Introducing the new Dell EMC PowerEdge Portfolio - Masterpiece

[Music] behind these new innovations for the new server launch i worked across the server engineering teams ensuring that the new feature architecture and designs were threat modeled and mitigations put in place to enhance the cyber resiliency of the new poweredge servers the poweredge secure component verification and native rsa secure id integration and idrac are examples of the new features i worked on it is not restricted to specific models or specific regions it is a worldwide offering one of my roles in the upcoming poweredge launch was assisting with the development of one of our new major releases for openmanage enterprise power manager we are giving the powerful cooling solution from air and liquid cooling and also we also deliver the system management feature on this generation [Music] we are incorporating a new feature called scope-based access control an administrator will be able to allocate scope for a device manager user the device manager only sees content that is relevant to that set of device groups so to speak the xc8545 is special for several reasons it's one of the first to have the new nvidia envy link baseboard with the a100 chips in it these chips are twice as fast as the previous generation and it's also going to be one of the fastest on the market being that it can cool these chips to the degree that they're required by the vendor benefit of working on these new programs where now we are pushing also the power density up from the previous generations so the servers can have more power firepower in them dell is investing to keep its supply chain secure and is extending that supply chain all the way from dell's piece parts all the way to customers receiving docs as customers utilize our open managed products with the poweredge line we'll ultimately give them a competitive advantage instead of the server just being a black box that sits in a corner leveraging these tools will allow them to unlock management potential that wasn't there previously [Music] i am proud to be part of the server engineering team in the customer first culture where teams are constantly innovating and inventing new ways to enhance our cyber resilience solutions i was extremely excited to unleash the raw horsepower of the xe 8545 upon my lab and then upon the world this thing can really process it really is an amazing platform what's next for me well ultimately developing new features for our products that will empower our customers for the future as i move upwards in my career path i would also like to extend my hand to the junior folks especially women in the stem field and enable them to move up in the engineering and the technical leadership path i think i'm keep working with our team to deliver more new technology the future is wider we are excited to bring these cool features to you [Music] you
