Install Apache Tomcat server on Windows and run sample java application

hello everybody in this video I'm going to show you how to download and install Apache Tomcat server and use this server to run Java Java applications so the tutorial will be divided in four parts first one is downloading and installing Apache Tomcat server second is running simple war file this is sample java application and run tomcat comments on this application the comments are start stop reward deploy and deploy and in first case we will use for running these comments Tomcat manager interface manager graphical user interface and so the third objective will be downloading and installing cygwin with C URL comment and for run Tomcat comments using cygwin command prompt so let's start with the first objective it's downloading and installing Apache Tomcat so to download Apache Tomcat we will simply go to google download so there is al-kitab ship official website you will use Tomcat 8 so here here are the links for downloading so we have several options for downloading this server first one is the zip file and this zip file will give us outstanding the application for server and we can also use windows service installer which will run as normal windows process so in this case in this tutorial we will use this windows service installer will download it so when it's downloaded we run this so here we have option to input the username and password this will be useful for our second objective and this password I mean login and password later login username and password later will be used to enter Tomcat manager interface so we will remember this so in this step the installation is asking for Java Runtime marine environment so if you have already installed ja g err e then you should provide the path or if you haven't downloaded it you have to go and download what air e so it's here we will download it and after that continue installation SOI solution is finished and now we run Apache server ok now we have already installed Tomcat server now we can test it on localhost and 8080 port this port 8080 is the default port for apache tomcat so there are ok the manager it asks for password we enter the password which we set while installing tomcat so it's and I don't say password so this is manager graphically graphical user interface for junket so as we can see there are some kind of services we can use to manage the Tomcat Tomcat so there is important files or hand link Tomcat server is located in Program Files config so as you can see if we open Tomcat user files so here is the user we added while installing tonkin username password and thus our will run automatically deployed and we'll be able to see this application here but we want to do this we will okay just try this you can try this we will put this file and now we can see there is sample application let's open a new window so here here is the java application and we run it on localhost local Apache Tomcat server ok we could upload the war file from here as well we would just choose the war file it's not here anymore yeah we could just choose our file and it will do the same as we as it did when we put the file here manual as we can see here for this application we have some kind of comments stop reload and deploy we can move for example top the file application and if we refresh it we get 404 error if we start it works again but we can do these comments execute this command stop reward and deploy it and start using the browser comments HTTP comments so so here is the general syntax for HTTP request for tomcat cons so here we have username password host port
