when I wake up in the morning I don't think am I motivated to go do what I'm supposed to do no I don't think about it for one millisecond when the alarm clock goes off I have no thought about whether this is easy whether this is hard whether I want to do it whether I don't want to do it none of that matters it's an emotionless thoughtless discipline when the alarm clock goes off you get up you get out of bed and you go do what you're supposed to do I don't care how it feels I don't care if it's easy or hard it doesn't even matter to me it's just a reaction it's a discipline and it's life and that's the way I choose to live my life if you want to win you got to do it do it alone do it broke do it tired do it scared no matter what just do it don't wait don't wait till tomorrow start today start now start being who you're supposed to be and doing what you're supposed to do now if you don't control your mind and your mind controls you you're [ __ ] take control and tell your brain where you want to go and what you want to do because if you don't you will always be a loser things just don't go your way that's not the way the world works you gotta make them go your way you say things are gonna just go your way well they're not gonna just go your way do you think things are gonna just happen for you well they're not just gonna happen for you you gotta make them happen guess what that's the way life is you don't have enough time you gotta make time it's not just gonna happen you gotta make it happen go make things happen do you think Michael Jordan was interested in just being a basketball player do you think Kobe Bryant was just interested in winning championships do you think Tom Brady is just interested in being an NFL quarterback your mindset has to change right now interested is a [ __ ] hobby that's what interested is that means you can't make a decision if you want to win you want what's next you can't be interested you have to be obsessed most people they think of success like a movie montage what do they show they show Rocky taking a fight they show Rocky running in the snow they show him in the shed lifting some rocks and like bench pressing sheep overs can head and all kinds of crazy and went out and beat the [ __ ] out of conrago but it's not reality but that's how people look at success they look at it like you do a few things I [ __ ] ain't right for three days why am I not a fitness model I did my tasks that I needed to do I set five emails why am I not running a 10 million dollar company because they don't understand what mastering the monotonous means it means doing this that most people are too [ __ ] undisciplined to do day in and day out to the best of your ability you have to literally visualize the connection between what you're doing on a day-by-day basis aka the monotonous with what you're wanting while you're over there watching me and me and talking about me I'm working working hard I'm taking things to the next level you keep gossiping and I'll keep working you keep talking smacking I'll keep working you keep focusing on everything and everyone else and I'll keep working and when you finally look around at where you are and where I'm at you'll realize that you have nothing left to talk smack about that you will lose and I will win let me tell you something you already know the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows it's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it you me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life but it ain't about how hard you hit it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward how much you can take and keep moving forward that's how when it is done now if you know what you're worth to go out and get what you're worth but you got to be willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you want to be because of him or her or anybody cowards do that and that ain't you you're better than that working on yourself talking to yourself that's so very important overcoming the negative conversation that you know dialogue is going on all the time all the time even when you don't want it to be there you can't stop yourself right now from thinking you can't do it it's going on and so learning how to empower yourself part of doing that is standing up to yourself you've got to stand up inside yourself sometimes and say shut up I was going to give a presentation and this voice inside of me saying you can't do this you don't have everything it takes us shut up I ever had on my bills and you're telling me what I can't do I have got to do it you'll get scared sometimes your mind will go blank on you some people you will allow to unnerve you and you wonder what's wrong with me I'm not crazy that's why you got to learn to make a conscious delivery determine effort to stand up inside yourself working on yourself watching that inner dialogue it will determine the quality of your lives oh crazy means crazy means that you have the ability to see things that other people can't and if you're not [ __ ] crazy you're never going to succeed at anything in life everybody has got to be a little bit off anybody that's done something great they don't think like anybody else they can't and the people that tell you you can't do it you don't want your response to them is watch me that's all you have to say watch me I love this game I live this game there's a thousand other guys waiting in the wings who are obsessed with this game obsession is going to be Talent every time you got all the talent in the world but are you obsessed is it all you ever think about let's face it it's you against you out there when you walk on that Court you have to think I am the best guy out there Never Back Down if you want to be the best of the best if you want to survive no matter what happens if you want to thrive no matter what happens you can't second guess yourself I can't gamble on you if you're not willing to gamble on yourself I can't trust you unless you trust yourself you're asking me to be honest with you when was the last time you were honest with yourself there's always a reason if your business is not thriving there's a reason if your relationship is not thriving there's a reason and you know what the crazy thing is everybody in this room knows exactly what that reason is but you won't have that honest conversation with yourself but you tell everybody else be honest with me everybody wants somebody to be honest with them until it's time to be honest when you said I'm all in were you really all in let me tell you what the cost of being all in this early mornings late nights being misunderstood having very few threats being your own cheerleader are you those things people always talking about man I'm a hard worker everybody in this room is hard working that's not going to separate you from anybody else what are you working hard on people always look for one thing for the other oh you know you got to work smarter and not harder no you got to work smarter and you got to work harder most people give up on themselves easily you know the human spirit is powerful this nothing is powerful it's hard to kill the human spirit I said when you have a made-up mind you don't care about the facts you don't care about the odds the power to hold on in spite of everything the power to endure longer the ability to face defeat or get it again without giving up this is a Winner's quality you have that quality within you [Music] do a little world of winning but winners work as hard as possible and still worry if they're being lazy only those who are willing to far can possibly find out how far one can go I want to see what my life would look like if I stop counting the cost I'll work as much as it takes I'll study as long as it takes I'll do as many reps as it takes I'll pay whatever the price is I'll make any sacrifice that's required because I am dedicated to see what my life will be like if I put my very being into my dream
