when people think of wineries in Italy they first envision Tuscany but just an hour and a half north of Venice is a breathtaking region where some of the finest Italian bubbly is made [Music] having a local driver is the way to go in Prosecco Road and I'm really glad I was able to book Oriana by Liana she introduced us to the area and showed us some of her favorite hidden gems along the route this included a restaurant I never would have found otherwise where I had some of the best pasta of my entire life [Music] [Applause] [Music] a lot of wineries are by appointment only so it was especially nice having someone arrange everything for us we learned about what makes Prosecco Prosecco from the special Klara grape that's used to the differences in soil and how it affects the taste [Music] it's hard to say with the star of a trip to Prosecco rodas the sparkling wine or the views either way it's the perfect day trip from Venice to relax indulge and marvel at the wonders of Italy [Music] [Applause] you [Music]
