y'all's interview too i think i think you topped our interview with that one are you serious because the effect that my interview seemed to have on people is the effect that her interview had on me can i just say you keep saying interview when it was an interview as a date can i just clarify that it it was a date not an interview all right now that you've clarified that what else do you have to julia yeah okay because i have i can have a bet with you that i probably could get a date with dua lipa before you could get a date with your leaper because of proximity i would actually agree with you only because of proximity strictly because of proximity okay cool what did fergie think of first class your your rendition of it she loved it she sent me a message she gave me a bunch of props she with drake right that's right yeah okay so when you were recording were you like talking about me then or oh when we were recording yeah i feel like you had to come up yeah i feel like i probably did that's what i was asking so so i did come up is that what you're saying i think i can safely say yes okay great and also how did you know that parent trap was my favorite film for me like when i discuss you on this album and when i kind of make records about you i don't want it to be something that's like completely explicit and obvious so i have to leave like easter eggs so at least you and i can know what's going on okay that's that's what i thought i just wanted to get you know get that just clarified yeah you seem to always know what's up you seem to always know what's going on thank you i do know what's up and so do you you know what's up because you love the uk don't you i sure do when are you gonna come next are you going to be at any festivals i don't know but you turned up my studios when you're in the studio with all these different people that have been on your album like what was one of your favorite experiences i saw you posted a little clip of you and pharrell how was that yeah i posted that clip because that was just a life-changing day for me me and pharrell it was just one of those times where all the ice was broken and i felt like i could say exactly what i felt sometimes you get shy around legends kind of let them lead the show but he was willing to let me steer the ship below then he would steer the push-pull was very organic and uh i think his humility is the reason he's great he's i actually met him on zoom um i would say that zoom conversations can be quite awkward what do you think i could see how they could be okay this one's going so well this one's going really like strangely well every time you celebrate you're back in the studio do you have time to date not me obviously i'm not interested i mean like other people right right um yeah i have time for other people cool you have time for other people just in general and just do you date yeah i'm open to dating okay just to clarify because i know there's some ladies out there that probably would want to know i'm not the easiest guy in the world but i'm definitely open-minded i'll tell you that but the right woman could get me to step outside who knows okay what was it like meeting nadwa i love him i'm so jealous that you met him yeah i think he'll interview you one day do you think yeah you're going to do a collab or something yeah i think so what's he like in real life the exact same i'm not even sure he's playing a character he's just always like that yeah he's kind of like you like refuses to break character i'm not i'm not in character i'm just this cool all the time and they see what i'm saying stay back and do what i'm saying perfect this is this is the refusal i'm talking about have you been missing me i feel like we should hang out more but as friends obviously all right it's like you pull me in and you push me away and um i just i don't know what to think you don't know what to think i was just saying we should just hang out like would you would you open to that i could show you a good time especially in london yeah i would be very open to that i love selfridges okay i'm not gonna take you to salvages you ain't gonna spoil me um no not really this conversation um with that with that line because i just don't think we could top that so jack it's honestly been a pleasure when i found out i was interviewing with you again i got excited did you because you know what yeah when it came when we first originally came on screen and then you just didn't appear for ages i thought wow he must be really nervous to see me because he's gone and you know probably had a bit of a panic in the toilet let me ask you something you think do you think you make me nervous yeah i think that you you're really nervous right now you're sweating who makes you nervous not not you not not at all definitely not you so who does i'm just curious so i can study though no one makes me nervous because i would love to make you nervous i wish i could well it's just unfortunate isn't it that i'm just absolutely not nervous at all and just very just very relaxed the water sip the water itself uh well when you can identify someone who makes you nervous please let me know so i can study their mannerisms because you know one of my goals in life is to have that effect on you because you make me so nervous i gotta fight back yeah well um i hope that happens one
