Is Elementor Pro Still Worth It in 2021? (pros and cons)

hey everyone this is tony teaches tech i'm tony and in this video i'm going to go through some of the pros and cons of buying elementor pro for your website [Music] a lot of people see the price of elementor pro which starts at 49 per year per website and cannot justify the cost of the subscription let's put the price of elementor pro as our first con but don't be so quick to discount it all together because there are literally hundreds of premium features that give you complete control over the layout and design of your website now i won't go through every single feature in this video but i will spotlight a handful of my favorites while of course being realistic and pointing out the downsides to elementor along the way with pricing still in mind the good news is that if you have multiple websites you can get the price per website down to 33 dollars with the advanced plan in just eight dollars per website with the expert plan but again we cannot justify the pricing without first understanding what elementor pro has to offer so let's talk about some of these features first and foremost you don't need to know a single lick of html css or javascript to use elementor instead elementor pro has over 90 widgets that you can simply drag and drop onto your web page to customize the design of your site in addition to this elementor pro has a library of over 200 pre-built ready to go templates that you can use as a starting point for your website some of my favorite templates are this one with a beautiful full width gradient and an animated counter widget and this one with a really cool cloud-shaped divider which in fact can be infinitely customized to be waves drops triangles and other various shapes and patterns you can also apply this sort of organic shaping to your headlines and text with the text path widget which will place your headlines along a wave arc circle or even a spiral speaking of customization a problem that a lot of people have when using vanilla wordpress is incorporating your brand's colors into your website elementor solves this with global site settings that give you consistency across your site with settings that you define once used globally and then can change at any time again no coding required one of my personal favorite features of elementor are the animated headlines you can do everything from a double underline and a zigzag to circles and so much more additionally you can further grab your reader's attention with these other text-based animations while we're talking about animations this next set of features will probably blow you away elementor gives you the ability to do advanced parallax effects like this one horizontal scrolls like this variable text transparency text blurring rotations scaling and mouse track effects now i will take a moment to say here that some of these features definitely not all of them but some of them have the potential to make the size of your web pages bigger if you have good enough web hosting and your visitors have fast enough internet then this probably won't be a problem for you on the other hand if you want an exceptionally fast website then just be aware of this as you're designing your web pages with elementor with that being said you can use elementor with pretty much any wordpress theme including two of my favorites hello and generatepress which on their own are some of the fastest loading wordpress themes available if you're at all familiar with wordpress then you're probably familiar with plugins some of which are free and others that you have to pay for and the way i look at elementor is like getting dozens of plugins in one for example in elementor you have the share buttons widget which allows you to add social sharing buttons to your pages which without elementor you would need to download a plugin and pay separately to have that feature on your website another example is forms like contact forms and sign up pages which is a feature that's built right into elementor whereas you would need to again download yet another plugin and pay for another yearly subscription fee in order to put forms like that on your website on that note elementor integrates with some of your favorite services like mailchimp convertkit zapier and quite a few others as you can see here now i will say that while elementor has all of these wonderful features there is a bit of a learning curve not necessarily for implementing these widgets but maybe for things like understanding the user interface and knowing where to tweak different things but if you're willing to spend a few minutes to learn then i think you'll be satisfied with what you're able to accomplish elementor has a 30 day no questions asked money back guarantee so definitely use my referral link below to check it out and take your website's design to the next level i want to thank you guys for watching subscribe for more videos like this from me in the future and if you do i'll see you in the next one you
