Isla Blanca park jetty trying my luck with the spoon

foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] thank you what's going on everybody So today we're out here in Port Isabel it is a beautiful morning we're here at AJ's baits bait shop came to visit AJ to see if he had any baits um let's see if we can get some mullets some live mullet and maybe try our luck there at the Jetties but yeah guys uh so we're gonna go see if we can get some bait and see what goes on [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] yeah we're gonna try it out today man we got here a little late for them they can get some fish or something um [Music] a lot of uh a lot of Reds too on the channel side right we're gonna try it out man hopefully something your best bet for a jack would be literally go on the Jetties uh with a pretty heavy uh lure tackle as far out as you can from the Channel Side even the Surfside here sometimes and just just a steady retrieve oh man well we're gonna get going I appreciate it brother yes sir yeah um let me know if you ever get some more mullet yeah oh wow yeah yeah yeah I didn't bring any of those today just booms uh on that one you can cut oh really oh okay yeah you got a good one jeez huh awesome also you guys have to walk to the very end over there the only thing I brought was a spoon yeah yeah I'm happy the Jack was taking my ass um yeah I saw a lot of people coming back with Jax and I was like should I go should I not go should I go I was like I only have a spoon those probably like and how much yesterday like 50 Rings yeah and there was like another school of twins don't cry like 30k today probably next uh or this on Sunday probably come back and probably head over there because probably this weekend too because my friend went to go uh right now in basketball they're having like 18. 18 bucks we'll probably go check it out eventually yeah yeah yeah I was trying to use a spoon right here maybe pick up a red or something should I pick it up yeah but what I do when I toss it I toss it really part and first I jerking everything fast and then I take a pause yeah aren't they too strong for you it's a good fight s like five minutes we have to use the veggie tool I got it right here where'd you get it I got it Amazon Amazon yeah I need to get one too I was gonna go today but then I've been going I've been going like the past three four times and nothing dude so you can know I'm gonna come yeah we went a few days ago it was all right it wasn't really it's yeah just Whiting and nothing oh I got one oh my God I had one wow huh the spoon my dragon's a little too loose that was badass I saw him hit it from way out there I missed it again yeah I'm getting bites but I'm also getting tired three bites what'd you get them on that big lure the X wrap everybody's been using that one man it looks like it's working yeah that was earlier though yeah one last one like this for you brother because one two three there you go yeah yeah I had three of them man it's only one geez that's a nice one yeah I just lost like a few of them right now this is that I don't have any steel leaders I'm using 80 pound mono and that fish just freaking popped my line like nothing yeah they're here I don't know it was one of these it probably was one of these he bit my line off I thought this 44 inch red the other day oh yeah that's a nice one man the same lure no I uh a little smaller okay yeah I can't smell it with my dad okay I got tired of throwing the lure so that's what I was doing earlier I caught mullet with my net and I've just been lazy yeah good luck yeah man thanks appreciate it oh some nice fish thanks all right guys so I did get to try it out a few times I did lose a good a few uh Kingfish out here it's the first time I use a spoon out here uh and get some bites like that but I know what I'm gonna be doing a lot more often now so I did I did use a spoon out here I did get a couple bites um I was you the thing is I was not using the correct gear I was using 80 pound mono and even with the 80 pound mono they cut right through it so just got to get the right gear come out here try it out again see if I can get on one of these things still gotta try it out hopefully uh hopefully I can still maybe get another bite or something I got one more spoon they took my other spoon so my dad's out there using the other spoon that's my mom I hear it I just don't see it careful but yeah guys unfortunately we weren't able to catch anything again we did learn some stuff today though um you know hopefully next time when we come out here we'll be able to get a king or something either way guys really
