foreign [Applause] exceeded expectations [Music] what do we got Grayson pools box number one [Music] can't make any noise going down the road pretty quiet I know those are the quietest set of portals I've ever seen hold on hold on now those look good so now we've got the Airlines and everything in there for hooking up [Music] [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Music] okay so you can tell your your fronts because you got about six inch separation or on the rear it's a lot closer different bolt pattern those are more cool mount on the rear that converts the rear axle tube from a semi-float to a full float down [Music] foreign he likes to work smarter not harder I don't know I'm used to working with Grayson Grayson and I we like partner not smarter right person absolutely [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] I haven't been running for the last 10 minutes I'm kidding no [Music] give me one of them yeah why not right you're on the boat once problem is I ain't gonna live long [Music] thank you [Music] yeah that's my good side where where's Eric's good side I don't have one foreign so that went on nicely now it's hooking the brake line back up yes sir and so then you have a what a copper washer on both sides is that what helps to seat it sandwiches on there they're just Crush washers so question with what we drilled out if somebody said hey I want to put my vehicle back to stock would that that fitting still go back in or yeah so it'll it'll still work okay so now that's for the uh oil the Breather right breather tube yeah yeah so we're just gonna go lock lock make sure that we're not over stretching the brake line or the ABS wire or whatever we can get to our eighth portal we'll have this down pretty good right [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] Drive Unit I just installed the e-walker is not working it's brand new Straight from Ford performance so rather than pull all this apart I'm gonna see if I can pull the front drag units by disconnecting the upper control arm disconnecting the tie rod hold the sway bar see if I can rotate the whole CV forward enough to where I can then take the drive unit and drop it down so we'll see and I can't believe I'm doing this after all this work for portals but I need I want front lockers right [Music] all right so we pulled it out in what 28 minutes that way we said that's not bad that's a record time for us so we're going with lockers tomorrow and Talon's coming and ditching his family who's coming Sean I have no idea Talon's garage Sean come on why the crap of all this time do I still call you Talon every once in a while is it because your shirt probably let's just read it you can spend the night at my house I got an extra room we'll kick Reagan now you're right now I'm not sleeping in your daughter's room okay you can bump with me okay all right let's get this thing fixed and back in okay I really can't believe that we're tearing apart a brand new m210 because the locker won't work so interesting to see why huh I believe I broke it or Shawn it's my presence I think it's probably the one person that breaks everything I broke it [Music] foreign [Music] this is the how it's going to stand with the the stock wheels on 38s I guess uh what's next we're ready to go test drive it all right [Music] any tire noise [Music] [Music] all right we're going to show you a little test with the tibus portals number one I can peel out 2.3 liter and it just accelerates I'm doing 60. 70. 80. it is out almost 90 miles an hour on this road quiet and smooth as can be all right so we are headed out to Hidden Falls we got about an hour drive and I am so excited to drive out on these portals because that's the importance of these is not only the off-road capability but the on-road ride and comfort still maintained uh yesterday we were playing around a little bit and got up to 90 miles an hour it's smooth and quiet so we're gonna play around a little bit more maybe uh burn some rubber right yes sir all right let's see Zero to 60. 30. 60. 10.6 not bad for a Bronco on Friday yeah probably a little closer to ten because I started on accident four cylinder well good morning bronzebuster here we got Doug Drager and my son Levi who's like way taller than me speaking of taller we have a new Bronco here that's taller than a Sasquatch Bronco so to uh give comparison this year Doug what do we have all on yours this is really just a stock Badlands Sasquatch so it normally runs about eight and three quarters uh at the skid plate but right now we got a little bit of Tire deflation so we're down at about seven and a half on the shock skid right on the shock skid so we got seven and a half inches and we measured now we're on over here we go with the non-sas watch this was born as a black diamond non-sas watch and we've re-geared it to where it is 4.7 we've got the new front Drive Unit in today with the lockers and everything and the Titus portal puts us at about what 13 and a halfway done 13 and a quarter 13 and a quarter so almost double the clearance under the shocks kids and if you look you can't even see the rear diff that pumpkin so the clearance is amazing um gear reduction just incredible you know the on the way here I was able to just do burnouts I was able to uh go quite fast I won't maybe won't talk about how fast but the beauty of it is is the portals were quiet as a church mouse 107. 107. you couldn't hear him at all so when you're talking about we're talking about a you know a Bronco wonderful Drive Unit in these in these uh tibuses super quiet and very capable on the off-road so a good comparison is going to be and we'll put some video up to compare we came out last week of just kind of the the budget build which is a good build you know we had it on a three inch body lift uh we we put the perch collar in the front and we went 38s so we came out here we did some of the same obstacles we're going to do today but we're going to show how much easier it is and some of the obstacles I couldn't do last week what I can do now it went from a little squatty Bronco to a a big tall uh lots of clearance so I'm excited this will be fun you ready to go I'm ready let's go do it sorry you ready to go that was bad edit cut [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] this will be a fun comparison though portals and solid axle and stop okay forget about Doug and Sasquatch hey Sasquatch has its uh its place [Applause] [Music] so talking about the differences with the portals as opposed to last week and I'll say a big one is you know we're all concerned about what kind of damage we're doing underneath and so far all of these Ledges and waterfalls and stuff have gone up not only have I not spun any tire at all but I've not even touched a single skid plate having that extra five and a half I mean it's pretty much doubled our clearance Okay so what is is this Norm I guess it's North Pole I'm not sure what obstacle this is but um it's going to be kind of fun to go and show what we couldn't do last week we couldn't get any of the Broncos up last week and uh this week I think it'll be a whole other story so we'll see and we got we got some Jeeps so we're gonna show up here in a second absolutely that's what we do we need a Jeep Eater sign we're gonna go up one of the hardest obstacles here at Hidden Falls right now so this would give a good good idea of what the capabilities are what the portals are I guess we'll see [Music] [Music] um foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you [Music] this is a hard time I'm gonna blame it on this block you suck well you got all that dirt on the rock and you know it may not even be the tires because he's in the Mickeys and the stickies and it's still hard on without a solid axle so this has a lot of dust on it which is almost like a lubricant we almost rolled Amy's over sorry aim dog we don't mean to put you through that spotted so it wasn't her fault there you go [Music] power [Music] oh you finished the locker off yeah it was popping in Moab but it was still engaging but there's teeth in there so I think I'll probably try and shared the teeth off they're still spinning so either the lockers broke or this lockout broke my first my first break laughs you're with the right guys right I know a guy that can fix it though oh yeah we'll fix it [Music] very little rubbing got my bumper what's the whole reason you hear Cameron boy Celsius no not for the fun of off-roading and seeing the first the first viable set of portals on a bronco oh hey Doug got my bumper oh did we how am I supposed to get out I felt like it hit pretty hard yeah I bit down on my freaking teeth so right here on the corner [Music] foreign [Music] how we feeling Doug we're feeling so confident and having so much fun out here with portal who's just ripping it up on Portals it's basically a stock on steroids and left turn is like so freaking jealous because we're just a stock on stock so maybe tomorrow [Music] [Music] [Music] all right Doug can you give us a little update what's going on right now so we are um very deep into the wild and we have come upon a snake bite that put a hole in one of our tires so we're going through the patching process and it's going to take 15 or 20 more minutes so likely because of our hunger needs we're gonna have to sacrifice someone that's a whole lot of meat right there [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] all right [Music] all right need a jack I'm having a rough time with tires today [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Laughter] so maybe five minutes to get the bead back set again so another good reason to have a power tank because you can turn this all the way up to about we're about 400 PSI and even without taking the valve stem out we were able to push air in fast enough with two people holding it with this pressure jacked up that it set to be like that so good tool to have on the trail [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Applause] okay so we are after lunch we stopped and did a better patch job on the tire and sidewall it's holding air we're good so we're now going to go do loose Rock which is one of the hardest obstacles here at uh Hidden Falls Adventure Park so it's always it's a level five which level five I think here is about as far as it gets foreign [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] did you like all that dust [Music] foreign [Music] probably the most capable you're gonna get without being what Eric has a solid axle I think what could make it better is having a better suspension because this is the non-sas watch just the cheap old base suspension so no flex I have no front sway bar disconnected which also puts me in a disadvantage so you know once I get my anti-rock from Rock jock on there and maybe put an aftermarket suspension but to show this morning we were doing 107 miles an hour on the highway smooth and quiet to then coming off-road with these Highway Tires going up arguably the hardest five times was it like a five star five star and I think is most it gets here is a five star yeah I'm impressed I mean I I couldn't be happier with what it's done and you know better tires and better suspension and I think I could have keep kept up with that solid Axle just as good so portal exceeded expectations here we're talking about uh what you're saying going out and doing everything that we were unsuccessful doing in brockbuster and doing it without a sway bar disconnect so portals it rocked uh here rocked it here at Hidden Valley I'm gonna give it a 10. I love ranch all right so we're gonna close out this day I'm here with Eric from Lone Star ring and pinion of course he's got this beautiful ride on tell us what you have on there all right radius arms in the front hydraulic experience works works really well so that's all you can say so really probably the most capable Bronco in the country I would say because it's I think it's hard to argue that ifs against a solid axle when you rock crawl rock crawling it's gonna win right but today we've shown that basically a virtually stock Bronco with very few modifications and the Titleist portal axles have not only taken us this morning from doing 107 miles an hour here and just smooth ride to now coming out and doing just every Trail there is pretty much that's hard to hit hitting Falls and you know I'm I didn't take my sway bar off so I'm still completely sway bar it's not a bad land so there is no disconnect next time we'll disconnect that and show what it does uh you know the tires good good Highway Tires and decent off-road but really it performs very well you definitely want them on your Bronco for great on-road and awesome off-road capabilities and the first portal axles that are commercially available on the market in the U.S well in the world I guess really so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] thank you
