hey hello everyone so this video i'm going to show  you how to solve the error javac is not recognized   as an internal or external command so you get this  error if you just try to compile a java program so   i'm going to show you how to solve this error okay  so for this you need to download java jdk okay   so if you have downloaded it it's well and good  suppose you haven't downloaded just type java jdk   download , need to go to java jdk download okay  we'll be taking you to this oracle website and   here you'll be having this i think the version is  eight okay this one for windows 64 bits just then   going to click it and you're gonna just select  reviewed okay and i think it will ask you to sign   up okay it's absolutely free to download just  create an account and log in okay so it's just   a simple procedure okay and as you can see it's  asking you to sign in so just create an account   and sign in and download it so once you've  downloaded this you need to go to by default   it will be downloaded in c program files okay so  just go to c program files and you'll be having a   folder called as java so this is after downloading  jdk let's go to java and you'll be having both jdk   and jre here you are going to jdk file okay and  to go to bin so just your place your cursor over   here and copy this path okay just copy it and  now what you're going to do is you need to go to   environment variables okay just go to  environmental variables just click open okay so in this environmental variables  you will be getting system properties   dialog box will open and you need to  go to environmental variables option   and here you will be having this path over here  so can you make this large okay so we'll be having   this path option over here so what you need to  do is just click it and you need to go to edit   so after going to edit you will be having  like already some pre-defined paths okay so   you have to go to new okay so don't disturb  any of this don't click edit or something   just click new and just paste this path that you  have copied so it's c program files java jdk and   bin okay you need to select bin also it's jdk and  not jre okay be careful there and just select it   and just click ok here also okay and finally here  also okay so now just close your command prompt   and now just go to cmd , you need to restart your  command okay otherwise your changes won't get effected so as you can see here it's just working  we've got our javac and java version so i'll just   run and show you a demo program so it works so  i have my main.java program it's a just simple   program just prints hello so just go here and  type javac name of it is main dot java and we just   go and type java main i'm getting our output as  "hello" that's it that's fine so you need to just   set the variable path and just try running and  checking your program so that's it for this video   mine is a programming channel i've done tutorials  in c c++ python java blender that is 3d animation   unity so do check other videos of my channel  subscribe and support me and thanks for watching
