Iron lung

right okay what we're gonna do is I'm going to show you this thing here which is called an iron lung okay now these used to be used to help people to breathe who are not able to breathe on their own so independently and I'm going to show you another little image of this here and and explain to you how this machine works so can you say that here there are these bellows so what we can do is move the bellows this way see my groove little arrow there so we move the bellows this way making the space inside here greater so if the space inside there is greater if there's more space in there means that air will be able to spread out more and the air will be under a lower pressure and that will cause air to rush into the lungs from the outside so the air will then move can I twist this oh wow can i the air will then rush into the patients lungs and the reason why the air will rush in to the lungs is because we made we've moved this we've moved the bellows there made the space inside here greater which means the pressure is less it's the pressure on the outside is greater than the pressure inside causing the air to rush in to that man's body and that's it thank you
