lol
all the cheesy reality TV editing with half the actual content! I'd rather just watch a vsauce video.
Don't get me wrong, I love me some VSauce but something about this just felt...well, fake. Really fake and set up. Even the prison dude seemed like an actor.
I love that boredom experiment from the beginning. 2 minutes of boredom is enough to get a guy who clearly hates being shocked to shock himself again.
EDIT: Overall, this was a pretty good video to skim through. I'm not a huge fan of the VSauce guy and his editing style, but once he got in the room, it was certainly interesting to watch. The last day he's in there was pretty crazy.
Oh god that horrendous pushup form
I can understand people complaining about it being too TV-like if you don't like TV. But, personally I have always enjoyed a good TV show, I just hated the commericals.
It's too much like the TV I stopped watching years back. It was ok, I guess, but l would rather look for more unique online content.
I guess I must share my opinion as apparently I am in the minority this time! I quite enjoyed the delivery of this video. I think Michael did a good job setting up the concepts and exploring them one point at a time until it culminated into the final experiment. I actually enjoy the TV style presentation; it is literally the same presentation as Michael would have given anyway, but, yeah, there is a little bit of a fluffier budget with silly shit like 9 TV screens in the control room. Other than that though, I found myself very engaged and interested in the content, and I'm interested in watching Episode 2.
This actually makes me want to pay for the other episodes. Really enjoyed the first one
