for the support as always good racing and we'll
