you know i want to talk to you from the title it's bigger than you it's bigger than you if i could have my way and have a subtitle i would say to use what you have to use what you have i have a goal for you in this and this message is to help you to understand that the purpose and the life that god has for you and that he created for you is bigger than you it's bigger than you you know i was having the conversation with pastor tabitha and how many of you know when she speaks wisdom just flows and you better be ready to catch that wisdom and so she's speaking to me and i honestly i couldn't remember what exactly it was that we were talking about but she says to me ranika you have to take a step back and do the bird's eye view and i thought that was pretty interesting i thought that was powerful in itself because too often we look at our life through like a magnifying lens and we talk ourselves out of what god is calling us to do because all of the mistakes that we've made how can god use me how can god tell me that i need to step out do you see what i've been through but i want to speak to somebody who feels like they can't be used by god because of the mistakes of their past i want to tell you that it's bigger than you that the calling and the purpose that god has for you is bigger than you somebody say is bigger than me online if you're watching i want you to just type in the chat is bigger than me you know all all throughout the bible god shows us from story to story from person to person literally from scripture to scripture that our life and that our purpose is in fact bigger than us that that is always interesting to me and you know i my twins that i was telling you about we think it's we we believe it's very important to really introduce the bible and helping them to follow the leading of the holy spirit even at the young age that they're in and so there's this show called bible adventure parents of small children i encourage it it's on youtube you just type it in bible adventure and so one day they're watching bible adventure and i notice that they take them from one place to the next place to the next place and it's like they're going on this adventure and one day we're learning about moses well my daughter she doesn't quite know how to say his name she says momos i said yes baby girl mommas and we literally go on this adventure and i want us i like to do the same thing when i'm reading the bible i want to read the pretext and the post text i want to know why did this person go from here to here who were they running to who were they running from and we're gonna do a little bible adventure today is that okay with you but i gotta i gotta set it up right because if i told you the whole story in exodus we'd be here all day and so i want to tell you about a young boy a baby boy that was born a hebrew boy in egypt but it's interesting because he's born during a time where the egyptians are feeling intimidated because the hebrews or the israelites are outnumbering the egyptians and so in this moment moses new life is entering the world during a time where pharaoh king pharaoh he hears and he sees what's happening oh no the hebrews are outnumbering us and he sends out an order a decree to execute all the hebrew baby boys i can't imagine what that might have been like for moses mother she has a baby boy and she does everything in her power to hide him for three months my baby boy is being sentenced to death and so king pharaoh he sends out this order to throw every baby boy hebrew baby boy out into the nile river and so she does that but she gets a water basket in a basket that's able to withstand the nile river and she places in places a baby moses in that basket and she sends him out to the nile river instep king pharaoh's daughter the princess of egypt and she sees how precious this baby boy is and she draws him out of the water that name moses it literally means to pull out or to draw out of the water and the bible tells us that he becomes her son what a contradiction hebrew baby boy now being raised as an egyptian prince and in steps one scene where hebrew where moses he sees that he's his hebrew brethren are being beaten by an egyptian that hurts him because that's his blood that's his people so instead of asking god to step in into this scene he then says you know what i'm gonna take matters into my own hands and he kills the egyptian king pharaoh finds out about this horrific event and he comes right after moses and moses flees egypt and goes to a land called midian where he becomes a shepherd and he's just trying to live life as best as he possibly can but how many of y'all know when you have been marked by god he knows exactly where to find you not hidden to god that mistake that you may have made that's no coincidence to god god knew what you would do before you did it and so god has an interesting way of approaching moses through a burning bush and says i need you to go back to egypt and i need you to set those people free i need you to set the hebrews or the israelites free get them out of slavery i'm sending you this word to share with them and this is this is where we pick up in exodus 4 10 through 13. and it reads moses said to the lord pardon your servant lord i have never been eloquent neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant i am slow of speech and tongue the lord said to him who gave human beings their mouths who makes them deaf are mute who gives them sight or makes them blind is it not i the lord now go and i will help you speak and will teach you what to say but moses pardoned he says pardon your servant lord please send someone else send someone else moses tells god no like five times who am i who am i that i'm worthy to answer the call that you have for me they won't believe me pardon send somebody else have you ever told god you know what that's not for me god send somebody else that's interesting because he says that he's not eloquent he doesn't know how to speak and i always thought that moses was born with a speech impediment but come to find out in acts 7 22 it says moses was educated in all the wisdom of the egyptians and was powerful in speech and action i wonder what happened between the time that he came from egypt to the time that he went to midian i wonder if his confidence was stolen because of the mistakes that he had made it's like moses was having a moment to himself and he was just looking at all the things and all the reasons why god couldn't use him have you ever had a moses moment where you start looking at what god cannot do through you and it's like you start pulling out this magnifying lens and you start saying to yourself oh god i'm not smart enough i don't know enough god i'm in too much debt god how can you use me god i was abused how can you use me and you're paying attention to every detail and every weakness that is in you and you're not realizing that it's not about us it's bigger than you god is asking us to do the bird's eye view today and take a step back and stop looking down and start looking up [Applause] it's bigger than you it's bigger than you i want to give you three keys to help you to do the bird's eye view and number one it says it says instead of focusing on who we are not start focusing on who god is let's go back to exodus 4 11. then the lord asked moses who makes a person's mouth who decides whether people will speak or do not speak here are do not hear see or do not see is it not i the lord in this moment god is reminding moses that he is the one who created him i created you says god i gave you the words in your mouth that in exodus 3 14 it says god said to moses i am who i am tell the people of israel i am sent me to you that word that name of god i am it's connected to the name yahweh which means self-existent an eternal god external eternal god that means like god is connected to us but he's also set apart from us that he's bigger than the things that we can see no eye has seen no ear has heard of the things that he wants to do through you today church somebody say it's bigger than you you have to stop looking down and start looking up start saying you know what god you are jehovah jireh god you are jehovah shama god i know who you are i know who you are and the call that you have for me is oftentimes gonna be much bigger than what i can see yeah three keys to help you to do the bird's eye view number two is that you are called every single person in here has been called by god every person that's watching online i want you to know that you're called by god that you didn't just step into the earth but god placed you here strategically so that you could answer the call of god on your life i need somebody to know that there are people that are waiting on your obedience to say yes to god there are people literally that may be in bondage that may be a set in captivity and your yes and your obedience could set them free somebody say it's bigger than you you know and i want to know what has god been speaking to you and have you done what you needed to do to be obedient to god in revelation 12 11 it says we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony you know god has led me more recently over the years to share my testimony to share how i i got pregnant in high school and how i had those two abortions and i've seen god just send people to my to me and saying you know what i'm thankful that you shared your message i'm thankful that you shared your testimony because it's helped me to understand that if god can use you then he can use me [Applause] i didn't even realize it i didn't know it was bigger than me until i started answering the call of god and i started seeing god how do you want to use me whatever you say god i'll do it i'll do it afraid i'll do it nervous i'll do it shaken if i have to but i'ma do the call of god [Applause] do i have any bold people that are ready to answer the call of god today number three three keys to help you to do the bird's eye view is to to use what's in your hand let's go back to exodus four one through two this is during the conversation between moses and god when moses was trying to reason with god and saying no i can't do the call i can't go set somebody free and here we are and moses answered but behold they will not believe me or listen to and obey my voice for they will say the lord has not appeared to you and the lord said to him what is that in your hand and he said a rod the same rod that moses used to shepherd the sheep in midian was the same rod that god wanted to perform miracles through moses this rod was very common to moses and i think sometimes the things that are common to us are not common to god what's in your hand he asked moses this is the rod that was part the red sea this is the rod that would that moses would strike a rock and water would flow through it this rod represents victory church i want to ask you what is that in your hands what is it in your hand god has something in you and he wants to use it for his glory what's in your hand you know it's interesting because i grew up and i always had this desire to write and i always thought that was common like yes i'm passionate about writing i'm passionate about encouraging but it was so common to me that i couldn't almost i i was in the moment where i couldn't see that god wanted to use that to help others and so he leads me to start a blog called confidence found in christ and then this blog there will be people that would comment and they would come up to me and say thank you thank you for writing that post i was going through that and you really helped change my life you helped change my perspective and god doesn't stop there when he calls you to something he he gives it to you little by little right and so he says now i need you to write a curriculum based off of this blog that you've written and god led me to lead lead women in our church in a small group and i have a picture of it up in just a moment but god led me to lead these women and to help them to help build confidence in them and all i was doing is i was using what's in my hand all i had was a pen and paper but that's not all that's not that was common to me but that was not common to god what's in your hand you have everything you need to answer the call of god on your life it's always bigger than you you know i was i gotta be honest with you i have to be totally honest with you because i love the story of moses because i relate to him so much i often feel like moses like literally if moses and i were born i think we'd be twins like you could call me mosaic and he's moses like how i have twins boy girl twins that would be us and i used to pick up this magnifying gla lens and i would look at every detail of my life god do you see my past do you see the brokenness of my my past how could you use me my father wasn't around i feel abandoned i made those those mistakes god how could you use me but you got to put the magnifying lens down and you have to start professing the word of god over your life god i didn't ask to be here but you placed me here and as long as you put me in this earth i'm gonna do exactly what you are calling me to do because i understand that it's much bigger than me god if you called me to it i know that you'll give me the grace to do it there's somebody that needs to understand that you are perfect for the assignment and the call that god has for you you got to do the the bird's eye view and take a step back and see that your life is so much bigger than you exodus 4 12. god is giving us something to understand in this text and it says now go i will be with you as you speak and i will instruct you in what to say god calls moses to go back to egypt to free his people and i thought that was so interesting because while moses is saying no he was raised as an egyptian prince what more perfect person would be sent back to go and set the hebrews are the israelites free than the one who was raised as an egyptian prince you are perfect for the call and the assignment that god has for you you will set somebody free that has gone through the same thing that you have gone through all you have to do is say yes all you have to do is be obedient god i'm scared i don't have the words to say but god will give it to you you just have to be willing it's i'm starting to understand that the call the plans that god has for me once i take a step back i see the big picture i see the big picture yeah i want you to go with me to romans 8 29. and it reads for those god for knew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters and those he predestined he also called those he called he also justified those he justified he also glorified just as god had called and glorified moses god has called you and justified you for a glorious purpose but you might be wondering okay we're on this adventure i see what moses did to i see what god did to moses but how how do i even start where do i begin how do i find my purpose and you find your purpose in god's presence that's where that's where moses found his purpose it was in the presence of god and he was building this trusting relationship with god as he took steps out out of his comfort zone to doing what he what god had called him to do you also find your purpose by studying the word of god and declaring god's word over you god's word says that you are chosen god says that you are royal priesthood you are a holy nation i want to give you a couple of next steps that first step would be to see the bigger picture see the bigger picture and allow god to use your story and your obedience to bring people closer to jesus god has given pastor ken and pastor tabitha the vision of reaching two million souls and 20 years this year is known as open heaven and how many of you know that this open heaven initiative it will not happen without your yes it will not happen without you stepping out of your comfort zone and saying god use me use me to set somebody else free use me god in my workplace god use me and help me to see the bigger picture number two is go it's real simple go somebody say go go go back to school go go back and take your boards go and go back and do what the last thing that god told you to do what is it what is it you have something and god wants you to say yes today some of you maybe it's to start a business maybe it's to join the dream team maybe it's to join growth track we literally have a segment called discover your purpose so if that's you and prayer i want to pray a prayer of blessing over you god i just i thank you for every single person that is here that i see you awakening calls god i see you awakening dreams and visions god i pray father god that they will walk in a spirit of boldness a spirit of boldness that would lead them to the to the the victories that you have set before them lord i thank you that nothing will hold them back god lord i pray that you'll reveal to them the gifts and the the purpose that you've placed them in this earth god in jesus mighty name online amen you know i never take this moment for granted and i never overlook those that may not have received jesus as their lord and savior and just as god has sent moses to deliver his people back in egypt god sent his son jesus to bring us closer to our heavenly father to be the deliverer for us and i just want to know who i'm praying for online if you're watching i just want you to say type in the chat pray with me i want to know exactly who i'm praying for and in just a moment i want to read a scripture it's in matthew 10 32 through 33. whoever acknowledges me before others i will also acknowledge before my father in heaven but whoever disowns me before others i will disown before my father in heaven the good news is that we can acknowledge god the good news is that god will acknowledge us as we acknowledge him i want to know exactly who i'm praying for today we're going to pray together if you have not received jesus into your heart i want to pray with you every head bow just lift up your hand i believe i see hands being lifted up and raised all over the building today hands online being raised all throughout our nation and i just want you to repeat after me heavenly father come into my heart be the lord of my life god have your way i repent i receive your son jesus [Music] and i will live for you in jesus name amen all of heaven is rejoicing all of heaven there's a party going on in heaven for you i just want
