Installing Vevor Exterior Handrails | Handyman

what's going on YouTube it is Ron comes in handy and I'm on on job right now and salling these handrails for this client of mine um so I bought these uh I think the br's called viver viver v v o r got from Home Depot didn't have it in store so I had to order it picked them up so the instructions are very poorly um written is literally this is all it is right here so putting the rails together is easy you know this part right here is kind of confusing so you get about probably like maybe 12 of these right so two one each side two 4 uh 6 8 so you get 10 these are like extra ones and that's easy right here right put them together but when you start to put the anchors in that's where it gets confusing so I messed up on a few of them on the first one right here where I'm going to have to uh buy some longer ones so I guess I put in two deep in there and the bolt that this is supposed to go into is not catching so I'm going to have to get a longer one of these to try to catch it and so it could be in there so I'm going show you guys how to do this correctly so this one I did perfectly fine this is not moving anywhere so this right here so you want to make it on the uh make sure you get it on the brake and not in the grout so you you to pre- drill first let see if I can get this to nope it's not going to it's not going to stay M bit all right got your Mason bit again you want to make this lined up correctly make sure it's not on the grout I'm going to pre-drill these holes right here first with a small bit and then I'm going to switch to the bigger bit right here so I'mma uh pretty drill right now when you receive them they're like this right what you're supposed to do is you're supposed to make this bolt go into the sleeve like a quarter away a little bit more like that so it's so this right here could be flush all the way in and then this is a little bit in the um the sleeve or the anchor I guess you could say almost like that cuz when you put this in the hole you got to hammer it down if you don't hammer it down this might mess up the the uh the anchor so this is like perfect how you want it so there's a hole right there so like that and you hammer it in all right we're going to do the other one oh that one all went all the way in cool this one I got oh see this one's bent I got to fix that one later where's this one at this one we could screw in there a little bit more perfect and what I got so I got this right angle uh attachment with the right um socket and just go around and do them sorry I got trying to hold the camera at the same same time I'm going to cut this all right there we go I'm just got to wipe this down a little bit it's just dust but yeah they're down all there all the way you know the top is going to be a little bit wobbly but other than that it's stable this ain't going nowhere um like I said I got to get two new anchors for this one right here this is where I messed up on with those two right there so hopefully I can get two longer ones and I get some get some other ones just in case and there we go got these handrails installed I end up going to Ace Hardware and getting some lag Shields and lag screws for those two that didn't work so I'm about to go and I'll show you what the lag screws look like excuse the [Music] mess so I'm getting one of these putting in there made the hole bigger and then the lag screw which is one of those guys right there I see I think I prefer that method better um than the the the screws that came with it so yeah see you guys next time
