Installation Tomcat 8.5.23 on Windows 10

hello friends welcome back this is cool ID Han and this is the video tutorial on setting up the Apache Tomcat 8 on Windows 10 yes I'm not going to use the Eclipse I will directly setup Apache Tomcat 8 on Windows so let's get started now open your favorite browser and just search Apache Tomcat 8 download press ENTER and now you will see the lots of search results now I will choose the first one ok open with the new tab and now here I am on the Apache Tomcat official website here I will download the Apache Tomcat 8.5 ok and just scroll down and we're searching for the binary distributions so I'm searching for the binary distribution files so I found here I'm working with a 64-bit windows so I will going to download this one 64-bit Windows zip file so I'm going to download it ok I have successfully downloaded it now I will put it in a separate folder on desktop then I will open it then I will unzip this file I have unzipped it now this is the main folder now let's look inside ok there's another folder and this is Apache Tomcat 8 point five point two three now look inside we have this we have all these files and folders inside the Apache Tomcat 8 before running the startup file here we have to set up the environment variables first then now come here on the disk PC and choose this one Portillo cursor and do a right click on your mouse and go to the properties and it will open up this oven doors for you here we have to choose this advanced settings option now click on that so it will open the system properties and now inside the advance tab I'll just come down side here here's an environment variable button so just click on it and it will open the environment variables window here we have to do something ok now come here inside this system variables we have a choices like and creating a new edit and delete the existing one so for we have to create two environment variable here so I'm going to create the first one now click on the new and you have to type Java underscore home ok now you have to give the value so just look at carefully choose this browse territory and go to the C Drive where the java has installed if you have not installed the java so first install the java on your machine then these steps ok now I will look inside the C Drive now go to the Program Files and here you will see this Java folder ok and this is the JDK that we are looking for so I will choose this JDK I will not give I will not give this bin ok I will select up to this JDK folder ok now click on this ok button environment variable value this is JDK 1.8 point 0.92 okay up to the JDK folder now press ok button so we have setup the one involvement variable now we have to set up the second one now again press this new button and type jay-ar e underscore home and choose this browse directory button and we'll do the same we will go inside the Program Files here's the program files and I'm looking for the Java folder is the Java folder now you can see here we have a first folder jdk and we have a second folder JRE so I will choose this one and I will press the ok button now now you can see here this is the path up to JRE folder and now click the ok button ok now finally we have set up these two environment variables successfully now press the final ok button and close this window we have set up all the environments variable correctly now we have to start the Tomcat 8 so let's follow this step and we will move inside so we will first go inside this bin folder ok so you have downloaded this folder and we have another folder inside it and now we are going inside the bin folder here ok that's fine now we have to execute this startup batch file from this place then how you can do that just look at here now I'm going to click on this place ok now just type the CMD and press Enter and you can see this the CMD window will open for you and the path is already set to to the bin and now here you have to do two things now first type Java underscore home now press Enter now you can see that the value of Java home that we set up inside the involvement variable no we will repeat same for the JRE now type this set jay-ar e underscore home and press enter and now you can see this is the same value that we set up for the GRE environment variable okay now we have to finally execute the start of bad file okay so where it is this is the start of not bad to start this you just simply type start top just simply type the name of this startup and press Enter and now you can see that some activity is starting and the approach is Tomcat 8 services is started now ok and the cursor is stopped at this place okay now we will finally ensure that we have done everything correct or not ok now come back on your favorite browser and open the new tab and here you have to type local host : 8:08 zero eight zero eight zero is a port address on which the Tomcat services is running by default now press Enter okay now here is the home page of the apache tomcat it means the purchase services is successfully running and everything is fine now so this is the homepage of our tomcat and we have installed and running it successfully now if you
