Introducing the Red giant ( Massey 1100)

got a new item coming in today hey welcome back to another episode currently i'm in vacation right now down in north carolina but i have some footage of us getting a new tractor it's back in when it was created they were known as the red giants i hope you enjoy the video i threw in some clips on of our dealership unloading it talk about what it is how many horsepower all the stuff that's in it but i hope you enjoy the video when we when i come back from vacation we will be using it to bail hay and metal and rake so you guys will see that some more works these enough 2021 i hope you guys enjoy please like comment and subscribe and yeah catch you later well guys here it is our massey new to the farm master ferguson 1100 that's diesel here's 1967. has a 6 cylinder perkins diesel motor in it go tank pto you have a clutch pto high and low ranges for your three-point hitch rims tires are on our our fire firestone's one of the expensive types of them where are they where is it at they got 18 point point 4-34 34 or 34s with this model you can tell by these this is an adjustable draw bar that goes up and down with a few switches up here three-point hitch mounts and it has a 540 sticking out that also has a thousand pto two outlets another size tractor there that is serial number manufactured canadians this one was made in the usa some of them are actually made in canada you know that the ferguson system right there's the perkins motor emel you can pretty much tell whenever everything is oh yeah there's some of the speed ranges you got you have six gears three on low and three on high then you have multi-power multi-power is more of pulling and gears shift here so you go park and one tell a little intel right here a shift pattern park we got reverse and one two three your high and low shift here's your throttle pretty much everything we don't know if the gauge works generator on air oil pressure here's your multi-power pto clutch this button is to raise and lower your steering well make sure the seat wasn't wet here's your hydraulics for the back we don't know what this pedal is for here's your clutch um we got it from our local john deere dealership that's right max ferguson from john deere radiator cap uh air intake muffler has a brand new radiator brand new alternator on it what else here's the seat button i pushed up and went down here is the three-point hitch raising lower set your implement gauge and everything else for it here's your implement step so by your three-point hitches you can turn it to raise how high it or how deep you want to go third link mount oh let's there's a gauge for our lights somehow we can get it to work turn it on so you guys can hear it all right here's what the frown tractor looks like front tires and 58 teams i believe so it says down there uh the only problem it has is this thing right here this is the front hydraulic pump before the steering they say it leaks but when you look down there is not really much of a puddle some water traps for fuel fuel pump starter here has a little can of starting fluid so you press on something and sprays it in oh what else and dipstick for the hydraulics for the transmission um came from a dairy farm up in new york i guess the farmers up there had bigger tires on this i put a piece of 4x4 on it and bolted it to the axles raises the fenders up higher horsepower tractor reason why they call it a red giant the first quarter showed back in the 60s when they first created it eleven and 1135 were both known as the red giants compared to what they actually had back then because it was first mass purpose and big horsepower tractor and their compact row high pyro high crop tractors that's one uh i think i also mentioned in the video but if i didn't have 104 horsepower on engine has 95 horsepower on pto it has a 540 and a thousand pto which means if you slide the pto shaft on top and it has a 540 the splines on it are more or thicker on a 540 than a thousand a thousand it looks like a like an actual shaft has all tiny little splines on it where you have to match it up on it but hopefully this tractor does this more than our original massey 175 that you guys seen in the last few videos from our previous videos on making hay and anything like that that's our original tractor that we used for many many years of everything mowing breaking bailing plowing disking planting everything but hopefully you guys did like the video once again please like comment subscribe share it my friend i'm trying to boost this channel higher hopefully soon we can make it better bigger and i can post more content
