Mint is indeed better than Windoze
It's Techquickie, technically. But, yeah, Linus Media Group featuring Mint is big.
Not a very good video for someone to consider jumping over to Linux - it just glances over basic stuff that appears at Mint main website, and just at the end vaguely mentions drawbacks. Chris Titus did a better one, when he straight up tells you 5 reasons to NOT jump into Linux, and then lists Mint as his favorite starter distro (also providing a solid reasoning behind it (actually that was in his different video: why I don't review distros)) :-)
Yes, Mint for me, since years. A year or two ago I changed to the Linux Mint Debian Edition, which feels even more stable. It's based directly on Debian stable, where regular Mint is based on Ubuntu, which in turn is originally based on Debian Testing. Which is slightly newer but who needs that anyway.
I have it running in dual boot with Cloudready, which is now ChromeOS Flex. The processor of the laptop is too old to let Linux run inside ChromeOS, so this works wonders for me.
Oh yes: triple boot actually, with Android running too.
Windows? Well, at work yes, but at home... never again.
I keep getting audio stutters on mint. Someone said to switch to pulseaudio but that didn't work.
I always recommend Linux Mint 21 XFCE edition for first-timers and have had no complaints to date.
for sure
Either Ubuntu 22.04 or Mint 21 is way better than Windoze.
clickbait
PS Linux is by far better than windows.... until you need to run that "special" windows-only app or you need to use that "special" hardware with windows-only proprietary drivers.
