welcome back everybody to tez the driver over doing very well and welcome to my second attempt at a 360 video I actually did this on Friday but sadly it failed really badly when my camera was totally distinct and everything okay very interestingly look forward we've got a cyclist coming ahead let's see when the car sees it and starts to slow down we definitely can't go for the overtake cuz there's a car there so I'm hoping we're gonna come right up behind it very nicely done there and we can just go around the cyclist nice and safely it looks good as well on there interesting enough I think because I didn't go at the full way onto the other side of the road now actually started to warn me about the cyclist himself but we knew Walker he was there so yeah that was actually not a bad start so welcome to a 360 video feel free to spin around use your phone and look around or swipe around if you're on the computer I won't be doing loads of these 360 videos but if you like it because it's something a little bit different give it a thumbs up and hopefully this will be your first ride in a Model 3 you can see there it showed the person walking very nicely on the pavement and it showed him walking in that direction as well so that was really impressive coming up we've got a cyclist that I can see and this is actually this is where I don't think water poets gonna work correctly the road is quite wide as you can see the road widens here really wide compared to most of UK roads and we're hugging the right-hand side so it might actually just go past it thinking he's on a cycle lane yeah look at that straight past him he didn't even appear on the screen he didn't appear on the screen that is not good okay that's definitely something that we've obviously got to look at because that cyclist didn't appear and it just winter I mean it went around here no problems but I'm worried it actually didn't know he was here so this is a new update 2020 dot 16 something or I'm not actually sure what software update this is let me have a little look it is whereabouts so I'm just trying to focus on in front 16 dot 2.1 and that brings with it a few updates sadly in the UK we didn't get all of the updates so there were some new games they've redone the launcher and they've redone some of the menus that which look really really nice but in terms of autopilot they've updated several things that anime of people and bikes look different so now they actually walk and they have a direction of travel which is which is obviously very good and something that the car will need to know you see they're picking up the bins picking up the cones very nicely here but what I've also noticed is it now slows down itself around some corners these guys are on the road here let's see no didn't pick them up at all again these people here they're kind of camouflage is it gonna pick them up at all no is it gonna pick the jogger up now it's not showing anybody else just yet so yes so now I have noticed it is slowing itself down for some corners which is really exciting and something huge that will make a huge difference and is obviously very much needed sadly again it's not changing speed limits for us but that I'm sure will come as we go right where's the car going here it has picked the correct lane again we've got cyclists on our lane here so I'm gonna go for the overtake but sadly you won't do it and what I'm gonna have to do is actually pull off myself and just do the overtake because wow they were going all over the base so again versus cyclists is Tesla versus cyclists is a real thing and it's not quite there yet I don't feel I am wearing swimming trunks it's so hot today I don't know what it is 28 degrees in the UK I've got very bad hay fever so apologies for any kind of nasally talking so yeah obviously this is a dual carriageway but it won't go over to the second lane here because it's not closed off and there's no central reservation I actually gonna bring this down to 50 because I'm assuming we're gonna have a lot of cyclists come up on us today so again the cars a little bit of trouble here where are we going and there's a cyclist there and the car really not doing what I want it to be doing if I'm being totally honest around cyclists it's actually started speeding up as it saw that cyclist and wasn't slowing down for it wasn't trying to maneuver around it yeah it seems a little bit still a little bit dodgy for us cyclists so again a wide road which previously we had lots of issues on it never knew where to sit itself I'm hoping now it's just gonna stay like this in the middle which is where it should be but it seems like wig hugging yeah we're definitely hugging this right hand line so you see this road here the general courtesy on this road is that car stick to the left and people can overtake in the middle even if there's cars on the other side of the road and everyone around here does it it's just you know a common thing and that is something that's either gonna have to change and people won't be doing that when these cars become more prevalent and more just normal I guess or cars going to have to learn to keep to the left-hand side of a lane rather than in the center here so we've got some people here on the left that I'm just keeping an eye out for is the car gonna pick them up and saw what do you think they are in my biz interestingly enough and actually move the lines when it got to the people and it pushed me slightly further to the right I don't think you saw them but still it did some kind of evasive action there which is which is quite good so this road we're coming up to here it's on the way to one for a basically I'm going from calm to more breath this is a really good UK Road so this isn't a bad countryside Road this is a nice Road we have in the UK so I'm not putting it to too many crazy tests as of yet but we will do that in the future of course the NAG as well seems to have subsided a little bit it used to be every 10-15 seconds whereas now it seems like it's every 30 seconds or so that the neck comes up and I found that if you just leave the thumb on and slightly pull down it's a little bit more sensitive now so it seems to not not nag you which is really good so we're coming up to a roundabout let's see if the car decides that it wants to slow down for a roundabout yet or are we gonna have to take it off yeah it doesn't look like it oh here we go it is slowing down actually it is slowing down and it's taking taking the left lane I'll bring it off here and do the rest of this myself so we've got a biker in front of us which could be quite interesting actually because this will see what we need to cut that a little bit too it's a little bit too close I think it's be interesting to see how it reacts a motorbike controlling its speed controlling how it drives and everything here we go so I did this roads everyday in my first car my fiesta and then my box of water cuz I went to school in Mora doing these rows nicely it's slowing itself down to get around these corners so we're just going to stick it out the speed limit and basically let it let it do its thing oh look at that that's really cool got a sidecar on his on his bike so here is is quite a tight little or actually slowed us down a little bit this is a pretty tight turn coming up but it seems to be pretty confident that it can do it yeah it's slowing yourself down slightly 258 I personally would have slowed myself down to probably 55 through here but there we go we've got our first actual limited there and it slowed herself down to 56 so if that was all we got some cyclists on the road so they're interesting very interesting did you see that so the car actually alerted me while I was on full self Drive while I was on autopilot about the cyclists however it didn't Jesus okay that is awful it was taking us all the way over to the other side of the road what was that about I have absolutely no idea why it started to do that I think maybe there because we went under some trees it almost did some camouflaging on the road and the car struggled to see the lines and actually started to drift us over to the other side of the road which would be very very dangerous we've got another cyclist coming up my gosh I didn't realize how many cyclists there would be today and again naturally everyone's just funneling around them so I'm gonna obviously take it off myself and go around is the cycle it's gonna appear nope the cyclists didn't appear yet again on the screen which is slightly worrying so I'd be worrying I've got to say however it is tracking this bike nicely and it's doing the rest of it well again this is quite a tight corner as it goes up it's it's getting quite close to the right then it tucks itself back in here another cyclist on the left is gonna pick him up no not picking him up let's see how it behaves here so I assume this I place too this bike is gonna go for the overtake well see what that looks like on the map but also see if the car does anything about it there it goes no didn't affect the car in any way and it showed it really nicely actually the visualization just showing him overtaking so sometimes these lines in the road that you can hear the rumble strips that used to be where a speed camera was and it basically warns you that that's where the speed camera is going to take your photo if you're speeding but sometimes it does think that that is a solid line and it will push you one side or the other side of that line which can be a little bit worrying but it didn't do it that time which is good so that's a nice improvement again some pretty tight corners here the cars breaking they're down to 54 again another fairly tight corner car I did really well on that it's doing pretty well so far we've had a good we've had a couple of issues not gonna lie who seems to be with the cyclists and also the foliage cyclists and foliage so far seem to be our big issues so basically gonna be going all this way back tomorrow and then we'll be coming back around and trying it the other way and just sitting just see what the difference is and seeing if if for example that was an issue with the trees because it should have been on the way back so we should get a good good judgement here of of what's really happening again as we come into the 50 we'll see this here drop down to 50 right about there and then we click it and that will bring us down to 50 okay Barney away we got support Foley as I see it see how camouflage it is you see how hard it is to see things let's see how the car deals with it surprisingly well I think it's potentially because of a car in front but yes doing well there some people braking so let's see how this breaks actually really smooth and no real problems that I've noticed through there that was pretty good so we're going to go into more brat and through more burr as well and just see what it's like there and hopefully we'll get some pedestrians walking past us as well so we'll be able to get the visualization of the pedestrians on the 360 camera few guys slowing us down slightly here might be because of the cars in front how this guy's going off and see how the car reacts to this so he's in the different Lane and now the Tesla just continued forward really well done so again it gave it space it slowed down slightly and let it go and then it's off on its way so that was really nice okay this is a really tight corner here and it's quite a tight road as well a little bit nervous about it let's see yeah it's got a limiter on it but it still went around it I think it's though because our speed is so low because of all the people in front of us if you hit this at the like the speed that normally people drive down here which is you know 55 60 it would definitely have done that we're kind of lurching break so we're coming into more pronounced oh it goes into a 40 and there are a couple of roundabouts that I'm aren't obviously gonna have to navigate myself I'm hoping it will go through the most of the town itself let's see how how well it wants to do so slowing us down here into the 40 we've got the diamond there interesting enough on the road but there definitely wasn't a diamond on the road at all no problems now with those zigzag lines do you remember the zigzag line has made the car do that previously no problems with those anymore which is really nice to have that was always a bit of a weird one and here we go into more bruh have a look around this absolutely lovely houses over here to the left some amazing Bills have just gone up and also more bruh College which is where some of the Royals have come from has also just upgraded some of their dorms and whatnot and it looks really really nice now so it's a nice drive through more bright it also has the widest I think it's the widest Town Road in the UK so this is the widest road in the UK high breaking here for this car turning off and this car no problem and then very smoothly accelerating again got some people on the pavement will it pick them up at all no I'm not showing us people on the pavement and now we're going into a 30 so I got to bring this all the way down to 30 there you go so it's picking up some of the cyclists they're interesting it picks up the bikes all the time but the cyclists they sometimes stir sometimes doesn't I'm intrigued to know what the difference is between those maybe it's like the thickness of the bike it like it just looks more obvious but yeah a little bit strange that one very tight corner here I don't know if it's gonna be able to do it it might do it actually because this car in front has slowed us right now but let's see yeah it has done it okay it went really far over to the left there but it did do it you see lines as well appearing which is nice for the traffic lights and now I'm gonna have to take it in control as we go around this roundabout so again we got some cyclists in front of us which I don't really want to turn autopilot on here because I'm worried that it might go around them but as this is kind of like a one one lane road it's pretty tough okay should give us enough space don't know if autopilot wants to turn on doesn't say it will no no autopilot turning on as of yet just going to keep it nice and slow down here there we go okay now we've got autopilot on what I'm actually going to do is I'm going to keep this at 25 miles an hour down here and just see what it decides to do it's going a little bit left oh right there got a police officer in front of us looking very strangely at me as we were going through it went sideways I thought I'd best turn that off while he was watching so not wanting to turn back on and we've got our crossing here so this will be perfect showing us the people walking there you go look at that and it shows the direction that she's walking it only showed one of them but still it showed a human crossing the road and it was walking in the right direction so that was actually that was really good well done while them tears are on that one okay so we're going to turn back around and basically redo what we've just done here and to do that we're doing the lap around more bronze let me put it back on this is gonna be interesting because we've got cars there he just he gets very close when it starts speeding up and it just seems almost too confident that he wants to go through those cars seems a little bit crazy okay alright we're gonna do a right turn here right turn here and down this route okay so again this goes very tight past the Vauxhall or least it used to be a box or garage police station here on the left and I used to go to school just up here on the left so yeah we used to walk around this town most days so here the lines disappear in the middle of the roads and we've got cars coming whoa okay so the car slightly lurched and then it actually brake very very hard there and so I don't think it was sure what it wanted to do okay let's see yeah so the car gave us a good warning there that obviously they were pulling out and we'll put it back on so again no lies in the middle of the road whoa we are breaking we are breaking but it's sticking to the left and now as you can see pulling us into the middle of the road which just isn't isn't natural is not right and not what we want to happen so we'll take it back on back on control there go right back over okay we're back on here and again there's no lines in the middle but these cars are waiting for us which is great and then this is back up to that little mini roundabout okay let's see if he'll do this really tight corner then from this side of the road I'm gonna keep it a 20 there's no one behind us oh yeah apologies by the way that there's Christmas decorations in the back I totally forgot to even mention that there were Christmas decorations so it had to break to get around that corner and it went slightly too wide for my liking so again the limitations here in the UK or in the EU because this is an EU software version it's just too tight like it won't let the car turn tight enough to get around corners even at a very slow speed and I just don't quite see why they're doing that I really don't so here we go all the way on the back on the back route back home there's gonna be a few areas that we're gonna be looking out for mainly those foliage areas because that seems to cause us problems last time and cyclists and cyclists to show the cyclists now again it's not showing cyclists on the other side of the road even though it is showing cars so it really should be for example should show here but it doesn't strange either lovely houses up here oh yeah so it the reason that I've got Christmas stuff in the back is that we were moving house back down from our house so we've just had to move everything out and this is literally the last load of stuff the Christmas decorations that's why it's in the car so we go some more lights again sadly in the UK it doesn't stop the traffic lights here oh it's breaking I think it was breaking for the bollards in the middle of the road yeah so we don't have that update where it will stop for every single light which is a shame but however I have been contacted by Tesla and I did give them my VIN number to get software updates as early as possible but it just shows the difference of what we're getting here in the EU compared to the full software update which is obviously America only for now for now at least so here we go we'll keep it at 60 like I said before I think it's gonna have more problems at 60 it's just gonna do the limitation a little bit more but let's see let's see if it has learn or if it's toy itself to slow down at all four corners so far it definitely hasn't it's yeah I was just it was keeping at 64 that again it's speeding yourself back up to 64 this corner so maybe on this road it doesn't seem like it wants to slow itself down but again if it didn't have those limitations this wouldn't be a problem it really wouldn't it wouldn't be a problem if it didn't have limitations slowing yourself down braking hard there to get that corner again I would have rather it broke way way earlier braked way way earlier and did it smoothly but it seems again is picking up the speed for this corner I'm gonna bring it down five and I'm gonna bring it down another five because we're going into a 50 but yeah on this route it doesn't it's not actually doing it as much on another route when I came back from our house up in Herefords it breaks for so many corners and think them so smoothly maybe it's because I've done that journey so many times and I haven't done this journey much at all in my Tesla it was like hey we fix this room for you sure so again the lights here they fade a little bit they go a little bit funny but they see the cars keep it nice and straight it's even picking up the arrows which I'm really impressed by it's half of the arrow sight you can't even see again this is really hard for vision to sort out it's a horrible it's like dark but light at the same time and stuff very tough to figure out but it did it pretty smoothly and it kept us in the middle of the road which is nice so I decided to get Reed buttoned up again yeah it breaks there for us and you actually saw that flick where it thought the side of the road was inflicting it for us what does it think this tractor is I'm going to go with the lorry no the tractor didn't even appear okay it wasn't bothered by that tractor at all I'll keep it at 55 for these corners there is a cyclist up ahead how is the car going to deal with this no yeah again look at that it's just following behind the cyclist and again the cyclist didn't even appear on the screen what has happened what has happened with this update and cyclists right I've got another cyclist ahead there's no behind us but what I'm gonna do is I'm going to bring this all the way down to 45 and see if it just does anything here we go up to another cyclists there we go okay so now it's breaking and now it's going behind him which is good okay so it did it a lot better that time so going slower allowed it to see the cyclist and react smoothly without getting too close and just like slamming on because it's it's it's actually scary being in the car while it's accelerating and you can see a cyclist as soon as it sees a cyclist on our side of the road it'd be great if it just slowed down just a little bit so I'll keep it at 50 whoa braking really hard sure about that BMW yeah and the bikes it's picking up the bikes the cars so I think it was a little bit worried there that they were on the road but again good to see I'd rather it be cautious that accelerate at cyclists so that was still slightly better to see again going round here is good this is all changed its hours of school they never used to be anything in the middle here because this used to be a really good overtaking zone but okay so we've got a car pull out in front of us how quick are we gonna react to this car pulling out in front of us there you go you can see up ahead so it sees it nice and early and this is the foliage area this is the bad area that it failed at last time that's a London taxi that was quite cool to see why are we going dirty though right what does it think of this I mean at 30 it should be fine yeah it's absolutely fine at 30 but apparently the other way round it really struggled out this is Silbury Hill by the way over here and then over there is a long if you look that way there's like a tunnel that you can go into and there's loads of stuff over there so this guy here is turning left and parking up here and I'm just going to see the Tesla's just stopping completely behind it which was interesting I will put back on so this is a little bit touristy you see we've got some horses over there as well I don't know if it's gonna pick there but not from this distance obviously but speaking of speeds go around yeah so there's a long I think there's a long barrel or something or whatever it's called where they used to have loads of bodies and stuff even go down there which is really cool and it did that bit really nicely I was expecting it there to have some more issues but it actually did it really really well but lockdown has definitely it it hasn't it there is people everywhere and funny dove it doesn't even change till tomorrow but yeah everyone's out and about today and bring it down to 54 this fit because it does get a little bit hairy and I'm just worried that it's gonna struggle with it again it's the lighting it's the lighting I feel that become I struggle with but now actually did that really well did that really really well
