Haha I love how he felt bad about prejudging the "gang members" but they weren't even gang members. It's like he learned a lesson in tolerance and then next time he's gonna be like alright it's the real deal this time.

Much as I want to believe this story, I highly doubt that undercover officers would carry badges and even if they did, they would not blow their cover in front of a big tv personality who is sure to relay this story at some point on a show. I think some slight embellishment has occurred in the retelling of this tale.
