Install Apache Tomcat 10 Web Server On Windows 10/11 [2024 LATEST] | Tomcat Server Installation

hey guys welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm going to show you installation of latest Tomcat on your Windows system so guys let's start the video so you can open any of your favorite browser and just search for Tomcat download and guys here you can see the search result just scroll down and take this Apache Tomcat download so this is the official side so guys now here you can see various downloads available don't go for 11 take Tomcat 10 so now guys here it's showing me uh Tomcat 10 download and here you can see there is one important node given over here what has been given over here the API has been changed from java X to Jakarta so wherever you were using Java X you have to use Jakarta now so guys just scroll down and Below you can see different binary distributions available so depending on operating system you can select I've selected this for Windows operating system so now I'm just minimizing my browser and I'm clicking on this uh exe to install here I'm clicking on next button now I need to accept license and agreement so I just click on this button now guys here you need to select everything Tomcat manager all that thing and now click on next button here guys it's showing me that Tomcat will be run under Windows services with a name Tom 10 that's okay I don't have any problem and now you need to provide your user ID and password so guys whatever user ID and password you are providing do remember that because you may need that whenever you are creating solid project right so after that guys you can see it has detected my jdk so you should have jdk install and click on next button guys and after that you can see this is showing the installation location of Tomcat that's okay I will just click on this install button and guys it will not take more time the installation is done done and now here it's showing me readme file and run Apache tom cat so I'll uncheck readme and I'll keep the Run Apache tomcat and here I'll click on finish button so now guys it's starting my Tomcat server you can see here you can just click on uh your tray and you can see Tomcat is running also you can open Windows Services by typing services in search box and here you can see my Apache Tomcat server is running another way to check that whether your installtion is successful you can open browser and you can just type Local Host colon 8080 because the default Port of Tomcat is 8080 and guys you can see it's showing me the uh welcome page of Tomcat so that mean the installation is correct hope guys by following my video you are able to successfully install Tomcat on your system so guys if my video has helped you don't forget to hit on like button and guys if you have any type of query you can put in comment box I I will surely reply to your queries and guys you can go to my playlist I have created lots of video related to um advaned Java you can just watch that if you requir and guys um I have created my telegram Channel there I'm sharing lots of PDF notes interview question that too freely you can join that all my social media link I have shared in my description box and guys the very important thing if you're new to my channel and if you haven't subscribed to my Channel please do subscribe me to support me and my channel thank you guys for watching my video till end I'll see you in my next video till that take care and bye-bye guys keep learning guys
