Installing Orfeo Toolbox (7.0) with QGIS 3.1x (tested with QGIS 3.12)

hello everyone in this video we will throw the steps in installing old filter box which can be run in QCs 3.10 3.12 I have tried a couple of instructions on installing Q she asked a film to box like using a fuel repository in here and it it didn't work out and also you can see that it did work and it runs so for now what we should do is for here we don't need to have the two packages the old filter box dock and what we can download from this website and filter box store oh and you should in my case I die well between are 64 bits but you can download the one which is corresponding to your operating operating systems and the second tool that we need is QJ s OTB Pilate I want you to download these qjs OTB platin using this web link and go through downloads and you can download it in the file format that you like I already download everything onto my computer's so I can love them and I store them in a photo call of your toolbox and in my photos I'm having two packages called OTB 7.0 for windows 64 bits and QCs OTB plottings i unzip these two files and store everything in focus yes OTB plotting i star all the files inside one single forest called hugest OTB plottings and now for all field to box I am also unzipped it unzip everything and store it inside the folder call off your - 2 bucks you can name these two photos whatever the way you want but you should keep track of those photo names to located it to for later installations so the next step you need to do is you want to go to the your window is flora by pressing the Windows key plus the letter e from the keyboards are to go through the window Explorer and if they want to go to this to check right click with on this PC or ear on my computer if you use other window rather than window tans and go to properties and in window properties we want to go to advanced system settings in advanced system settings we want to make sure that we are in the Advanced tab and go to environment variables in the environment variables we want to define a new user variables for users using newt and in here in the variable names and variable values like the one that i already are defined in here i define my variable names to be qg s underscore and the platin path all in capital and i want to in the variable values i want to use the Browse directories to locate to the place where i store the photos so where did I store up my photos after I unzipped these two packages or filter box and key GS ot be plotting I copy them and paste them to be inside my main window directory which is here Oh field to bounced and QGIS ot be plotting right and so for that in the environment getting back to the environment variable so we want to set it the variable names to be clues yes plucking path and in the variable value to browse the directory and browser to the location where we store our queue she asked o to be plotting and then hit ok ok after this depth your OTB to box should be appear on the list installed plotting into a package like you can see in here but for now you can see that the only option you have is reinstall plotting I'm sorry uninstall plugged in right at this stage of your to buck is not ready to run yet you need to go for the next step we want to go to processing in the tool box I have to go to processing and tool box even show the processing tool box in here we want to go to this icon stand for options so we want to select the option in the processing tool box and you can if you notice that in these channels the old filter box has not displayed on this panel it means that it is not ready to run the ends so we want to go to here and we want to go to providers in the options we want to go to providers it show the OTB is list in here we want to select it to be activate and we want to redefine the path to the OTB application OTB focus right so we want to double click on here until it show the trip of dots and then we browse it I have something else which is already defined but I don't want that path so I want to define a new path and eyebrows it to the place where I start my photos so I started inside the old field - 2 bucks right and then in this case and we want to go to beans oh sorry not being how we're going to go to limbs OTO to box licked ot bees and the applications select further Oh hit okay that's how I defined my path to go to the application folder inside the old filter box right remember the link should be inside the main directory of all filter blocks in the leap Oh T be and application with the S at the very ends and in the old TB photos I want to defy this to be in the main folder of Ohio to box so again I double clicks until it's show the tree products and then I go to old filter box and click the left mouse just once and then select further I go for okay and then we should wait for about a couple of minutes until it's sure the screen like OTB provider is activated and it is shown on screen on the panel or processing toolbox so that is now ready to runs and you should be able to run on the tool for odd few bucks so thank you very much for your attention
