Introducing FILIPINO Food to my Korean Friends!

[Music] hey guys so we're here at service grill i went here last year it's where i met my roommate better here yeah really you before you followed me we finished everything it's like i would say one of the most famous restaurants [Music] i came to a filipino restaurant with my friend hello hi my name is stephanie [Music] i go by punny on youtube yep and he's also part of that youtube channel yeah so they are a couple [Music] are you a fan of museum and art all right jessica so the place i'm taking you right now um i'm just a normal korean student okay korean open yeah all right what's your name [Music] they've never tried like formal full-time food in their lives just because they're not much like the restaurants in korea it's kind of rare so i'm going to let them try some of my favorite favorite food but i've never really heard of someone saying yeah you want to go i'm going to filipino restaurant yeah right right okay how's your impression on the menu i have no idea what this is okay okay let me let me let me say so do you guys like garlic i love it i think we should get classic canton and seasick okay these are two of the most filipino dish that's in this menu this sounds really good means uh chicken it's a filipino yeah so you want chicken barbecue yeah how do you say i love ah unfinished sentence it's hard to no i love it yeah right we call this gangkong in the philippines huh that's not samika is very famous in korea but it's they never know that it's from but it was like it's a filipino yeah it's a filipino beer yeah i tried this i tried something people never know too the common ones that you can see in the convenience store is probably this kill set but then here they have somebody get light and somebody got absolute which is apple flavored beer [Music] [Music] [Music] is [Music] amazing how was your first time trying red horse okay so one thing that you got to know in korea i'm not bashing on community but they wander down a lot but i guess this is legit the only reason i don't like certain beers or drinking beer in korea is because it's watered down yeah you're going in you're going to slow clock whoa really great how about how does it feel i like it it's very light it's very light it feels a little weird it doesn't taste like it tastes more like fruity flavor it's kind of strong right it's like i like it i like it that it's beer if it's seven percent for beer who wants to try this because it tastes like apple cider all of his um cocktail preferences are pink yes like peach crush yeah [Applause] [Music] james actually used to live in the philippines oh right now when i was in kindergarten so tell us some filipino words [Music] [Music] beautiful crazy [Music] yeah that's one big similarity this one you have to mix rice when we order chinese food or like table from chicken i get jasmine this is way better i lived in singapore for quite a few years yeah singapore this feels like the flying good what kind of meat is this pork yeah it's pork what do you think which part of the pork beef is the bone butt is that it's like stir fry right i have a flavor because this very filipino flavor i mean i already like the egg noodles anyways so it's like a very oh wait it's kind of it's touring that american chinese makeup menu [Music] [Applause] [Music] it's kind of like this i feel like the only shot of you like me that you're getting is just eating how is the castle i think they call this water [Music] it's kind of exotic right yeah it's kind of soy sized with sour kind of soy sauce and chili i like it you like it yeah what's your favorite guys so my favorite your favorite is today so good seasick sea six years eight years two years nice oh my god does this have like um yeah the sauce is really cool [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] i find it so funny that it started off as like a health thing and then it naturally just switched to like do you think koreans can get very creative with their drinks but they take it too far that when the mint chocolate trend was like at its peak they made like mint chocolate doughnuts mint chocolate is so chewy yeah i was like i i'm a mint chocolate i love her but don't go there yeah you know i'm gonna get the whole pizza yeah i like it on pizza you don't like it let it go no you know what's weirder than pineapple pizza banana bread if [Applause] crazy like how did you feel what if they were listening and they're like this is my channel it's called okay i don't know it's so familiar it's so nostalgic really the philippines they fried it and people don't get to know warm bananas [Music] right it was kind of quite long ago but i still remember the taste [Music] is very heavy pescetarian really really not really vegetarian it's very [Music] [Music] all right guys so we just finished our meal here at the filipino restaurant how was it guys it was amazing it was so good yeah it's awesome especially seasick i'm impressed yeah because at this age honestly like i've tried a lot of different foods you don't get surprised anymore but this was really surprising i can't believe i've never tried it oh wow how about your panty patty ate the most well yeah i mean i thought it'd be really similar to other like thai food or vietnamese but it's really not especially this one [Music] tasted really familiar because i tasted it like 10 10 or 20 years back when i was really young but i still remember yeah i love i love food but it's really unique we'll definitely come back here alright guys so that was it for today's video i hope you guys enjoyed
