Is the Dyson Airstrait still WORTH IT?! - 2024 Honest Review

today I'm going to share what I like about it what I don't like about it I know that a lot of people don't like this effect it's not going to be for those people I'm not going to be getting rid of this device this works so much better basically that temperature is almost cut in half and I still get amazing results my hair is straight even here before would totally burn my hair like literally and if I would have to choose between d air and d air straight the difference in amount of splittin I see 80% less which is incredible I was never able to grow my hair to this length like it's insane hi everyone so in today's video I'm going to be making an updated review on my Dyson air straight that I keep in this little pouch here I have another one exactly the same one for my uh Dyson air up and I love it because it just makes so much easier to travel to store it so it doesn't get Dusty and I tested some more the other ones available on Amazon I had a separate video on my channel but this one is just the best travel case or just case for my air up and it was also the cheapest so yep here I store my precious device that I had for damn when did I buy it like almost a year ago right yeah it's been a long time still here with me and I don't use it all the time and in today's video I'm going to share what I like about it what I don't like about it after using it for some time and if I would buy it again so if you are thinking of buying Dyson air straight definitely watch the whole review I'm going to also style my hair with it so you can see how it works but yeah basically my hair is not fully dry it I washed it this morning and this is what it looks like kind of curly but I brushed it right after I wash it but then obviously it start to curl up a little bit so this is it and I'm just going to plag this in and start styling my hair and after I'm done I'm going to share all the things that you want to hear so but but yeah let's just first put this in the test let's see how it works okay so this is what the Dyson air straight looks like uh you can see there's a power button and when you turn it on it's cleaning itself then you can change uh the temperature here you get three different options there's also separate button to change the air from hot to cold so you don't need to go to heat settings to change that and to finish up your hairstyle there's also different air settings there's low or high I always use it on high I really like that whenever you place this air straight on uh on your desk on your vanity it stops working automatically so if I'm taking my sweater off because it's going to get really hot uh or just taking a break it's not running constantly I like that okay first things first you got to brush your hair through and I usually separate it in a few sections depending how much hair you have how thick is your hair um you know you do you after that I usually um blow dry my hair here using the air straight right next to my scalp uh just because it's a little harder to get that part dry first so um that's what Dyson says to do and then I run this air straight uh through my hair like you can see here I only do two PES and that's pretty much it and I only do one pass on the ends of my hair and this is the result I know it's great and here's quick before and after you can see the difference a lot more smooth and silky and super shiny insanely quick as you can see I only separated uh this in three parts and I literally ran with the Dyson air straight basically until the half of uh each part twice and then once only at the end okay so I'm speeding up this part because it's pretty repetitive uh basically I take each section and I pass uh with the Dyson air stay twice uh right next to the scalp like up to half of my hair length and then only one pass uh at the ends because uh my hair is very thin and very delicate so I don't want to put too much heat on the ends uh especially that it doesn't need it because uh the air pressure is already so strong that it's straightening my hair uh when I'm uh using it by scalp but it's already working on the ends I can definitely minimize uh you know using heat on my hair uh with this tool because of uh this air pressure and here you can see my super silky extremely shiny hair like I can never get that effect using anything else like it just looks so much healthier than if I would even be using uh just regular hair straighteners so I love it okay so this is what my hair looks literally right after that didn't take much time at all which I really really love about this device uh because I was never able to achieve this effect in such short amount of time like literally less than 10 minutes it's insane my hair is naturally freezy curly and to achieve this amazing effect it just my hair is in incredibly shiny smooth soft insanely soft it's insane I love it so these are the pr obviously I don't have to use high temperature I can style my hair in insanely short amount of time and my hair looks amazing I didn't have to learn how to use this device literally first time I used it this is what I got and I was amazed I was blown away I loved it but cons if you have very thin hair if you have you know hair like mine you will see that it's pretty flat which I know that a lot of people don't like this effect so it's not going to be for those people because this is what you get I mean you can use lower temperature okay I had to move because my husband has a meeting in the other room so that's that anyhow so like I was saying this device will not be for everyone because some people just don't like having fully straight hair I totally understand it honestly I'm the so way like I used to love very flat very you know straight smooth look that was a few years ago and now I completely changed and I really really like to just curl my hair with the Dyson air wrap that works for me I do it basically anytime I wash my hair I just use Dyson AR up to blow dry my hair and then style it in waves and I love it it just makes my hair like look more full since I have very thin hair so I definitely prefer that so I fully understand that this may not be for you like I definitely would not be using it this device every day because it just it looks good but I still prefer myself and CS you know so I mostly use this device uh whenever I do the curon treatment if you haven't watched my video on curon treatment I've been using it for a few years and I love it so I'm not going to be getting r of this device because it shortened the amount of time I spent doing the crch treatment tremendously because it's just insane like this works so much better than just straightener even though it's not using you know the temperature that they I they advise you to use like 400° this is only 85 so basically that temperature is almost cut in half and I still get amazing results and I don't have to spend that much time drying and styling my hair with the Caron treatment I literally do the treatment like maybe like twice a year three times a year it really depends depends what products I use and how how fast my hair grow whenever I use like products with alcohol like for scalp like hair growth obviously that washes off the karatin treatment and I need to do it more often when I'm not using it I can get away with just applying kattin treatment twice a year so I don't use this device often but when I do it's it's incredible like I used to get so frustrated because it would take so much time to you know straighten my hair with the cring treatment it would smell awful even though the curtain treatment that I use doesn't contain the from alahh you know it's still the wet hair with the product like it doesn't smell great somehow when I use this device like it seals that product inside of my hair it dries it and it gets it sealed so quickly that it's I don't smell it anymore like it's amazing it it it's just like the all the frustration that I had during the treatment which I didn't mind it was just something I dreaded because it wasn't amazing but like the results were amazing so I was like whatever but now I don't have to deal with it because of this device and my hair looks so much healthier I see a lot less splittin the difference in amount of splittin literally I would say I see 80% less which is incredible I was never able to grow my hair to this length like it's ins insane I literally can't believe it and it makes me honestly so so happy because for the longest time I'm 31 years old and I I was never able to grow my hair that long I know that it's it's obviously my hair care but I've been using the same hair care for for the longest time and the only thing that I added a few years ago was the Dyson AR up and now D and air straight and the difference in my hair Health even though like these devices are not cheap I bought them all with my own money this is not sponsored even if it was honestly I love these devices so much I'm going to recommend Dyson air Dyson air straight forever honestly because it's been years since I first bought it and I've been using it regularly and at first when I was using Dyson air WRA it took me a very long time to learn how to use it I didn't know how to use it like I was not happy with the results my hair wouldn't last like the curls obviously and it took practice it took time but I learned what works for my hair and my hair literally lasts until the next wash and it's like usually 2 3 days minimum and my hair is beautiful even on the third day it's you know I still get the waves I still get the curls and I don't need to use high temperature I don't need to damage my hair even though I'm still using heat because like I said 285° the highest temperature on this it's still technically kind of high but I guess my hair using the heat protecting products that I'm using is not getting as damaged as before with a higher temperature so that definitely I can see you know I can see and after almost a year with the Dyson air straight even though I don't use it every day even though like I just use it every few months honestly but when I do and I'm using like the highest temperature on my wet hair like something before would totally burn my hair like literally I would not be able to do it on my super thin hair now I can do it with the Dyson air straight and uh my hair is still insanely healthy so just for that reason I can not recommend this product enough and it's a still very expensive device so obviously it's not going to be for everyone and if I would have to choose between Dyson AR up and Dyson air straight if I would have to choose only one device I'll definitely buy the Dyson era because I use it every week but having said so I'm not going to be getting rid of this device even though you know it wasn't cheap but I'm not pring to sell it because whenever I use it it's worth it so take that from me I use it literally just few times a year and I still think it's worth so I would say that says a lot obviously people be recommending products that they use every day I use this product only a few times a year and I still recommend it whenever like it's super rainy outside and I haven't done my Caron treatment in a while and I know that my hair I want my hair look super smooth and elegant that's going to be the device that I'm going to use obviously because I'm going to get super Sleek look and I don't have to worry about my hair getting freezing whenever I use the highest temperature when I use the lowest temperature and I haven't done the carty treatment in a while it's not going to last as long but uh I've tested all the temperatures with this device and definitely the highest one will get you the effect and obviously use the cold temperature at the end to fully dry your hair and seal that look yeah basically if you use this device in short what you have to do you can use it on wet on dry hair and you can really get close to your scalp with this device like you can see my hair is straight even here obviously you can close it and like blow dry your hair first which works really well and it's advisable to do so but I can still get very close to my hair to my scalp and still straighten it and I love the effect so that's all you have to do and my tip for the least damage you can do is to blow dry just half of your hair twice and then the ends once only because you don't need to go over your ends twice if you have bra thin hair like me so I've noticed that that works the best for me this way I don't have to you know just add more damage to the ends of my hair and that seems to be working great so that's just the tip that I've learned by using it but that's it I'm so happy with this device and like I said I'm still going to be recommending it even though I don't plan to use it every day I just use it every few months and it's just something that I really can see um not having in my bathroom because whenever I need it it's there for me so I'm going to link everything down below the dys and air straight uh as well as my hair care uh maeps that I've been using and I've
